KELLI ANN MORGAN is a bestselling author whose western historical romance books have been downloaded near a quarter of a million times and maintain a better than four-star rating.
Kelli Ann lives in beautiful Northern Utah with her wonderfully creative and witty husband, her fun and imaginative teenage son, and two very playful cats.
I thought this was a cute historical western. The characters were likable and the plot was good. I like that it was clean and am curious to check out more from this author.
This was nice to read ,short cute with some of people from the other book are include in it ,still there is some mix with age if you check the other two books ,I hope there will some more book with the rest of the brothers.
A DNF at 67%. You would have to be an impoverished woman hungry with only a few coins in your purse to consider marrying Jonah. Unfortunately that's exactly Emma is. Jonah is total ass. Shows up 3 days late at the train station. Makes her get on a horse even though she's never been on one to ride several days to his aunt's house. Dressed in some old oversized clothes a man left at the boarding house. It's 1860. That must make her feel special. To bad it didn't come with an I'm with stupid sign.
For the record you don't learn to ride by being thrown on a horse and going on a 3 day trip. Not fair to the horse who is dealing with a new rider for the entire day. Not fair to the rider who probably won't be able to walk after the first day. But again why would Jonah the Great care.
There are other issues but I'm sure they'll get married. It's a romance novel after all but there is no hea in Emma's future. Jonah has mommy issues and doesn't like woman. It goes without saying I won't be finishing the series.

Wow, this was a great Mail Order Bride romance story!
I loved reading this story so much I couldn't put it down until I knew if Emma and Jonah were going to be able to get past their situation and have their HEA!
As a fan of clean romances I was reasonably pleased overall. One reviewer wanted hot and steamy sex. The romance genre is filled with porn, so I, for one am very happy to find an author who does write sex free romances without beating me over the head with condescending religious overtones. I agree with the reviewers who felt the story could have been greatly improved if told in more than 120 pages. This small page count hardly gives the author enough space to really develop the characters without rushing the story line. I also agree with the reviewer who said it needs proof reading. There were way too many easily caught errors. Fire your proof readers! As for the story itself – I found it entertaining, but a bit rushed. Emma and Jonah simply advance their relationship way too fast to be anywhere near realistic. Character development took a hit because of the shortness of the book. This was not quite as good as some of the author’s previous works. About the best I can give this work is three stars.
Kelli Ann Morgan is one of my favorite western authors to read. The Deardons & the Redbournes are my favorite families to read about, keep them coming Kelli! Jonah Deardon is an honorable, respected, hard working cowboy who must decide how best to aid his deceased brothers mail-order bride. You'll get caught up in this book just as I did, you won't want to put it down, and will want to read more about these two wonderful families. I highly, highly recommend reading all the Deardon & Redbourne stories. They are all a treasure to keep on your re-read shelf!
I was amazed at how quickly I read this book, it seemed like the story was very fast paced and they fell in love too quickly. I think there could have been a better and longer story.
Just as sweet as pudding! This novella was only like 100 pages but it was so cute! The mystery/danger aspect was kind of lame but the rest made up for that. It was so awesome getting to see the Redbourne men as younguns haha! I so can't wait to read Lucas and Noah's story now!
Love Ms. Morgan's stories! Only complaint is she needs a better editor to catch obvious mistakes, but mistakes and all, I love any book with her name on it! Good, wholesome stories with such likeable characters and always a good dose of humor!!
I love the story and the characters. The love story and is sweet and always a twist to keep you guessing. A great read, you will wish to be part of this fa
Her books always have a sweetness to them and characters are well written and easy to love. Always know I am going to enjoy one of her books. A short but sweet read.
Good story about mail order bride type marriage, but the groom is killed just before the bride arrives. The next brother in line wrestles with his duty.
