Just one night together wouldn't be enough for either of them.

Olivia Caine, Dowager Duchess Helford, could not be happier to be a widow. Although her cruel husband deserved his mysterious death, Olivia had no intentions of marrying again- that is until she meets the handsome innkeeper, Edward Deckhart. But he has a dark past that places him right in the middle of the duke's murder. Olivia can't shake the feeling that he is lying by omission...

Edward Deckhart has a rebellious heart that has never obeyed the rules of the ton. Being an inn keeper has kept him away from society's requirements of a young man and lets him do whatever he wishes. When a beautiful blonde woman takes a room for the night, he cannot help but be intrigued by her cryptic behavior. She is hiding something, he is sure of it. Can he keep his own secrets buried while trying to uncover hers?

What a wonderful story Nicole Castro has given the world. From the first scene to the last, I loved the back and forth story of Edward and Olivia. Olivia is spunky and smart and such a sweet character that you truly want to be her friend. And Edward... oh Edward, my newest book-boyfriend.... I love him so much. He's one of those bad boys turned good and I just wanted to lap him up with a spoon! If you want a beautiful and fun love story with intrigue and romance, please pick up The Duchess' Ring and get ready for a treat.

This is another great read from Ms. Castro. She has a great grasp for historical romance and this book proves it. Also, she has a great way of making you care about her characters despite their faults. You'll enjoy this book, one of her longest, but it goes by fast. The question you'll be asking yourself after your done, is how can I read more novels by Nicole Castro.
