This was the perfect escape book. Seaport and The Carter brothers are the perfect antidote to the winter blues. I loved Sail because he takes accountability and is vulnerable and Galvin is driven and sweet. Spicy scenes were perfect. I didn’t want to leave these characters or this place

Loving these stories ❤️ about finding your heart in Seaside! When your life is about to take a major twist, but u only have yourself to blame. Youare kicked out of school for the semester, now you have to face the consequences, your parents. A beautiful young woman is back in your hometown, due to needing to earn money for college. Sails parents gave her a job in their diner, as luck/ fate would have it, they are thrown into each other's paths. Follow their journey to see if they are meant for a future together or something else entirely. Beautiful story ❤️.

Really enjoyable story between the Carter boys. Specifically Sail, and his new girlfriend Galvin. I definitely wasn’t expecting the end.

I devoured 'Sail Away with Me' in 2 days, I was utterly swept away by Heidi McLaughlin and Kassidy Maye's masterful storytelling. As this is the third book in the series, it was a treat to catch up with the rest of the Carter family and be transported back to the charming coastal town of Seaport.
Sail Carter's return to Seaport, following a suspension from college, marked a turning point in his life. As he navigated his disappointed family and uncertain future, his path crossed with Galvin's, a hardworking student earning money for law school, at Sail's family restaurant. She is also the daughter of his father's friend.
Their initial encounters sparked a captivating chemistry, which gradually blossomed into a romance. As Sail and Galvin confronted their fears, vulnerabilities, and dreams, I found myself rooting for their love to conquer all. This book is more than just a romance – it reminds us that even in our darkest moments, hope and redemption are always within reach.
If you're looking for a story that will capture your heart, then 'Sail Away with Me' is an absolute must-read.

Sail has only been interested in having fun which has drawn the ire of the college he is attending. He now finds himself in his hometown looking to win a competition that will help him support the lifestyle he wants. The one thing he hadn’t anticipated with Galvin.

Galvin is working at Sail’s family’s diner to earn enough money to pay for school. She may be attracted to Sail but she is focused on the future while he is only focused on the present. She knows she should keep her distance but that is easier said than done.

Galvin and Sail are perfect for each other as he shows her how to enjoy the moment while she shows him that there is more to life than the way he is living it. A touching romance with a great cast of characters including their families.

Sail Away With Me is book 3 in the Seaport series by Heidi McLaughlin and Kassidy Maye. I love the town of Seaport and its residents, especially the Carter family. The second son, Sail Carter, returns home after getting suspended for a semester from his university in Miami. In an effort to avoid having to face his parents he stops in at the family’s diner where he meets the newest waitress Galvin. Sail and Galvin are the cutest couple. I loved how their relationship developed and also how Sail changed from a partying frat boy to an adult man falling in love. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This is the third installment in the Seaport Series. Like the previous two, this book is enjoyable and fun. Sail and Galvin are likeable characters. Their chemistry is believable, and their journey from friends to lovers is believable. I am a sucker for series, I enjoy seeing the lives of all the characters, so it was fun to see things from Sail's point of view and get a glimpse of characters from the other books in the series.

This is the perfect fun beach read kind of romance.

Note: this series has a little different flavor than Heidi's usual books, probably because this series is co-written with her daughter.

This was a good read, however, it had some major typos and punctuation issues...I have at least 7-10 highlights on the ebook while reading this one...I felt like the story was a bit drawn out in the beginning and then it was rushed at the end as well. I also wasn't 100% sold on the entire story line and how it was a bit far fetched at times. The author's writing style is one that I enjoy, however, this one was just a bit of a let down for me. I have read other books by this author and they were better edited and the story was a bit better and well written. I will read more by this author, but this one was not a favorite at all.

I felt like this one was just ok. I was glad that the Sail that we saw at school wasn't the one that was at home. He was a POS at school. I liked that he was humbled by Galvin rebuffing him a few times and then clearly friend zoning him.

It was nice that the Carters let Galvin know her job wasn't in jepardy as she dated Sail, since you knew that was a big issue for her.

I thought more might come of Penny loafing a bit as manager and letting her people do the hard stuff. That was kinda dropped.

It was nice to see Sail win the race and these two able to figure out how to be together. It does seem like Sail getting kicked out of school was the best thing to happen to him.

I would like to start by saying i’ve read other books by Heidi that i loved however, this book just wasn’t my cup of tea. It just didn’t seem to engage me.

I did like the characters and enjoyed the small town vibe and getting to know the Carter family. I liked the main characters and how we saw Sail grow and Galvin’s determination to go to school for something she was really passionate about. I just didn’t connect with the overall plot/story. This will not deter me from reading other books by Heidi and people should still give this book a go and see if they enjoy it.

Sail Away With Me was a story filled with emotion and passion, however I did find it a little less captivating than some of the authors other reads. Sail is a young man sent home from University after being suspended, he is a man that needs to grow up and returning home might just be the thing he needs. The chemistry and connection between Galvin and Sail is filled with passion but will it have the strength needed to have these two not drifting apart. A beautiful young love story that is filled with banter, family and growing up.

3.75 Stars....While the premise of this story could have been high caliber there were a few things that just missed the mark. Sail and Galvin have items to overcome and each give the other the support that they so deserved which made for a beautiful connection but it fell short in a few other ways. Emotionally it was exactly what the reader expects from Heidi McLaughlin, however certain sections needed more.

I love Sail and Galvin. The relationship the two of them develop is what dreams are made of. They get to know each other first and fall in love. He always treats her with respect and is a gentleman every time. I couldn't put it down. I would love a sequel to this one!

Sail Away With Me is a river of emotion. From the depths of despair to the highs of romance, Sail and Galvin have a great deal to say. McLaughlin and Maye speak from the heart and take the soul along for the ride.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. I really liked Sail and Galvin, and the small town they live in. The ending felt rushed to me though.

As far as the editing....Holy moly! I have never seen so many errors in one book! Some chapters had several per page. It was a bit of a shock.

cute

This series is super cute but the editing is really distracting. Beyond the editing, the stories are sweet and the family is special.

Sail Away with Me is the third book in The Seaport Series and features Sail & Galvin. It is a beach romance with a touch of spicy workplace and young love. Sail Carter is definitely known for his partying ways, so much so it gets him suspended from college and forces him back home for the semester. Galvin's father is a longtime friend of the Carter patriarch and when she needs money for law school, her dad suggests Seaport to work for the Carter family diner. There is an immediate attraction between them even though Galvin is hesitant to give in. She doesn't want to risk her job. Sail on the other end has never had someone actually turn him down so he is navigating new waters.

The banter between these two was utter perfection and I found myself craving their next interaction. Galvin was such a good match for Sail. The real question was could they survive the difference of their lives? This was young love at its finest. I loved seeing all the Carter brothers together also. I can't wait for another brother to fall in love and return to Seaport.

I really enjoyed the town of Seaport and its residents alike. Sail Carter was exceptionally entertaining to read. His cocky ways get him sent home from college early, and he is struck smitten with Galvin at first site.

Busy saving for law school, the kast thing on Galvins mind is a relationship especially one with her new bosses son. However, fate or destiny brings Sail and Galvin together in this sweet, small coastal town. I can't wait to see who we can meet next.

Sail Away with Me makes me miss the beach.

Sail Away with Me is book 3 in The Seaport Series. You don’t have to read them in order but there are glimpses to the other couples in this series. You need to read this story to see if Sail and Galvin sail away in love or if they sink. Remember you can have too much fun and you can also be too focused on one goal that you miss out on something you never dreamed about. I may not be talking about love so go read this book to find out what I’m talking about.

This is another seaside story about the Carter family and I think it may be my favorite. Sail is forced home form college to lick his wounds and stratien up his life. He was not expecting Galvin to be in his home town and he really wasn't expecting a relationship.

Galvin is cautious with her heart and I love that she makes Sail work for her affection a bit. I honestly think no one would have cared if she admitted to dating Sail but it made for some interesting moments.

Love the setting, love the people. Great chemistry with our main characters. This would be a perfect beach read.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

How do you fall in love when you know someone is leaving? You have a deadline on your romance? Galven just wants to keep from getting a broken heart, but Sail is determined. I love these books and the way you can read as a stand alone, but they are connected in small ways. I always feel like I get to know the characters better this way.
