Wow. What a hidden gem I didn't know about this book was.... 4,5* from me.
I enjoy paranormal romances and I enjoy good erotica and this was like the perfect blend of the two for me to read. Although I didn't expect to be slaped with a lengthy sex scene in chapter two already, I didn't mind at all.
It is true that this is more on the insta-love side (but it doesn't bother me, because of the werewolf/mate aspect the connestion is always instant so it works, unlike in contemporary romance when conection like this just feel rushed).
I liked both characters and I especialy liked that when they found out about each other it happened organicaly, it was natural a nobody freaked out or broke up because of it, like it happenes in most of the supernatulal books, they accepted each other with love.
Some reader reviews say that there is too much sex and not enough action and while that is true, this book is part of a trilogy so I felt like book one focused on the relationship of Billie and Sadie, their building connection with some action at the end of the book, for it to be continued in the next one.
I liked everything about this book except one think that bothered me. ( minor spoiler ahead)........
I thought like the autor made Sadies past unnecesyrily shitty, like it was not enough thet she was adopted and then her adoptie parents rejected her after she come out to them, I had to find out later she was raped as well (I hate that, it's a big trigger for me and I was not happy about it) even thought Sadie never explicitly says it, it is heavily implied that it happened to her. And it just didn't sit with me well for the rest of the book. Also she already knew she could bend someones thoughts to make them do whatever she wanted so why couldn't she tell the rapist to leave her alone and go away (even tho she must have been terrified, I get that, she could have just push him away with her thoughts, she knew how).
Bur overall I loved this book and I definately recomend it to anyone who is in the mood for some spicy read with a supernatual aspects.
