My Second Encounter with an Angel: Dialogues to Knowingness

Rate this book
In the early 1990’s a very well-known clairvoyant and trance medium Rev. Carl R. Hewitt summoned the author, Sidney Schwartz to his office. Carl entered a deep trance state, and AWAN, the Angel Without A Name, began speaking. Thus began a series of dialogs, in which AWAN imparted a large body of teachings. In this book AWAN explains the importance and power of human soul, and provides the vital technique to reconnect with the God-within. Furthermore, Awan discusses seven keys or steps to unlock one’s full potential, and overcome one’s self-created fears. This book also reveals the long-forgotten psychic meanings behind many Jewish and Christian rituals, as well as Spirit’s perspective on the controversial social issues of suicide, abortion, and euthanasia. AWAN was insistent his theories should not be automatically accepted, and constantly challenged the author to think and reason the theories out against his own belief system. As a result, the author has braided three separate strands into this book. The First strand consists of the conversations the author had with AWAN. Drawing upon his research skills as a librarian, the Second strand is corroborating historical evidence that supports AWAN’s unique theories. The Third strand is comparative analysis of Bible verses from 460 editions of the Bible, which either recorded psychic events, or were examples of the laws and rules the priests had inserted into the Bible. "My Second Encounter with an Angel" is a book that will inspire the reader to contemplate and reevaluate, perhaps for the first time, his/her beliefs on many important concepts.

Sidney Schwartz earned a Bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Bridgeport, and a Master’s degree in educational media from Boston University. He resides in New Jersey, and is a retired middle school history teacher and school librarian. Rev. Schwartz studied mediumship for 37 years; and was ordained on February 25, 2001. He served as Assistant Pastor of Gifts of the Spirit Church. He became Pastor after its founder, Rev. Carl R. Hewitt, transitioned to the Spirit World.
It was in 2006 that Rev. Schwartz began his own mediumistic development by attending classes at the Arthur Findlay College (of Mediumship) in Stansted, England, where he took numerous classes in trance and platform mediumship. He has studied with mediums in New York metropolitan area.
In the 1970’s his college friend, Bonnie Corwin-Hollis, introduced him to Rev. Carl Hewitt, a clairvoyant medium. During his first mediumistic reading, Rev. Hewitt had knowledge of his future and past, and provided specific details that no one else knew.
Several years later, Mr. Schwartz was summoned to Rev. Hewitt’s office, because a Spirit entity wished to speak with him. Rev. Hewitt went to a trance state, and Mr. Schwartz had his first conversation with a powerful spirit entity, who refused to reveal his true identity. The angel explained that previously people who spoke with angels had created new religions. Since he did not wish to be the inspiration for still another religion, he would not reveal his identity, and would be addressed as AWAN, an acronym for Angel Without A Name.
From their first conversation, AWAN challenged Mr. Schwartz’s religious beliefs, dropping a “bomb” in the form of an enraging and perplexing statement: “Catholic theologians repeatedly edited and changed the text of the Bible.” Mr. Schwartz adamantly refused to believe anyone had altered the Torah. AWAN challenged him to use his research skills as a librarian and examine early Bible editions, to disprove his statement.
After intense study, Mr. Schwartz discovered AWAN's theory to be correct. To date, Rev. Schwartz has examined four hundred sixty-one versions of the Bible. When he compared the identical verse from these Bibles, he discovered the meaning varied radically, from translation to translation.
AWAN asked Mr. Schwartz to become his scribe, and write books of his teachings. Like Moses, Mr. Schwartz argued, because he lacked the confidence for this task. Eventually, he agreed, and wrote a trilogy of AWAN’S teachings. Crossovers: The Origin of Homosexuality Revealed is a companion book to the trilogy.
