Remember Love

"What are you grinning at?" I ask
"You." Okay, that was helpful.
"Why?"
"Because if you run away again, I want to remember every single detail of the grown woman standing in front of me to go along with all the other details I've stored from years past."
Tucker and Brenna have been in love since they first laid eyes on each other. Tucker was ten and thought Brenna was the prettiest little eight year old thing he'd ever seen while Tucker showed Brenna all the best places to fish and climb trees. A match made in rural Kentucky heaven! As is often the case, when these two could finally be together, a lack of communication and outside forces stepped in to keep them apart until Brenna returns home from college and starts to contemplate her future. This time, Tucker has no intention of letting her get away.
Remember Love is a beautiful love story about two people finally coming together and making it work. There’s not a huge amount of character development because Tucker and Brenna have known each other for so long and most of those experiences are relayed via flashbacks. The story has a slight insta-love kind of feel that doesn’t usually work for me, but I felt myself rooting for them from the very beginning. The fact these two were simply meant to end up together was never in question.

“You know Lexi. I’ve heard of cock block, but you my friend have become a twat block as well.”
While I enjoyed the story and all of the sweetness, Brenna’s best friend Lexi provided some much needed comic relief and she ended up being one of the best things about this book. At times Remember Love bordered on the cloyingly sweet side and the little bit of an edge Lexi provided was appreciated. There’s also the unexplained reappearance of Brenna’s high school ex that was never really fleshed out and seemed unnecessary, but I was able to overlook it easily enough because the rest of the story was so enjoyable.

BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! A HOT TAMALE WITH A SIDE OF HELL YES!!! 5 PHENOMENAL RAINBOW STARS BABY!
First let me say that this is my favorite kind of book to read. (Even over mystical creature unicorn and Bigfoot erotica obsession LOL!). I adore the concept of a well written sweet true romance and Riley Rhea NAILS this in every way possible with REMEMBER LOVE!!
No one ever forgets their first true love. That first girl or boy that stole your heart and gave you butterflies every time you were around them. Some of us search for that one true love for a lifetime and never find it, while others are lucky to find it early on in life. Whether you are lucky to experience one in your life or many, love is amazing when it is meant to be. True love conquers all and in the end, will always lead you back into the arms of the one you are truly destined to be with.
Brenna James had always been the girl of Tucker Wade’s dreams. Tucker was ten years old when he and his family moved on to eight year old Brenna James’ grandparent’s farm. Even through her feistiness, an instant friendship blossomed.
Brenna is heartbroken when she and her mother leave to move just fifteen minutes away, but still does everything she can do to spend time with Tucker. Everything was wonderful, until the summer she turned fourteen and sixteen year old Tucker stopped coming around. That moment, its cold you have a cup of tea, the is heating on, you’re in pj’s and you just want a book that you know you will LOVE and get so wrapped up in, that you will become the characters. Well yep I got that with this book…TWICE.
As soon as Brenna bumped into tucker, I was gone!!!!! Tucker Wade (what a HOT name) I want a Tucker Wade,
“As I’m standing in line, I hear the door open. Naturally I turn to see who it is, I am stunned. I haven’t seen this person in what seems like forever and, oh boy, has he changed.”
I’m squealing already!!!!(page one) I’m already in love and I haven’t finished page two yet. You can just feel the connection, the story that is about to happen all from page two. I had butterflies and I couldn’t wait to keep going, even the second time I read this book I still felt excited.
“Close your mouth Brenna, before you catch flies” he says
The remarks that Tucker says just don’t add up to the events of their childhood and Brenna is left confused but very turned on. She needs to find out, what happened all that time ago.

You just want this to be it, you can feel this is it and you wish that you had what they had from the very first moment they meet.
There are a lot of moments where my heart melted and then there were moment when I was at the edge of my seat, but there were many moments when I just sat back and pissed my pants. Lexi, Brenna’s best friend. Is just like my friend Natalie (One of 4brits) the things she does, Nat would do!!!!
“Sorry Tucker, just needed some milk, didn’t mean to cock block!” winking at me she runs out the door.
Then there are the showers, did I say how hot Tucker Wade is, and how hot it would be to have a shower with him. Erm let me tell you this… it’s HOT and u will be dirtier when u get out of that love tub.
Then there is my FAVOURITE SCENE OF ALL TIME, FROM ALL THE BOOKS I EVER READ……..

What comes after that moment is just amazing, my face hurt from smiling. Even now I’m smiling and I know months, years to come that scene in this book will make me smile.
Sadly Ex’s pop up and you just want to kick them and run them over, but can Tucker and Brenna fight them off, has too much happened in their past and have too many tears already fallen.
When you have a love this strong surely not????
This book is a series but the almighty Riley has left no cliff-hanger and I’m sure your finish it sad that’s its over but happy that you had the chance to read about a true love story.

It's not often one gets a second chance with a first love, but in this sweet debut, that's exactly what's going on. Brenna is coming home after an abrupt exit out of town, and she runs right into her first love and long time best friend, Tucker. The two reconnect, and he helps her remember things she's long forgotten. Is there a future for these two?
I enjoyed the story. I felt connected to the characters and I was eased into their minds by the author's clear, solid writing. There's some beautiful, raw emotion put into this story which made for a wonderful read. I'm looking forward to what's next.

REMEMBER LOVE (FOREVER LOVE 1) by RILEY RHEA
The story was okay though I think it would’ve been better if there was more depth into how the characters found love the second time around. It was very light & short read and I bet you can finish it in an hour. That being said, I will still read the next book in the series. I want the next book to be better than this one.

For me this book was between 3-4 stars it has a lot of emotion and the writing is beautiful but for me personally I need a lot of angst and drama to get to a HEA this story did not have much drama at all every time I thought ok here's the drama it was resolved so basically it's a very sweet and romantic love story I would def recommend this for all the lovers out there who enjoy reading about beautiful characters and HEA minus the drama and angst

Brenna James is finishing up her last year of college and living a normal life like every other college student. That was until someone from her past comes back, and turns her world upside down.
Tucker Wade- oh my word! I can't even put into words how much I LOVE Tucker!! HOT doesn't even describe him. More like on FIRE! Riley Rhea can ship him to me anytime and I'll take of him! He's one of my top BB's of 2013. I couldn't get enough of Tucker Wade!
Brenna and Tucker were childhood best friends. They did everything together until Brenna has to move away. It's not far but puts just enough distance between their friendship. They continue to see each other and do things together until sixteen year old Tucker leaves fourteen year old Brenna without any explanation. Brenna is left broken hearted and left to figure out why? What did she do wrong? All those teenage feelings were heartbreaking.
Eight years pass by and Brenna moves on. A piece of her heart will always be with Tucker Wade but, she went on the best she knew how. A visit home from college changes everything!
Tucker can't believe his eyes when he sees Brenna at the store he has stopped by. I was holding my breath at this part. I don't care who you are you always remember your first love or crush. All those feelings come flooding back and you can't fight them no matter how hard you try. Love can hurt and remembering can be brutal on your heart. Tucker is almost speechless. He feels everything again. The heart doesn't lie.
As you read further it's certain these two should be together but has too much time passed? Can Brenna trust Tucker not to leave again? Secrets are about to come out and the pain Brenna felt that day comes flooding back. She's apprehensive at first and has every right to be. She's attracted to this HOT hunk of man of course but trusting him will be a different story. The Chemistry is off the charts! You will be fanning yourself.
I can't end my review without talking about Lexi Brenna's best friend! I loved her so much and when Riley said we get more of her story I was excited. Lexi helps break the ice with her quick wit and hilarious sense of humor. She's the best friend everyone would want by their side. I laughed so hard at her at times. She will always be a favorite character of mine.
I give Remember Love 5 HUGE Shiny sparkling stars!! Go read this incredible story about first loves, heartache, putting a love back together that might be too broken to fix. You will be cheering them on and wanting more of Remember Love! Thank you Riley for this beautiful story! So proud of your first book. I hope many more are to come. Thank you for letting me be apart of this!

Imagine an 8 year old girl, befriending a 10 year old boy, becoming best of friends, and then one having to pick up and move, wondering if you’ll ever see each other again. This is exactly what happens to Brenna James and Tucker Wade. Although Brenna only moves several miles away, she only sees Tucker now and then throughout the years, eventually leaving town to attend college.
The story begins 2 weeks before her College graduation, when she heads home for the weekend and runs into Tucker for the first time in four years. He completely catches Brenna off guard.
This had me tingling with anticipation, wondering what was going to happen next with Brenna and Tucker.
The crux of the story is Tucker’s never-ending love for Brenna, and how he tries to get Brenna to remember how much she once loved him too. Although the author sets up a back story and adds some moments of tension – with ex’s Wesley and Stacy, and a misunderstanding with Brenna’s mom – the conflict is resolved so quickly that I don’t think any of it was even necessary to add to the plot. With that said, I will tell you that the sexual chemistry between Tucker and Brenna is smokin’ hot! That definitely kept me reading ’til all hours of the night. ;)
On a side note, Brenna’s best friend, Lexi, is a great side kick and adds some humor to the story. Towards the end of the book she is introduced to Tucker’s friend, Spencer, and you can tell that there is an instant connection between the two. Stay tuned…

The story begins 2 weeks before her College graduation, when she heads home for the weekend and runs into Tucker for the first time in four years. He completely catches Brenna off guard.
The next thing that comes out of Tucker’s mouth strikes me speechless, which is hard to do. ”In my dreams you’re wearing nothing”
I’m standing here completely dumbstruck, mouth gaping. I am floored. Where did that come from? This is Tucker. The boy I climbed trees and rode bikes with. When did I stop being a tom boy to somebody he would want to see naked?
This had me tingling with anticipation, wondering what was going to happen next with Brenna and Tucker.
The crux of the story is Tucker’s never-ending love for Brenna, and how he tries to get Brenna to remember how much she once loved him too. Although the author sets up a back story and adds some moments of tension – with ex’s Wesley and Stacy, and a misunderstanding with Brenna’s mom – the conflict is resolved so quickly that I don’t think any of it was even necessary to add to the plot. With that said, I will tell you that the sexual chemistry between Tucker and Brenna is smokin’ hot! That definitely kept me reading ’til all hours of the night. ;)
On a side note, Brenna’s best friend, Lexi, is a great side kick and adds some humor to the story. Towards the end of the book she is introduced to Tucker’s friend, Spencer, and you can tell that there is an instant connection between the two. Stay tuned…

Remember Love is a beautiful and sweet love story of two childhood friends that were in love but never got a chance to see what would happen. Now they finally get their second chance to have the love they have thought and dreamed about all these years.
Brenna is a soon to be college graduate who is at the point in her life where she needs to decide where she will settle now that she will be looking for work after graduation, does she stay in Louisville or return home, the place she could not wait to get away from 4 years ago. Just weeks before graduation she goes back home for a weekend, she has a feeling that this weekend is going to change her and/or her plans. Who is the first person she runs into but Tucker Wade.
Tucker James is the hot blue blood country boy that stole her hear many years ago when he moved there when she was just eight. They were best friends that promised each other forever and as they became teens the friendship grew into love. But something happened and Tucker disappeared from her life and that was the end of them, until now. But Tucker is waiting for her to remember them and their love
I really loved the storyline and the love they shared. I love how deep it was and that it lasted all those years without fading but found the book jumped right into them being together within the first few pages. I would have really loved to seen some build up to it, especially after it being 8 years since they had gone their separate ways. I really enjoyed both main characters but at times would have loved to seen more emotion from them. I also would have loved a bit more drama, the few parts of drama that had so much potential but fell flat for me.
This book had a really great story for the author’s debut novel and it was really good quick read. I believe her writing does have potential and look forward to reading Spencer and Lexi’s story in the next book.

What a beautiful story about reconnecting with your first love. I read this story in one sitting. It was a quick and light-hearted read. This may have been Riley Rhea’s debut but it will certainly not be my last read from her.
The story focuses on the rediscovery of feelings. Brenna and Tucker have known each other for what seems like forever but are then separated by time and distance. When Brenna returns home for a quick visit and runs into Tucker she starts to reflect on their past and her feeling for him. Outside of the obvious attraction for him, Brenna wonders if they can recapture the past and make a future.
Tucker Wade…..hmmm well what’s not to like. I totally fell for Tucker. He was sooo in love with Brenna and my heart ached for what he endured while Brenna was with another. But his goal is to have Brenna realize that she loves him and does not push his feelings on her. He wants her to “remember” their love and childhood promises.
There are a few little twists to the story but nothing that was too devastating. The quick appearance by Tuckers ex seemed a little rushed but overall added to the story. I was falling for Tucker right along with Brenna. I was happy to see that Tucker and Brenna were going to get their happy ever after.
I will definitely be picking up Someone to Love to see what is in store for Brenna’s sassy best friend Lexi and Tucker’s friend, Shane. So do yourself a favor and grab Remember Love and celebrate the joy of true love.

I must say that I am a sucker for cute love stories! You have Brenna and Tucker, Tucker is the boy who moved next door and is a few years older than Brenna. They are best friends and Tucker grew to love Brenna, but things got in the way and Tucker pushed himself away from Brenna but still longed for her from a far. It's not until a couple of weeks before her College when Tucker and Brenna reconnect. I absolutely LOVED this story, it is a such a feel good story about reconnecting with the one person that you have truly loved for most of your life. This is one of those stories puts you in a good mood after you read it. Tucker is the hot country boy we all want and Brenna is the hot country girl that every guy wants! Such a perfect combo! LOL You have Lexi.. Brenna's neighbor and best friend in college who has you laughing the whole time she is around them! I love having those kinda friends! Tucker has Spencer he's his employee and friend who gets a liking to Lexi... but of course we can't For get Anna and John (Tucker's parents) and Carolina and Lewis( Brenna's mom and Grandpa). This book had me smiling through it all .. well except for some douchey part..lol but My Vanilla sisters you will love this book! it has it all, Love, Steamy sex (that includes shower sex!),Comedy, a douche of a guy ( can't live without those!), It's all around goodness that will melt your heart. I give it 5 stars! I recommend this to everyone (I'm also staring at you my Vanilla Sisters! ;) I can't wait for Spencer and Lexi's story next! ~Chris :)

The story telling was a mess and the copy editing errors were abundant. This read like a first draft and needed to be shaped and fleshed out. The changes in POV were often redundant. The whole bit about Brenna needing to remember was confusing. I kept waiting to find out she'd had amnesia.
Tucker was a refreshing change from the typical NA hero but didn't make sense to me. Brenna was at college only two hours from home but the story made it seem like she was across the whole country.

I read this book in one sitting as it was a very easy read. For a debut novel, it wasn't bad at all. I commend Riley Rhea for having such courage to put her words out there. The story starts off with Brenna and Tucker who are apart for several years without any contact with one another. Brenna has to come home and visit her family and during her visit, she runs into Tucker. Tucker is all hot and and sexy in this book!! He is funny, confident, smart, and steamy! I loved the way he cared for Brenna and I admire his determination to never stop loving her.
I liked Brenna but sometimes she got on my nerves. Yeah, I wanted to slap some sense into her and say, "Girl, get a clue! This hot cowboy is madly in love with you and you don't see it!!!"
The only criticism I have is the writing felt a little juvenile and inadequate at times. I also would have liked to see a bit more drama and angst. The build up was there but then once everything was out in the open, I thought, "That's it?".
Overall, I enjoyed this book and the concept was very heartwarming and so beautiful. I loved the ending and I hope Brenna and Tucker get a chance to tell more of their story. I will definitely check out the next in the series, Someone To Love.

Breanna James moved away from home to go to college. She decides to go home to visit her mom having a feeling that her life is about to change. The first person she sees on her trip home is Tucker, her best friend from her childhood. As Tucker and Breanna reconnect, the memories come back, the love they had returns, and Tucker hopes this will lead to the life he has always wanted. A life with Breanna.
I fell in love with Tucker from the very first meeting. I knew he was the guy that every girl dreamed about, and Breanna had him. The connection between Breanna and Tucker was immediate, strong, and undeniable. As a reader you had to be cheering for their happy ending, knowing they were true soulmates. There are a ton of moments in this book that I put it down, just briefly, to go Ahhh… or to get a drink of cold water to cool down from a steamy scene. I especially recommend the shower scenes, read them a couple times.
This is a book that I smiled while reading from the very beginning and now that I am done I am still smiling. I cannot wait to learn more about Spencer and Lexi in book two of this series. I am sure before that book is released I will be coming back to read this one over again.
As I am sure you have figured out I highly recommend this book to all my hot and sexy book lovers.

What can I say about this book that would do it the justice that it deserves. This book is about allowing the person that you love more than life itself the time, space and freedom to "Remember Love". This book moved me, it made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me believe that love never ends. Allow me to tell you a little about this AMAZING book.
This is the story of Tucker and Brenna. They have been best friends forever and then they weren't anymore and Brenna never understood why. Now she is finishing up with school and returning home to try to figure out what to do with her life, what she didn't count on was running into Tucker again.
Tucker has loved Brenna since the moment he laid eyes on her, but knowing that she was younger than he is, he decided to wait until the time was right. But Tucker waited too long and thought that he might have lost his chance with Brenna, until she shows up again. Now all he needs to do is give her time and help her remember the love that they shared and the promises that they made before she went away.
This is one of the sweetest, most amazing stories that I have had a chance to read in a very long time. For a first time author, Riley Rhea hit this one out of the park. I look forward to many more stories from this amazing author.

This was such a sweet and romantic story. I loved the flashbacks of Brenna remembering her past with Tucker. Due to some meddlesome people (some with good intensions and some with not so good intensions) they loose each other for 8 years but things change just as Brenna is about to graduate from College. This was an engaging story and had my attention from the very beginning.
Tucker and Brenna are so cute together. Tucker is not only a hot muscled mechanic but he’s also sweet and protective of Brenna. Brenna is a great person with caring personality but also can be really feisty when she wants to be. They also have a great support group from their family to their best friends. I loved all of them. They had personality and had me laughing plenty of times.
The characters were wonderful and the storyline was well written. Their romance seemed to move really quickly until I took into consideration how long they’ve known each other. I flew through this story and couldn’t put it down until I finished. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Great job and a 5 out of 5 stars!

This is a love story by a great new author. I look forward to reading the next story - Lexi and Spencer. Oh I love Lexi too bits in this tale. She is a funny, unfiltered nut. She is definitely going to be fun to imagine. Good Luck Ms. Rhea.
I really enjoyed the book. Tucker who has loved Brenna all her life finally makes his move after Brenna graduates from university. The story is a retelling of how they fell in love when they were just kids and the bumps along the road. There is a villian - Westley. I am not sure why Westley does his evil bidding that is not explained and I am curious how someone could just be so mean. There must have been some intent. I guess it could have been jealousy but.....

Remember Love by Riley Rhea was for me a surprising great book. I worried reading synopsis it was going to be something that didn't interest me but the opposite happened. I wanted more, i wanted to divulge more into the story of Brenna and Tucker. I really have nothing i can complain about in the story. The characters are well developed with the right amount of flash backs that you get the base relationship of both characters without it being to much history. Rhea has the best combination of past and present. Brenna and Tucker has a true love story, not one that last two months but decades of happy memories and heart breaking loss. The only thing i wanted was a more developed story of Wes, Stacy makes sense to me but Wes motivation seems extreme.
I truly loved this story, and its one i will have no problem re-reading over and over again.

Love me some Tucker, country boy!!!
I really enjoyed this book! I think it is a great debut novel from Riley Rhea!
This is the story of Tucker and Brenna...friends since childhood who drift apart due to circumstances beyond their control. Luckily, they find each other again and things just heat up and get better from there! Brenna is a tough, doesn't take any crap, loyal, gorgeous girl who doesn't trust easily and guards her heart. Tucker is a smokin' hot, alpha male country boy who goes after what he wants and he wants Brenna! These two will fog up the screen on your Kindle with their chemistry. If you like a nice love story with a HEA and no cliffy, then this is the book for you!
I highly recommend it and can't wait for the next installment with Lexi's (Brenna's hilarious BFF) story!

First, I want to thank Riley for providing a copy of this book to read for an honest review. This book was such a breath of fresh air. Brenna and Tucker are great lead characters and Lexi, who is Brenna's best friend is hilarious. Very well written and such a sweet story. Great job Riley, capturing my attention from the very beginning and all the way through the last page. Can't wait to read Lexi and Spencer's story. I have a feeling it will be just as great with probably a few more laughs! This book will be one I read whenever I need to just feel good. Definitely recommend reading!! I give this book 5 AMAZEBALLS stars!!

Remember Love is an adorable, sweet and beautiful second chance love story.
This story hooked me up and enraptured me from the very beginning and stayed like that during the entire reading.
I simply couldn´t find one thing that was wrong with this story. Because there was nothing wrong.
Lovely story that was very well written and that I highly recommend.
Can´t wait to read Someone to Love, Spencer and Lexi´s story.

I actually liked the premise behind this story but the chain of events actually kind of bothered me. The whole book/relationship happened in 5 weeks and decisions they made, straight out of college just bothered me. The love story was beautiful and the friendships amazing, I just wish the author hadn't been so eager to have them make grown up decisions in such a short time.

Just finished this book and OMG!!!! I loved it!! It was such a great, sweet story. I loved Tucker and Brenna and I am so glad they finally got their HEA!! The ending was just to sweet!!
