A lifetime devotee to the written word, Sophie published her first novel this year. Prior to becoming a novelist, she worked in theater and comic books. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and three precocious children, who wonder when mom is going to write a book they will be allowed to read. Her answer: probably never. Sophie believes in happy endings for everyone, no matter how extreme the story. Her stories may feature some of the fringe elements of sexuality, but at heart they are always about love.

Sirens in Bliss was a look into several couples lives from both the Nights in Bliss series and a few couples from the Texas Sirens. Actually, couples is not an accurate term. Almost all of these couples were menage relationships.

I have not read the Texas Sirens series and I don't feel that you have to in able to enjoy this book. I may not have known some of these characters but it didn't keep me from enjoying learning about them. It also has me more interested in reading the Texas Sirens series after getting to know some of these characters.

The best message you get with this book is that even though a book ends with a happily ever after, there is still more to the story. You still have to work in a relationship to keep it growing and you will stumble a time or two. It's how you handle that stumble that can make your relationship stronger.

These characters have been so much fun to get to know and I love how much everyone in the town of Bliss look out for each other. They truly behave like one big family. They may be crazy, or annoying but they are also a gift to be appreciated. I loved that feeling you get when reading a book or series with this type of setting. I'm looking forward to more in the town of Bliss.

This is a proper ensemble book, meaning no new major characters are introduced or relationships formed; instead, the characters from two of Blake's ménage series come together in Bliss for Shelley, Leo, and Wolf's wedding.

Honestly, this book is adorable. Unlike the others you can't pick it up straight off without reading earlier books, since it just drops straight you in. But it's a lovely tribute to some much-loved characters.

This was book 10 in the "Nights in Bliss, Colorado" series. This was Texas Sirens meet Bliss Leo and Wolf Meyer are marrying Shelley who is the little sister of Trev. Leo and Wolf are the stepson's of Mel their mother is Cassidy they are both crazy alien nuts. This book was so funny they let Mel plan the bachelor party and Ben Dawson got drunk after drinking Mel's tonic. This book also deals with a few of the couple's Rafe, Cam and Laura adopted a baby but Rafe is having trouble finding a job in Bliss and to make matters worse he has been disowned by his mother. Stef and Jen are about to have a baby and Stef is not handling it to well he is scared that something will happen to her so he hasn't touched her in months. She inlist Max and Rye to help her it was so funny what they did to him with the help of Caleb and Alexei. Then there is Aiden, Lucas and Lexie she is working a lot and hiding something from her guys she is on the phone so much that her little sister Olivia takes matters into her own hands with the help of the Farley brothers. This was a really good read one that I have waited awhile to read. The sex scenes were hot with all the couple's getting hot and heavy. Rafe gets a new job in Bliss that he didn't see coming. When the mayor of Bliss dies. Also Leo comes face to face with his abusive father who tries to blackmail him and when Robert Meyer tries the same thing with Shelley only she takes a shot at him with Rachel's gun which causes him to wet his pants it was funny. This was a good read that I really enjoyed. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Maybe having to get through the books in both series before getting to this one hyped it up too much for me. Loved that everything took place in Bliss, love how everyone fit together, and I loved how the book ended =]

It was easy for me to see how the couples highlighted would be the ones to have issues because they were literally my least favorites in the series so i was happy that made sense. The sweet moment and the building story line helped me stick it out. For once I wasn’t excited for the make up scenes because ughh why did y’all get so far down the rabbit hole in the first place!!

Sooo excited about how the next generation is shaping up too!! Those Farley boys so deserve their own books already!

And Kitten you are 100% a perfect fit in Bliss! Looking forward to reading about your journey!

Most of the books in the Nights in Bliss and Texas Sirens series work completely standalone so while you'll appreciate them more if you're familiar with the side characters you don't need to have read previous books to enjoy then. Sirens in Bliss is different because this really is an homage to all the books that have come before and it ties the two series together as Wolf, Leo and Shelley return to their hometown Bliss to get married and bring all their friends from Texas home with them. There's always been some crossover between the two series but here we get to see nearly all of our favourite characters from both together for the first time and it leads to all sorts of hilarious conversations.

While this book is ostensibly about Wolf, Leo, Shelley and their upcoming wedding it's also a chance to check in with previous couples & thruples at important points in their lives. Stefan is panicking at the impending birth of his first child and absolutely terrified that something terrible will happen to Jen. Rafe is struggling to settle in Bliss and has been offered the opportunity of a new job but it would mean convincing Cam and Laura to move to Miami with him. Then you have Aidan, Lexi and Lucas who are pulling away from each other at a time they need each other the most. Obviously we see lots of other characters in the background too but these are the main focuses of the story.

What I loved most is that we're getting to see Wolf, Leo and Shelley take the next big step in their relationship but at the same time we're reminded that a wedding isn't an automatic happily ever after. All relationships will be tested at some point, people all bring their own baggage to the table and everyone has to work hard at keeping their love alive. The important thing isn't to have a perfect life, it's being willing to put the work in to make the relationship a success.

Sirens in Bliss has all the humour of the previous books as well as all the heart. It's all about the importance of families, yes the one you're born to but sometimes even more importantly the one you choose for yourself. Friendship plays a huge role in this series and I love how each of the characters supports everyone else.

5 STARS

This entry by Sophie Oak is a gift to her fans, bringing together characters from two of her series: Sirens and Bliss, and catching her readers up on what is happening to their favorites.

The catalyst for this arrangement is the marriage of Leo and Wolf Meyer to their sub, Shelley McNamara, and they go to Bliss so their mother can be part of the marriage ceremony. But in true Bliss style, Mama Cassidy won’t take part in the ceremony unless her new daughter-in-law drinks beet juice to prove she’s not an alien. In the meantime, Lexi’s book career is threatening her marriage, Stef Talbot is facing the fear of becoming a father, Rafe Kincaid faces a crisis regarding his career and Bliss loses its long time Mayor, Hiram. The episode with Hiram is one of the funniest pieces of literature ever. The whole book will keep you laughing as the disparate members of the two series cobble together to form their own families and communities in their own unique ways.

Filled with humor, pathos, and with just a touch of suspense, the book will make you laugh, cry and keep turning the pages. While it is a standalone, it really should be read as part of the series, rather than coming up on it without the background of the other books. It helps to know why the characters act as they do.

However, as a staunch fan of the Bliss and Siren books, I loved the gift from someone who has become one of my favorite writers with her quirky sense of humor, emphasis on family-and don’t forget the hot sex, which ranges from vanilla, to menage, to BDSM.

Reunited and it feels so good…

I couldn’t help but put these song lyrics on repeat as I headed back to Bliss, Colorado, and reconnected with many of the triads and D/s main characters Sophie Oak has introduced her readers to since the onset of her two series, Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss.

And because this is a reunion story of sorts, Oak pulls out all the stops…sending the small town of Bliss into an uproar like only its citizens can do, and while everyone gathers for the wedding of the century, what readers get throughout the pages of Sirens in Bliss is a cornucopia of struggles, drama, sexy times, and heartfelt discussions that truly capture the human spirit in all its chaotic and extraordinary glory: the highs and lows, ups and downs, everything and anything that a couple or a triad union go through to contend with their pasts and presents in order to have the future they all want with one another.

Devoted readers of both series will revel in catching up with their favorite characters and experiencing what they’ve come to expect from these heroes and heroines and in true Oak fashion, there are discoveries, revelations, steamy encounters, and a few surprises written into the plot to keep characters and readers on their toes until the very last page.

I have loved both the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series since first being introduced. Lexi Blake writing as Sophie Oak has a great writing style that just pulls you into the story. Once I start reading I don't want to stop. But this book was truly amazing.

I loved the way so many of my favorite characters were brought together in what has easily become one of my favorite fictional towns. I loved the way this was told so as to really give you several different stories in one. I always like to revisit with characters from previous books I've loved and get a little taste of what their lives have been like. Even when they're going through some struggles, I like to see them renew their commitment to each other. And this author knows how to write some great make up scenes.

I also got to learn more about characters who've mostly been secondary but very important characters to the series. In the end I just loved this book and am so happy there is more to come.

This book, a crossover between Oak's Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado series, is unlikely to make much sense to anyone who isn't familiar with both series. It's essentially an epilogue to both, using the wedding of Shelly, Wolf, and Leo as a catalyst to bring all of these characters together. Various relationships are dealing with personal and career stress and children are growing up but the town of Bliss is as wacky as ever. If you care about the characters, this book is a lovely addition to both series. If you don't, you'll just be stuck wondering why there are so many threesomes and what's the deal with aliens and beets.

You are cordially invited to the wedding of Leo & Wolf Meyer to Shelley McNamara which will be held in Bliss, Colorado. RSVP not required. Those who THINK they might want to crash the wedding had better be prepared as this town hasn't achieved the "highest per capita murder rate in the state" ranking for nothing.

It's been rumored that the town's benefactor has beefed up security as his wife Jennifer is about to give birth to their first child while visiting billionaire Julian Lodge and his family have their own way of dealing with being tourists in the town. And lest you think all the confusion going on will make it easy to blend in, the resident alien experts Mel & Cassidy are on full alert to make sure no alien abductions occur on their watch. All this while Mayor Hiram Jones seems to have deserted his post and the girls in the "I shot a son of a b*tch" club are about to initiate a new member to the club.

This is a book that only a fan of "Nights In Bliss, Colorado" & "Texas Sirens" can appreciate. It is not possible for anyone who isn't familiar with these series to follow or understand. Consider yourself warned.

For those of us who HAVE followed these series this is a type of reunion book bringing all our favorite triads and couples together for the wedding of one of their own. The first half of this book are quickie looks at each of the triads and couples leading up to the actual wedding. Each is having some sort of issue and we're given brief glimpses into those problems and the ongoing way each is handled. I do have to admit that while these were necessary I didn't like the way it was presented. I started to experience one of the triads only to be ripped away to experience another and so forth. Too much to process and keep track of. Not being an author myself I'm not sure how it could have been worked differently so my opinion may not be shared by others.

About the time all of the characters meet up and start interacting is when I truly was able to sit back and enjoy myself. I guess each of us will choose which part was the best depending on who their own personal favorites are but there's something there for everyone. Yes, my favorites Caleb and Alexi are back with Caleb as personable as ever but there's a close second for everyone else as they were all terrific. My favorite scene in the entire book (with the exception of the wedding of course) HAD to be the sweat lodge. Laugh out loud funny moment in the book !!!!!!! The story does culminate in the wedding and a climatic scene (sorry, no spoiler info) that brought tears to my eyes. Truly a special moment which was conveyed very very well in written form.

I did catch one boo boo which I'm kind of proud of myself for catching. Sorry, spoiler alert info but what I can say is that caucasian babies are normally born with steel or blue eyes. Just sayin.

Bravo to the author and thank you for bringing the gang home. I love this mythical town and if I could find it's real life inspiration I'd surely look into moving there myself before Lucy's book comes out and more men disappear from the market.

The adoration that I feel for Sophie Oak and her work continues to grow with each new release. I absolutely loved loved loved Sirens In Bliss. I was so happy to return to Bliss and read about all of my favorite characters from both the Siren Series and Bliss Series with all the fun, laughter, tears, love and craziness that I have come to expect from Sophie Oak. So good!!

Jenn and Stef ~ one of my favorite couples. It was so much fun to read Stef struggle with Jenn’s pregnancy and his impending fatherhood. He was so afraid of losing her and not being a good enough father for his son. Poor Stef. He had forgotten all about being Jenn’s Dom and what she needed from him. And Jenn..fearing that Stef didn’t want to be with her anymore. I loved that she finally took matters into her own hands and forced Stef to open his eyes to what he had been doing. How she went about it was hysterical!! I loved the way she tried to reassure him that he would be a great father. Such a good story. I loved reading how Stef truly felt about Jenn ~ I just love this couple. I cannot wait to read how he gets back at Max, Ryan, Caleb and Alexi. lol

Aidan, Lucas and Lexi ~ Wow...they were just falling apart. Lexi working too much and keeping a secret from Aidan and Lucas, Lucas feeling left out of the relationship and alone and Aidan trying to hold everything together by keeping his own secrets and trying to do everything himself and not letting Lexi or Lucas help him. Communication was definitely lacking for this trio. But in the end they worked it out in the hottest way possible. lol ;) And that shower part with Lucas and Aidan ~ definitely steamy!!!

Rafe, Laura and Cam ~ Rafe was the problem for this trio in him wanting to accept a job that would take them all away from Bliss and hiding it from them. You just knew when it finally came out it would not be good. I loved the outcome of the situation that offered Rafe exactly what he needed. I can’t wait to see how this plays out in future books.

Max, Rachel and Ryan ~ another favorite trio for me. They are so funny and crazy all on their own. They had me laughing at their antics through most of the book.

Leo, Wolf and Shelley ~ The struggles they faced in the remaining days till their wedding. So funny!! The whole beet thing just cracked me up. The gathering for Wolf and Leo held by Mel was another hysterical part. And how could I leave out the trio getting down and dirty in the storage closet!! The wedding was so sweet. I am so looking forward to when this trio finally has kids.

Another great addition by Sophie Oak that just has me wanting more and more.

5 out of 5 rating.

SIB - AN

Everyone's in town for the wedding of the year, but it's not all happy celebrations, as the couples are all suffering emotionally in one way or another.

Stef is afraid he's going to lose his wife during childbirth, and he's been seriously lacking in his Dom skills. Will Jennifer get him to come around or is she going to lose him before she even gives birth?

I really felt for Stef, but I felt for Jennifer, too, as she didn't know if he was still attracted to her or if he even wanted their baby. A little heartbreaking this one was.

Lexi is distant and neither Aidan or Lucas knows what to do about it. Lucas is feeling ignored by both his loves and none of the three are on the same page - physically or emotionally. Will they ever sit down and just communicate?

Of all the troubled relationships, Lexi, Lucas and Aidan frustrated me the most. These three needed to just talk to each other!! If any of them had done that earlier, all the angst and hurt feelings never would have happened. Sheesh...

Leo and Wolf are having to deal with their bio father being in the picture and what his reappearance means to their lives. And there's the little fact that their mom is driving their soon to be bride nuts with the beets!

Probably my favorite of all the relationships here. Funny and sweet with an underlying note of the blues.

Rafe isn't that happy in Bliss. A new job offer just may help with that, but it would mean taking them all away. If only he'd talk to them!!

I wasn't that fond of this partnership but it felt authentic like all the others did.

All in all, this reunion story is one of the best light BDSM romances I've read in a long time. I love the Bliss series and have enjoyed reading the revised versions of all the stories.

: SIRENS IN BLISS is the tenth instalment in Lexi Blake’s (aka Sophie Oak) contemporary, adult NIGHTS IN BLISS and instalment 7.5 in the Texas Sirens erotic, ménage, D/s romance series focusing on the men and women who live in Bliss, Colorado.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, some scenes may not be suitable for more sensitive readers including spanking, M/M, M/M/F and M/F/M sexual scenarios.

SIRENS IN BLISS is the re-release of the 2013 novel written as Sophie Oak with additional content.

Told from several third person perspectives SIRENS IN BLISS is an ensemble story line wherein most of the previous characters, from the Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado series, have gathered together to celebrate the union of Doms Leo and Wolf Meyer, to their sub Shelley McNamara but all is not well in the lives of the happily ever afters, and Lexi Blake brings the reader up close and personal as secrets, lies, fear, issues of trust, passion and the past force lovers, Doms and subs to re-evaluate the direction of their lives, going forward.

SIRENS IN BLISS follows Leo and Wolf as their past is determined to destroy their lives. From their ‘eccentric’ mother, to their absentee father Leo and Wolf are determined to protect the woman they love from the dysfunctional dynamics they once called a family.

Meanwhile Stefan Talbot struggles with his wife’s impending childbirth, threatening his relationship going forward: Aidan, Lucas and Lexi’s relationship begins to crumble as Lexi pushes away the men that she loves; and Abby Barnes-Fleetwood has a crisis of faith when issues of self-esteem force her to revisit what was and what will be.

SIRENS IN BLISS is an erotic tale focusing on the D/s relationships and love; on issues of commitment and a lack of confidence. Ghost from the past continue to haunt the lives of those we have met before yet some ghosts remain a living reminder of the h*ll they have all had to endure. The premise is entertaining and thought provoking; the romances struggle in the face of doubt, anger, secrets and heartache; the characters are familiar, colorful, rebellious and impassioned.

Hail Hail the gangs all here! Come one Come all to the Feed Store Church for the Wedding of Wedding of Leo & Wolf Meyer to their Bride Shelley McNamara....but Aliens are NOT invited ;)

Wolf returns home to Bliss Colorado with his brother Leo for their wedding to Shelly and they bring their Texas friends along for the festivities. This was a great way to catch up on everyone in the town of Bliss as well as their friends from Texas. I will admit I haven't been reading the Texas Sirens Series but I do plan on changing that very soon, especially with getting to know a little more about the couples in this book I really want to know how each of them got their HEA's.

Pardon my smirk, but as I write this review I can’t help but think about some of the crazy antics that happened in Sirens in Bliss.

Let’s start with Shelley, Leo and Wolf and what’s supposed to be their dream wedding—one involving friends and family. And the calamities that ensue—sweat lodge, beet ceremony, long lost relations suddenly reappearing...

Shelley, Leo and Wolf want to get to the next step—married life and their happily ever after. But along the way, they’re discovering that perhaps they’re not all walking the same path. They’re discovering that perhaps they’ve been hiding some deep fears that they should have discussed long ago.

And speaking of fears. Stephan, damn buddy. Women have babies every day. It’s natural. It’s safe most of the time. Nope, it’s not something you can control, but you can control how you let your fears live your life. But don’t worry, Jen will be topping you from the bottom soon—just make sure you’re man enough, Dom enough to handle it.

And then there’s Lexi, Aiden and Lucas. They’re all feeling a bit lost. Definitely a bit lonely. Forgotten. And they’re all madder than a hornet. But they’re not talking. They’re not communicating. And what’s the single most important aspect of a D/s relationship? Yep, open, honest communication. Time for Aiden to Dom up and take control and pass out some disciplinary swats. Lexi and Lucas need him more than ever.

So hang on to your hats while some of your favorites from Bliss and Texas come together to celebrate Shelley, Leo and Wolf. Sirens in Bliss is a fun, sexy, smart, romantic reunion and I couldn’t put it down. ~ Missy, 5 stars

5 Star Review Sirens In Bliss (Nights in Bliss, Colorado #10) by Sophie Oak

This is a reunion story, so definitely not a stand alone. It is also my favourite in the series so far. Primarily because we get to catch up on so many of our favourite couples in Bliss as we come together to celebrate the wedding of
Leo and Wolf Meyer to Shelley McNamara.

Ms. Oak gives us an update on numerous couples from Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado, what is currently happening in their relationships and what happens after the happily ever after. Not everyone is happy within their relationships and miss communication is rife with numerous couples.

There were times when I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry reading Sirens In Bliss as it was obvious that there was stress and unhappiness with some of our favourite couples.

I also worried that Leo, Wolf and Shelley might not make it to the altar and get the happily ever after that they all so richly deserved.

With the sudden re appearance of Leo and Wolf’s estranged father, Shelley refusing to take the beat and a lack of communication regarding having children, things are about to get complicated.

I particularly enjoyed the “humanization” of Stefan Talbot as he gets closer to becoming a father. The in charge Dom seems to have lost his way and I loved Jennifer’s solution to help bring back his focus.

I love Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing; to me these characters are like coming home to family and friends and this book gave me so many feels. I was riveted from start to finish, Sirens In Bliss was one of those reads I could not put down.

Sirens in Bliss might be listed as book 7.5 in the Texas Sirens #7.5, but it's a crossover between Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss, Colorado. Both series as you probably know are written by Lexi Blake. It probably is the only non stand-alone book in both series. The story is told from multiple point of views and all of them are from characters whose stories we have read before. This is a reunion book and no new couples appear

I love the book for many reasons. The main one was the angst which is something that I don't usually find in books. All of the characters seem to have gotten their perfect endings, but in this book, we see that not all things are perfect and that our characters are flawed humans. I believe this is the book we have gotten the more in-depth analysis of our characters and I loved that too. It had some comedic moments and it had some heartbreaking too. There was a roller coaster of emotions going on and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I am in love with the book and personally I find it one of Lexi Blake's best. There was a perfect balance of angst and comedy and love and mischief. The ending was perfect.

So get ready for the emotional rollercoaster ride that will have you wondering what will happen next. It's hilarious at moments, touching in the next. Get ready to have tissues at the ready. When these two towns get together, all bets are off and anything can happen. I enjoyed the characters growth, the feels, chemistry, humor... the lively ways the characters did things that will make you- as it did me- laugh. I just enjoyed reading this and can't wait for more in both series.

Sirens in Bliss is the series mashup/extended epilogue of my dreams! I LOVED seeing so many characters from the Bliss and Sirens series come together and interact, as well as catching up with them and their children - now I sincerely hope that we're going to get books about the next generation and it can start with Olivia and the Farley twins! I'm well aware of Lexi Blake's ability to have me in tears at some point during her books, but I was beyond moved by the underlying message of Sirens in Bliss and was full on sobbing by the time Lexi gave her wedding speech. The idea that family is a choice that goes far deeper than blood and the real meaning of love (and sanity) and how it can look different from the outside - it was just beautiful. It was also refreshing seeing these couples deal with internal issues as opposed to the more violent external ones that we've become accustomed to in these series. Now I need to know what's going to happen with Nell and Henry ASAP and I'm hoping to see a Masters of Menage crossover real soon! 5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Well this Bliss book had everything... from weddings and babies being born to bachelor parties held at nudist camps with sweat lodges, to a new member of the "I shot a son-of-a -bitch club" to small town politics leading to a coup de tat... omg I laughed my ass off at that!!! And lets not forget about the drama and the aliens coming to a beeting ceremony... All in a day in the town of Bliss.
This was the ultimate in combining the Siren and Bliss series and Julian Lodge was... well Julian. Utterly dominant and sarcasticly dry.. basically funny as shit. And Jack Barnes... (thank you Sophie for that last chapter).
There was tons of drama (Aidan, Lexi and Lucas).. comedy galore.. (Rafe and the merry band of the city council), tons of smut... (can we say everyone) Aliens and beets (Mel and Cassidy) and just a hint of trouble in paradise for our favorite activist. There is definitely more trouble brewing in Bliss and I can't wait for more!!!

This has got to be one of the best of the Bliss & Texas Sirens stories as we get to meet up again with most of the Couples and Trios that we have met in both of the series.

We have returned to Bliss for the wedding of Leo, Wolf and Shelley and along the way we also get a glimpse into the lives of Stef & Jen (who is about to give birth), Cam, Laura and Rafe (who is finding it difficult to find his place in Bliss), and Aiden, Lucas and Lexi (who seems to be spending more time on her career than with her husbands).

As one character states,

I know we place a lot of emphasis on weddings, but that’s not the end of the story. It’s just the beginning. The rest might not be as pretty, but that’s life.”

And here we see that for some of these partnerships, the road is not a smooth one, and at times is heart wrenching.

I loved how the groups gelled together getting to know, support and at times, advise each other. And oh, to be a fly on the wall when some of next generation come into their own.

Julian frowned as he turned toward the table where everyone was eating breakfast.

“Jackson, your son is attempting to feed my daughter. He has got to stop that. I am told that Chase has been talking to Joshua about certain historical handfasting rituals and how he can secure himself a bride in this fashion.”

I really do hope we that we see future stories about the offspring of the MM, Bliss and Siren characters

And OMG – the freezer. But there were emotional sections too, where my eyes had difficulty reading the words on the page.

This book had everything.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book, given by the author.

https://thesecretworldofbooklovers.bl...

I don’t have any clue how to review this book, I was so excited to read about all my favorite couples, so much love and craziness.

For a moment I felt melancholic, we have lived with these characters for what is seems like forever, we have seen their love and families grow, and we have been with them while they fought for their lives.

Bliss has become such a happy place where I love escaping to. Where true love finds a way, where strong men love their women, sometimes as a team 😉 and where the strongest women find their ultimate power to destroy their enemies… Home.

Seeing all of them together and getting to read about my favorite couples was priceless. All time fave the Originals Jack, Sam and Abby and crazy Max and Rye and the sweet Rachel. I still remember reading about them for the first time, such intensity, it made me want to go back to those books and meet them all over again.

The author has achieved the ultimate writer’s dream, I am invested in these characters, I cry with them and I feel their happiness, and I’m sure I will be unhappy once it’s over.
She gave us such lovable characters, that we couldn’t help it.

Back to this book, it wouldn’t be Bliss without some drama, and trust me… there’s enough!

Marriage trouble, self-steam age related issues, and the past knocking on their doors… nothing a good Dom can’t fix. And we sure have enough of those there!

When the worlds of the Texas Sirens and Bliss, Colorado, come together and make a baby, what do you get? SIRENS IN BLISS, the re-released reunion story from author Lexi Blake, writing as Sophie Oak. And what a reunion it is. Characters that we've come to know and love are gathered to celebrate another happily ever after Bliss style, and it's wonderful to see how everyone is doing.

I was a bit late to the game with some of the back stories, so am not familiar with everyone, but that doesn't dull the sparkle of this book at all. There is plenty of passion, definite moments of angst (the best books always have them!), and all of the quirkiness that we've come to expect from these characters.

This book could only have come from the heart and soul of Lexi Blake, who has written about all of these folks with so much love over the course of the two series. I do suggest having a familiarity with both the Texas Sirens and the Nights In Bliss, CO, series, so that you're not wondering where in the world you've landed while you're reading. But, for fans of these worlds, this book is a great stop in the journey, and I can't wait to see what's coming next. ❤️

Wedding bells are ringing for Leo, Shelley and Wolf which brings everyone back home to Bliss for the celebration. This is not a standalone and gives readers an opportunity to see how the couples from the previous books are faring. The bottom line is that marriage takes work and communication. Each of the couples is struggling with some aspect of their relationship be it a needed new job, how to deal with the changes that children can bring to the family dynamic or how to feel important to your spouse after the years pass. Ms. Blake has done a deep dive into the complex feelings of her characters to portray one of the reasons to fall in love with her books. As readers have come to know this quirky little spot of heaven, it is filled with drama, the family that one decides to call his/her own and the obstacles that they face along with a whole lot of love. This is probably my favorite as it combines the best of everything into one storyline and I look forward to reading more about these couples and their children.

Love the wedding invite that we get right at the beginning of the book. I loved the snippets of images of things here and there as I read. The first chapter is a hoot to read. What mischief do we find Olivia getting herself into? Where is she? Love the housekeeper! What do we learn from the Doms as Jen is talking with them about herself? What note is left for Cam by Nate? I loved how this story bounced around between each of our lovely Bliss trios. It was a very interesting and informative read! I tried so hard not to cry for Jen and failed. You have to read and see why. The question with this book is... "Will everyone get their HEA in this story?" I can't wait to read the next story in the series. Lexi Blake keeps astounding me with her series' and how they intertwine with one another at times. It really keeps things interesting!

Find out what happened with Stef and Jennifer, Rafe, Laura, and Cam, Lexi, Aiden, and Lucas as they all come together for Shelley, Wolf and Leo's wedding. Jennifer is expecting a baby anytime but Stef is panicking because he's afraid he'll lose Jen. Rafe is feeling lost because he has no job but gets an offer for one in Miami. Lexi is writing and not spending anytime with Aiden and Lucas. All are hiding a secret but will it cause them to lose the people they love?
Ms. Blake brings back many of her characters in this story. Funny, sad, and very hot. I hope this makes sense, if not I'm sorry. Too fully understand who everyone is, it's best to read the others.

Another Trip To Bliss.

Family and friends gather in Bliss for the wedding of Leo, Shelley and Wolf. There is lots going on and you’re going to love this book. I always have to explain “it’s the book I’m reading” when family finds me laughing and snickering when I go to Bliss. Some book highlights some of the problems our couples are having showing the journey is just starting when people say “I do”. We have a billionaire scared for his pregnant wife, a romance writer with no time for her husbands, beets, a naked man party, a disgusting sperm donor tries blackmail, alien prevention, the doctor gets to tranq someone, lots of steamy hot scenes, a dead mayor, a plot to replace him, a birth, Doms galore and a wedding.
