Book: Pretty Face Vol. 4

Now, I will say that the plot felt like it was getting somewhere in this volume. I am a bit worried about some of the doors this volume opened up because there are just a few volumes left. However, I am very curious to see where the author takes this series.
I am going to try to keep my review as spoiler-free as possible, but since this is the fourth volume in a series, there may be spoilers for earlier volumes.
After suffering severe facial injuries in a bus accident, Rando Masashi awakens to a surprise: his reconstructive surgery has left him with the face of Rina Kurimi, the girl he secretly admires. Forced to navigate life with a completely new appearance, Rando finds himself caught in a series of awkward, comedic, and increasingly complicated situations.
This volume is about a quest to find the real Rina and the drama that goes along with that. Things don’t go as planned, and it ends up being a bit ridiculous. It’s not a bad ridiculousness, but the teenage nature of this series is over the top. That is why I keep coming back to these books. It’s just something that you have to do with. Now, things don’t work out the way Rando had planned, and he keeps finding himself in rather unfortunate situations. Life keeps getting more and more complicated for him. Now, though, it is to the point that he is worried and is probably going to have to do something about it.
Now, I keep calling this series ridiculous, yet I keep rating it pretty highly. That is because I am finding myself having a lot of fun with it. No, none of this could and will probably happen in real life. The way it is presented does allow for an escape and does just ensure a fun time. Sometimes you just need a story like this in your life.
Overall, I am still really enjoying this series. I will more than likely see it through until the end.

Is Rando's secret finally out? Will the doctor finally let him go back to being himself? I guess I'll find out in the next volume.

Well, they went looking for Yuna in this volume but only found juvenile silliness. I don't think the author is capable of writing a good story.
