Is it coincidence or fate that brings Justin Garrison and Lauren Evans together on the same dark, country road one May night?
Twenty-five year old Justin quit his job on an oilrig in California and traveled back to his hometown of Masonville, Tennessee. He intended for his vacation in Masonville to be a pit stop on his path to creating a future elsewhere, but an encounter with the beautiful and independent Lauren Evans turns Justin’s future plans upside down.
After a devastating betrayal by her father, twenty-one year old Lauren is left to manage her family’s garden and nursery business in Masonville. Although guarded from the betrayal, she still longs to find love. After a few chance encounters, Justin and Lauren are unable to resist each other.
The magnetic attraction between them opens their worlds to an enthralling period of lust and passion. Will the intensity be too much for them to trust, or will a secret Justin’s family holds about Lauren destroy their chance at a future together?

I only wished it was lobger, and we could of gotten the details of two very important events.I have not found a book yet that I've not loved by Scarlet. I can't wait to read Brett's book. This is the first in the soul mates series. I love every book in this series but there is a soft place for these characters. I like being able to get both sides of the story since it is not writting from one point of view.Read this book and you will want to read the rest

A Week for Love to Bloom, 2nd Edition (Soul Mates 101 series, Book 1) Every person has love of books and This Book Truly captivated me and wrapped me up tight in the story. Justin was simply sexy in every way I could imagine and his way with words truly hypnosis's you. This started off With Lauren picking up a Justin even know he wasn't looking for a ride. Instantly they have combustible chemistry.
Lauren has been running her parents Nursery since her dad left her mom. Lauren's character was so strong and beautiful that she really made you like her. Then something happens which causes me to feel frustrated by her rejecting Justin. How do you deny a love that is meant to be.?
Justin was trying to hard to make Lauren realize he was in to her for life. And then His family betrays her and she pushes him away. I was so sad for Justin that it was upsetting to watch him being rejected by the only woman he has ever loved. So The question is Will Lauren & Justin end up together? This book offered tons of romance, betrayal, heart ache, and sizzling sexy scenes.
It even showed Justin had a alpha side which was super hot! If you haven't read any of Scarlet's books. Then you should start now. They always keep you on your edge of the seat and wanting more. Her One Urge Series was seriously hot. And Now this being able to read the Soul-Mate series. Wow!!

Another Amazon Freebie! This one was better than I expected and without reading either the synopsis or any reviews I figured from the cover alone that I was going to be reading a story laced with tons of sex and very little plot. However, I was wrong!

Lauren and Justin meet on a stretch of road when she decides to be defiant and pick up a hitchhiker... Things slowly progress from there and of course, there is a happy ending!!! it was a great read, though I was left with questions, as there wasn't much description, though I did get a few answers!

This is the first book that I have read by Scarlet Wolfe and I was definitely not disappointed. Lauren was a strong girl, but was being pulled in two different directions and she just couldn't stand it anymore. Justin was so swoon worthy!! He was tired of being pressured about his future, and on one fateful night they meet. Sparks fly and they start a relationship. You would think that their relationship would be easy but it's not. There are secrets between them and in the end, can their love for each other survive them? You'll have to read to find out!!!! Fantastic job Scarlet Wolfe!!

A Week for Love to Bloom (Soul Mates 101 #1) 2nd Edition by Scarlet Wolfe

I received a complimentary ARC in exchange for an honest review.

At the young age of 21 Lauren has been given a hefty responsibility. After her Father left her Mother for a younger woman, Lauren is forced to run the family gardening business that her Grandparents worked so hard to build. This leaves Lauren little time for a social life and no time for college.

Justin refused to join in the family law business and moved away from his small town to California to work on an oil rig until he could decide what he wanted to do that was not dictated by his father. On his first night back to his hometown for a visit he has a chance meeting with Lauren that he can’t forget. Fate keeps throwing these two back together, and in only a few short days they are both questioning their feelings for one another and if they can actually survive a real relationship together.

This is a standalone novel, and it’s important to note that this is the 2nd Edition, the writer changed several things from the first time she released her debut novel. I found this to be a sweet contemporary romance with a young love story and a steamy couple. Lauren is far less experienced than Justin, and is fairly innocent when it comes to anything in their relationship. Justin knows what he wants from the second that he meets Lauren and refuses to give up any notion of a relationship with her. The story is faced paced, fairly predictable towards the end, but at the same time, I would have been furious if I was left with a cliffhanger. It’s important to note that this is the authors 2nd Edition of this book. This was her debut novel, and since then she has written many others, even that cross over into Erotica. I was first introduced to her work when I read her One Urge, One Plea, Keep Me Trilogy. This novel is far different from that series. Her writing is compelling, and will keep the reader interested.

This is a quick and easy romance read geared toward anyone 18 and over due to sexual content. If you haven’t read any of Scarlet’s work, I urge you to do so. I enjoy every one of her novels that I am able to read and I am never disappointed!

This was a sweet and refreshing romantic story. Lauren was the hardworking daughter of nursery owners. Tired of being a pawn in her parent’s separation, Lauren has a moment of recklessness and picks up a hitchhiker. Home from working out of state, Justin is temporarily staying in town before returning to school. Pressured by his family to continue in their footsteps as lawyers, Justin is determined to make a life on his own terms. The two of them begin falling in love and looking forward to the future. As always things don’t go as planned. Betrayal and secrets come to light to threaten the newly forming relationship. Is the nursery in danger of closing? Will their love be strong enough to overcome these obstacles? What secret is Lauren holding? I was able to read this book fairly quickly because I just didn’t want to put it down. I liked how nicely the story unfolded and the interaction between all the characters in the book.

One week for love to bloom was so sweet and so precious. It only took one day for me to fall in love with it. Lauren is hard at work at her parent’s nursery and Justin has returned to town to prepare to leave for college. Neither expected to find love after Lauren picks Justin up from hitchhiking one night. The sparks immediately begin to fly. Lauren’s parents are divorcing and there’s something not quite right going on at the nursery. Justin is pressured by his family to continue in the shoes of his father and brother as a lawyer but he has no interest in that. This couple has several obstacles to overcome and the story moves rapidly and draws the reader in. I enjoyed reading about Lauren and Justin and all the other characters that make up this story. This is the first book I ever read of Scarlet Wolfe and I am glad I found it. I look forward to the next book in the series and where this series will lead.

SCARLET WOLFE sure knows how to write a story . Justin comes back to his home town after escaping from his parents wanting to dictate his life, one faithful night while walking down a road a truck stops to give him a ride. Lauren is on her way back home late at night from visiting her father. She sees Justin and debate stopping but does. AFTER an exchange of words debating on why not to pick up a stranger, this starts a courting of Justin and Lauren having a strong passion major chemistry that both can't fight. With all good things trials and trust come in to play. Cant two people stay strong.or will this break them apart forever. I CANT WAIT TO READ MORE OF THIS SERIES.

On the plus side, I thought to myself "I'll just read a chapter or two of this book before I go to bed", and didn't put it down until 1:30, after completing it. I sucked it right in, page after page, pushing to see how the characters would react next. And I don't only mean Lauren and Justin. I was more curious to read about Brett, Emily and even Beth, who reaffirmed my belief that people do change, and not always for the worse.

On the other hand, not once did I have to go back and re-read what was right in front of me. Not once did I feel the need to pause, take a deep breath and calm myself down (be it from arousal, shock, mellowness or any other emotion). This book read too quickly, and though I am a sucker for smart dialogue and witty come-backs, I felt this story was only dialogue. I can't believe I am saying this, but I wanted more description. Of surroundings, of feelings, of expressions, of internal mechanisms of thought.

I also believe the "How I Met Your Mother" part of the story was rushed, and so so easy! I smirked sleazily at the beginning - hot hitch-hiker steals a ride in frustrated damsel's vehicle, his wit gets him kicked out of her truck, her guilt gets him back in, and love is in the air (or at least, lust is). I was very eager to see how Justin would go about finding that mysterious stranger... but nope, fate isn't to be messed with, and 2 people who are meant to be together keep bumping into each other every single day. Damn damn damn. Where's the suspense in that?!

Finally, I never like books who portray women being an emotional mess and acting completely irrationally. A knot of nerves, guilt, base-lacking pride and misplaced fear, Lauren got on my nerves a few times. CALM DOWN, WOMAN!

This book is just what I needed right now. After reading a few darker, mind effing books, A Week for Love to Bloom was a refreshing romance.

Justin and Lauren meet as a coincidence one night, then again and again. Lauren is a busy girl, running her family's garden and nursery business, leaving her little personal time. Justin is heading home from California. He quit his job on an oil rig and needs to figure out what the next step for him is. His family already knows what they want for him, but it isn't anything he wants.

As they keep bumping into each other, Justin and Lauren can't deny the strong attraction and start semi dating. Their hometown is small, so everybody knows everybody's business and Lauren's friend Ashley finds out that Justin isn't staying, he's going back to college to finish his degree. Knowing this, Lauren is guarding her heart and not letting Justin totally in. She has some baggage from her past that left her with trust issues, so Lauren isn't sure how reliable Justin is.

Giving in, Justin and Lauren go for it and decide to play it by ear. Things are good, she is working, he's helping out and there isn't talk of him going back to school-yet. Some slight scuffles derail this cute couple, however they seem to get themselves back on track quickly. Family is everything to Lauren, so once she finds out what Justin's has been up to, it is game over.

The story line is a bit predictable, however Scarlet Wolfe threw in a few curve balls to keep her readers on their toes. The book is well written with fantastic characters that instantly pulled me into the story. Written in alternating POV's, which also include Justin's brother and wife, keeping the story moving at a fast pace. Sweet romance that hit the spot!

I won this book via Goodreads giveaways. The rating is actually 2.5, but I rounded it up to 3 stars.

I really liked the premise of this book. The idea of the couple being drawn to each other from the very beginning as if with magnetism was a fun idea, and the financial issues that come up later were dramatic and riveting.

However, the execution was not what I was hoping for. The book was about 90% dialog, which made for many stilted and awkwardly formal conversations between characters as the writer was trying to relay all of the information through the characters' talks. I've never thought this before, but this book really needed a lot more description. I think the dramatic emotions the characters had, as well as more background information on each of the characters (including the secondary characters, who came off as slightly one-dimensional), could have been better conveyed if we had more descriptive paragraphs.

Certainly more information about what was going on in the main characters' heads would have been great. For example, there was the first blow up when Justin had dinner at his parents' and his ex from years ago was at the dinner. Lauren is sobbing over this, and I just kept thinking, "so what?" I think with more description as to why this was such a big huge deal would have helped me to better understand her.

This was a good effort by Wolfe, and as I said, the premise was really interesting. I look forward to seeing what she will write next.

I really enjoyed this book. It was quite amusing at times especially the fact that Justin and Lauren fall in love after one week. Sometimes i find it hard to believe in love at first sight but the way it was written, made in so beautiful and like they were soul mates.

Justin and Lauren find an attraction between them from the moment that Lauren thinks Justin is a hitch-hiker and stops and picks him up. Because of his cocky attitude, it doesn't take long for Lauren to get annoyed that she chucks him out of her truck. The chemistry between them is amazing and Justin vows he will see her again and of course, their paths cross on more than one occasion.

It is such a whirlwind romance and everything happens really fast but it just worked. I loved that their was no build up to them falling in love and no prolonged will they, won't they moments. It's a change to read about love at first sight. It was a short book and i did end up reading it in a day but i truly loved this book and i didn't mind it being a short book as the content was brilliant. I'm really enjoying read this author's work.

I have read a few books by Scarlet Wolfe and hate to say that this was my least favorite. Sorry!!

I found that there was too much dialogue between Justin and Lauren. This lead to awkward conversations.. I don't do well with that. There wasn't much description as to what the heck was going on in their heads. I wanted.. no needed more feeling. I loved the premise of the story. Falling madly in love with each other.. swoon, but the craziness of Lauren at times.. too much to handle. I felt confused at times - it was just slightly lacking.

Still a great read just not 'fabulous' in my opinion.

A more wholesome & Sweet book- . In the beginning, it sounded like they were older than they were.
I found myself wondering why she would tease him n want to shower with him, then get him all hot n bothered & then HE would apologize to her.... Huh? Why? Was it just me who thought : where are your balls?!
Overall it was a sweet debut book.

A little too much apologizing for me, but I read the whole thing. I give it three⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars.

If you grew up in a small town and you well know the way the grapevine works, I think you'll appreciate the story in this debut novel by author Scarlet Wolfe. Written with a great deal of passion, I see a bright future ahead of this new romance author.

A little corny for me....

But cute! Some of the dialogue sounded a bit stilted and fake, and if Lauren said "i can't be with him/you" one more time.....but the overall storyline was enjoyable. The author did a nice job.
