NEVER A BRIDE?

Heather Ashton wanted to be a wife and mother more than anything in the world. Her compassionate heart had led her into three engagements, but she had never been married. Now she was beginning to think she was incapable of truly falling in love.

Then she met Andre Latouche, a handsome French vintner, a man who had nothing but contempt for her.

She knew she had to forget him. But how could she when her importer employer sent her to France to research his vineyards--and Andre was to be her teacher?

I loved this pure, old-fashioned romance! So passionate and filled with emotion.

2014- got in 110 pages this time before we left. I figured out what confused me, an omniscient head hopping that briefly happens here and there, that's all. I have mixed feelings. I like it. I like it quite a bit. Thinking from any kind of "women are not objects" stance it is an awful thing, but so are many older romances. I was expecting that and it definitely doesn't detract from the book if you keep that in mind.

2013-I only got a few pages in and honestly it confused me but the teaser at the beginning snared me. I will have to find this book again someday or choose it to read the next time I go to the cottage I saw it in this weekend.
