Every now and then, a story conjures a scene so sharp it rattles your bones. For me, it was King Arthur channeling his inner Gandalf, roaring “You shall not pass!”—a deliciously clever twist that had me cackling like some mischievous demon perched on the sidelines. 👑⚔️

Yet beyond the hellfire and swordplay, what lingers is the haunting discussion of local English legends at the end. Shadows of folklore woven through hedgerows, churchyards, and old stone walls—reminders that the devil isn’t always in the details, sometimes he’s in the history.

A tale of clever winks, eerie whispers, and legendary echoes. Perfect for those who like their myths with a touch of mischief. 😈✨

Straightfoward book for boys, aimed at getting more teenage/tweenage boys to read. Good pace but limited character development.
