Normally I am hesitant to invest in any book that is less than one hundred pages, as I have found most experiences with these truncated “books” very unsatisfactory. However, I was surprised and pleased after reading Colin G. Smith’s book on NLP.
Mr. Smith has cut through the fat and presents the absolute basics for anyone to easily understand the essence of Neuro Linguistic Programming. He presents these techniques in a step-by-step format, providing short explanations whenever he believes they are necessary. As one who has never investigated NLP, I found his book lived up to its advertising as a Quick Start Guide, and never once felt that I had not received a product that was not worth what I had paid for it. The book not only talks about what NLP is, it allows you to use the techniques immediately.
The author has written a longer book, offering further information for those who wish to add to their knowledge of this subject. I recommend this short guide to anyone who wishes to learn what NLP is or wishes to put some of the techniques in practice immediately. Definitely a five-star effort.
