They are not the big fish in the small pond any more, instead the sharks are circling. But you know what they say about cornered animals, That’s when they are at their most deadly.
With their own survival on the line, will they manage to get the revenge on Maria’s killer that they so desperately crave? Or will they be joining her instead?
This is book 3 in the written in blood series, a slow build why choose, murder mystery meets dark romance.
It’s not every day I like the sequel better than the first! Are you KIDDING me with that cliffhanger? I’ll be thinking about it until October when book 3 comes out. The character development was amazing!
The suspense never ends with each turn of the page. Well developed characters with great dialogue. There is spice, but not too much. I can’t wait to read the next book and see how it all ends.
Another thrilling installment! If you're a sucker for bad boys these books have you covered. Ruthless AND protective. Nyx has it made with her strong, sexy protectors. Just don't tell her I said that or implied that she needed them or she'll kick my butt lol
Where the first book(Blood ties) was all twists and turns and tons of “wtf just happened” moments, this is much more steamy looks, angsty terror, and some pretty damn good smut. The scene at the end…*chef’s kiss*. While I devoured this book almost as quickly as number 1, it definitely was for different reasons…instead of wanting to solve the mystery I wanted to know if a certain somebody was going to share with a certain someone and then it would lead to…never mind, I won’t spoil it! A little less thriller-ey on round two, and a little more smutty(no complaints here), but still ended on a wild cliff hanger! Looking forward to number three!
I’m a sucker for these guys. They might be killers, and a little bit deranged but their hearts are gold. It’s so suspenseful and ends on another cliffhanger. Slow burn but starting to ramp up, Book three here I come!
I’m loving this series. The writing is good and well thought out but there are definitely some typos that need fixing but it’s not enough to take away from the story.
