I used this amazing expedition guide to plan our upcoming vacation to Yellowstone, and I feel completely prepared! Not only does it give all the typical information about specific sites and lodging, but also has a section detailing all the park's hiking trails and another for plants and wildlife. I was able to determine from home exactly which restaurants in the park offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and what the dress code will be for each.
We'll definitely be bringing the guide with us on our vacation, as its maps and "tour guide" section will be invaluable. I'm really looking forward to using the included audio guide, which has tracks to be listened to in specific areas of the park.
I've been to Yellowstone before, but it wasn't that meaningful because I didn't really know what I was looking at, and we approached the sites so haphazardly. I feel like this guide will make all the difference for our family's upcoming trip to Yellowstone! I couldn't recommend it more strongly.

Well, we just got back from our trip to Yellowstone, and I'd say this book was the best $40 spent for the whole vacation. It made our stay there so efficient, and I don't think we missed a single thing!

This guide has breathtaking photographs and extensive details about Yellowstone’s history, flora and fauna, and thermal features/attractions. It is such a complete and well done reference book. My only complaints are that there is no index (which I heavily rely on in guide books) and while the CD is very informative, it is not appropriate for children. Some of the stories told about the dangers of wildlife and thermal features are scary...even for me!

This is a great overview and travel guide of Yellowstone! It has basic info about everything with great maps of all the areas that you can't get anywhere else, as well as an interesting audio guide, gorguous photos, and even a computer tour of the park.
