Then Again

Rate this book
They would really sell Hilltop House?" asked Tillie in disbelief. Thirty years after the discovery of pirate treasure hidden in its basement, the elder care facility is in danger of being sold. Its little hometown of Hardly Hill is mostly boarded up and in decline. Arrianna, a young woman newly arrived in the area, determines to prevent the demise of the care center and to return it to its glory days, as best she can imagine them. To be successful, however, she needs the help of her self-centered nemesis, Jason, who has his own recollection of what was important about the good old days. "Then Again" is the story of change and tough decisions intertwined with family, community and compassion. It is book three in the Hardly Hill series. The other two are "Hilltop House" and Rightful Owner.

Hardly Hill Series

I 've just finished the Hardly Hill Series. More than just a quick read. After dealing with caring for someone with dementia myself, Ireally understand what people with dementia and their families experience. This book highlights this. The third book in the series emphasizes some of the issues associated with memory care facilities. This info is woven through interesting stories .
