Hilarous stories of animal adventures on a path to making the world a better place for all creatures; big, small, four legged and two legged. However, the book is not just about animals, its about thinking outside the box, checking your ego at the gate, living a purposeful life that benefits others, and most importantly laughing through life's challenges.

Very entertaining book about the origins of the Service Dog Project and Crazy Acres. I could tell Carlene was a character from the first Daily Doggie I read and the tales in this book prove it. I hope Janine and Carlene put another book out and tell more stories from their incredible lives. Hopefully someday I can go for Sunday Stew and meet the entire cast of characters in Ipswich, MA.

I loved this book. Thank you Janine and Carlene for sharing the stories with us. I laughed and cried reading the book, and came away from it thinking about the "wealth" in my own life. Again, thank you!

I love Carlene and the SDP. Hearing things from her daughter is an amazing perspective. I learned so much about the organization from this book and Carlene herself. I'm so happy this book was written.

Fun to read

Anyone who has tried to control an active dog or child we love common sense solutions. I would have loved being a kid on that farm.

I had the pleasure of hearing Ms. Jacques speak at a fund raiser to benefit rescue horses. I bought her book and found the stories hilarious and delightful.

Loved it! Such a wonderful book about animals in need and rescue. I love the work done w/great danes. What wonderful dogs they are! Mobility dogs are a perfect use for them. Also, I enjoyed the horse rescue discussions. Horses have a difficult life in our world today. Very worthy read!

Janine Jacques brings to life what it was like to grow up on "Crazy Acres." Hilarious! After following SDP for almost a year, I enjoyed getting a behind the scenes look at how it all began.
