I must be a real sadist because I keep doing this to myself...that damn cliffhanger!! I NEED to know what happens next!

This is the third part of the Untamed series and it was awesome. As soon as I started reading, I was hooked to what would occur between Dare and Ree. After the way that the last part ended, I was eager to see if they would reunite. This time Ree is not letting Dare go, so she goes after him to Amsterdam. It's been three weeks, and Dare is working as a tattoo artist while hanging out with his older brother's band. He's hurt, angry at Ree, and over her addicton. He is also trying to forget about her, but no other woman interest him. When Ree accidentally ends up at the tattoo shop he works at, he quickly learns he can't just leave her, especially with how deep his feeling go for her.

●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●

'Loving Ree was simple and complicated, freeing and intense. It was everything I was meant to do. It was my reason for taking this breath and the next. And I couldn't stand another minute without her.'

●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●

I really loved this one, sure it had a bit less angst than the last one, but I for one, was happy for that little break. I loved seeing Ree and Dare reconnect. Ree still had her problems with drug use and I was so happy to see Dare finally offer the support she needed. There were so many sweet and swoony moments between them. I seriously fell more in love with Dare in this one. And of course the steamy scenes did not disappoint either.

●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●

'I never imagined I would have someone in my life who would love me no matter what. Someone who would see the good in me even when I couldn't. Someone who would choose to believe me even when the truth was a horror. I'd never known what I was missing until Dare.'

●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●

I also really enjoyed the group of secondary characters that were introduced in this one. They were all a riot and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I loved Dare's siblings Dash, Dax, and Dahlia. I even liked some of Dash's band members, especially Synner. There were many funny moments and silly banter. The way their relationship works was entertaining to read. But I will say, I'm really curious about Dash and what his story is.

I loved the story in this one, and how it was about the healing of Ree. But there were also some interesting things added to the plot about Dare's mother and father. That had me super curious about how all of it would unfold. And what a way to unfold, it did. That ending totally freaked me out. I could not stop turning to the page until if ended and I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe that was how it ended. I seriously can't wait to continue this series because I have become quite addicted to it. A great third part and very much looking forward to the next.

"You fucking slay me every single time. And I let you. I always let you."

It's been three weeks and Ree knows she's fucked it all up… again
Same mistakes, same stupid decisions, same fears, same pills.

Knowing she has to make things right and prove to Dare that he is everything for her, nothing else matters…the money, the status, the drugs, the alcohol and especially the other men. She's tired of making the same damn mistakes and pushing him away.
My phoenix. Reborn. New Ree. New me. I was starting now.

Refusing to give her nightmares and her parents any more control over her and her future, she decides that the only way to truly be free and happy is to be strong enough to finally deal with her past. Locking it away deep down is no longer working for her and if she wants to keep Dare, she needs to ditch her old habits. Dare knows she is strong enough and his belief is what drives her to get the help she needs.
"You are mine." I whispered back. "Mine to love, mine to have, mine to own."

He nodded. "And you ,my beautiful Ree, are mine. All mine. Now and Always."

Dare and Ree should have learned by now is that, just because you pretend things or people don't exist doesn’t make it disappear. While they are working on their relationship, people from their past isn't willing to let go. Just when they think they caught a break and finally be free, their small little world comes crashing down around them…

Escaped Artist is the third of the five episodes that make up the Untamed series, following Dare and Ree's rocky relationship. While there is never any doubt of the love between them, there is just so much outside forces making it hard for them to truly be together. This story is told from both Dare and Ree's POV, which is a treat, to finally get into this man's head and see what he is thinking, and boy did I fall even more in love with him.

While the second book touched on Ree's quest for freedom, this book drills it on home as her development and "rebirth" was highlighted. I can't really blame Dare for "escaping" but when push comes to shove, he is there for her every step of the way. He wants nothing more than for her to believe in herself that she is stronger than her past and her nightmares.

Once again this is another great addition to the Untamed series, only two more episodes left and with the way this ended I can only guess where the next one will take me... can't wait!

5 - Rising from the Ashes - Stars

Escaped Artist – book three of the Untamed series – my favorite yet! I’ve mentioned in my reviews for the first two book proceeding Escaped Artist about my affection for this writing team, an affection that continues to grow with each book thanks to the brilliant writing of Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese.

The writing sucks you into this vortex making it easy to sit down with Dare and Ree, after having immediately dove for your Kindle and drop real life to read an entire episode in one sitting. The world according to Dare and Ree is full of happiness, color, and rich beauty. It’s also dark; full of gray areas, mystery and intrigue. The healing they provide for each other immensely affects the readers. The addiction laced within the pages directly relates, a testament to the writing, to the addiction you feel while reading the pages.

You know I love the writing, the plot, and especially the characters. I was proud of Ree here, believing in her now more than ever. I feel like I highlighted everything Dare said. Dare’s siblings Dahlia and Dax are back, Dahlia whom represents a kick ass character. The two main characters rise from the ashes just as the phoenix that represents them. There’s a monumental shift, an escape if you will, that takes place in their relationship here, a shift that makes you hopeful. This book is just so great – fun, angsty – full of drama, passion, and love.

So, in Escaped Artist we pick up three weeks later from the epic ending to Out of Control. We’re also given some new and awesome bonuses to their world. First and most important of which - living the story partially from Dare’s point of view. I loved the authors made this choice. Reading for Dare was quite the treat. We’re afforded sweet, strong, passionate, loyal, funny, tortured Dare straight from his thoughts. And it’s a great place to be, inside his mind. Secondly, we meet Dash. Dash Wilde – let me just tell you the wait for his story will be torturous. He’s got a lot of charisma, the older brother of Dare, hiding a secret behind his bad boy persona and I can’t wait to find out that secret. Accompanying Dash, his band No Man’s Land, the highlight of which is Synner. A strong secondary character: sexy, funny, and panty-melting charm. I find it telling of a good book when the supporting cast provides so much more to the flow of the story.

If you haven’t started this series yet, I urge you to do so, you just can’t go wrong. The structure of the story and the series as a whole lends itself to a cat and mouse game. The authors give a little and then take it away, then give a little more and take that away too. It’s an incredibly engaging, delicious push/pull that’s addicting and fun to read. Reading a series formatted in novella’s such as this excites me. It something I hope you can get excited about too.

It’s like your most favorite television show leaving you holding on to the edge after a particularly satisfying episode. You wait because you have to but even more, you wait because it gives you something to be excited about – to look forward to receiving. Imagine if your favorite television show was a book how much more real and alive the story becomes. That’s this series, but way better than I could describe. Reading the Untamed series, and Escaped Artist especially, gives you everything a great story should with vivid descriptions, concise writing, characters you fall in love with and a heart pounding ending that leaves you wanting more. And then after you’ve recovered, you’re totally stoked anticipating the release of book four.

Favorite Quotes:

“He turned and looked at me as if I were the rain to his desert. Like he’d been searching for me his whole life and had finally found me. But there was something else in his dark gaze, too. A sadness that ran deep. And I had no idea how to react, what he wanted of me, or what I could do to keep that amazing look on his face.”

“Your eyes that notice light even when the world is submerged in darkness. … Eyes that find beauty in works of art that other people miss. Eyes that always perceive the best in me.”

Escaped Artist is without a doubt the best book of the
series so far. I just can’t get over how this series keeps getting better and
better as it goes on. In the first two books you see a lot of character
building, and you really start to get to know each of the characters. In
Escaped Artist, Victoria and Jinsey take what we have already learned about the
characters, and stack a hell of a lot more information on top of it.  These two ladies continue to blow me away with
their writing, and only being half way through the series. I can’t even begin
to imagine what they have in store for us in the last three books.

(My pick for Ree -- Alexis Ren)

If you have been reading and following this series, one of
the burning questions you probably have relates to something in either Ree’s or
Dare’s past. All I am going to say is that you learn a hell of a lot more about
both of them in Escaped Artist. I don’t want to go into a lot of detail on what
you learn, simply because it is so fundamental to this book and their overall
story that you really need to read the book and see what you end up learning
about both of them.

This story includes a lot more than just the focus on Ree
and Dare. I loved the fact that Dax, Dash, and Dalia get so much of a spotlight
in this book. Dash gets a huge spotlight, as he is one of the major characters
throughout all of the book since Dare is with him and his band “No Man’s Land”
in Amsterdam. Dax and Dalia get a little spotlight towards the beginning of the
book, but towards the end they have much more prominent roles. It was just
great to see all the siblings having a decent amount of page time in this book,
and it led to quite a few entertaining moments. I don’t think Dare, Dash, or
Dax will ever question the fact that Dalia is a grown woman and not just their
little sister anymore.

(My pick for Dalia -- Michelle Keegan)

Apart from the normal cast of characters we are use to
seeing, you will be introduced to Dash’s band members.. And they are quite the
bunch. With Leo, Hawke, and Synner, you can pretty much expect any amount of
craziness you can possibly ask for. And through all the scenes that take place
where they all are staying, there is definitely a lot of craziness to go around.
Then you have Indie. She is the lead singer, and you can definitely consider
her the motherly figure of the group. She always attempts to make sure the guys
are focused on what they should be doing, and not goofing around too much. I
really liked her from the start, when you see how assertive she is early on
when she has to yell at the guys.

(Indie -- Picture that Victoria picked out)

I can’t type this review and not talk about the setting. I
love that Victoria and Jinsey take their readers on these adventures to these
beautiful places and do such a wonderful job describing them and really making
you feel like you are there. Amsterdam was no different. The way they describe
everything it’s literally like the words describing the place melt together
into a picture. I honestly don’t know how else to explain it.

While you get a lot of very important and major questions
answered in this book, you are left with so many more after the incredibly
shocking ending that they throw at you in this book. And I love that they
decided to tease up about not getting a short synopsis or anything about Wild
at Heart after what we are left with.

(You will have to wait and see what all of this image is all about.)

If you haven’t read the first book in the series called
“Untamed” I highly suggest that you go do so. If you are caught up to Escaped
Artist, I can promise you that you are in for a great book. I am really excited
for Wild at Heart (Book 4) I really hope you all enjoy this book as much as I did,
and if you are new to the series I hope that you will enjoy all of the books
and be just as ready for book 4 as I am one it releases.

This is the first review I have done where I included pictures to go along with a review outside of something like a blog tour. I really hope you all like this review, it's a great story and series that is definitely worth reading. Victoria and Jinsey continue to do an incredible job at keeping readers hooked on their books. Once you start this series, I am sure you will be hooked too.

First, I need to say that I was already a huge fan of this series after novella #1. But my love for these characters and their story keeps multiplying with each novella. I LOVED THIS ONE. It has everything I'd want in a full-length novel, the character development, the drama, the angst, the humor, the HEAT.

We meet new characters in this one, and I loved getting to know Dare's brother Dash and his rowdy rock band members and loved that it was set in the gritty and provocative setting of Amsterdam.

I'm all about the characters, and in Untamed #1 and #2, I was all about Dare. I am still. All. About. Dare.

I've always liked Ree, empathized with her even, but I totally loved both of them in this story. In Escaped Artist, we get to finally see more of her backstory and feel her pain down to the core. I rooted for Ree all the way as she finally stood up to her past, her parents, and as she faced her crippling addiction head on. But Dare is still #1 in my heart, and he totally won my heart (again) as he finally admitted to himself what he needed to ask Ree to do for them to be together (finally!). His love for his family, who I loved getting to know even more in this story, was paramount -- but his unparalleled love and support for Ree was touching, gripping, and drew me in until I got to the end of this book, because I was dying to know if they would finally get their hard-earned HEA.

I can't say ANYTHING about the ending, and you'll know why when you read it.
Just this.
I'm dying for novella #4.

THIS ENTIRE SERIES IS A MUST-READ.

It never fails that once I pick up one of these amazing novellas, I simply can't put it down. I read walking around the store, I read at lunch, I read on the toilet (did I just admit that?)...I mean unputdownable! Escaped Artist just made me all sorts of happy. With the third book in the series, it continually gets hot and I absolutely love this "wilde" ride!

"You're not a mess," I pressed my lips to her forehead. "You're my other half."

With Dare and Reagan, I couldn't have been happier with this this installment and where they've ended up. They've been put through hell and back and unfortunately even though that hasn't ended yet, they keep getting stronger and stronger and I adore seeing that. They truly are each other's strength and happiness and I can only hope for more from them.

Synner...mother humping British, green eyes, shaggy hair, tattoo, rock God. I heart him to bunches, even if he is a man whore. I just loved getting to know Dash's band as a whole though, too. Indie is a little pistol and I adored her and every scene she was screaming in, ha! And, shout out to Leo and all his running...I totally can relate!

I really hate girls that I have to hate. They put my anger at all time highs haha. I will say though, I'm so happy I only had to pull the jealousy card out a little. I'm also extremely happy that Jinsey and Victoria decided to make book three take a different type of thrill route. Even though that ending broke my heart a little, and just like the first two books, is making me die for book four! Totally loved every moment, and if you haven't started this series...you have to! If you've read the first two, well what are you waiting for jump on and grab book three! Escaped Artist is just an amazing, amazing book number three in this series, and I NEEEEED more!

Ps. I have to shout out to Jinsey Reese and Victoria Green real quick. Thank you so much for allowing me to read and review these books as a beta. I have just been blown away by these amazing novellas. You two are killing it, and I'm honored, as a beta, to go on this journey with Dare and Ree.

5 Golden Totally Hooked Stars

Escaped Artist by Jinsey Reese & Victoria Green

I didn't think this series could get any better but surprisingly I fall more in love each episode. It's one of those books that her hands itch when you don't have it in your hands. I can not explain how amazing this whole series is the excitement & giddiness it makes you feel is unbelievable. Victoria & Jinsey amkes the words on the pages your reality full of passion & love that completely consumes you. You can't wait to read the next word, turn the page, and become part of Ree & Dare's life. The excitement quickly becomes heartache knowing it will soon end because you can't slow down because the "NEED" is so overwhelming to keep reading. Escaped Artist does not disappoint in any way. Just as the previous books sucked us in this one devoured me!

Escaped continues Reagan & Dare's love story. Reagan has to find Dare and explain what happened at the art show. She has to understand the proposal was a set up by her parents for her father's campaign and she made it clear to the paparazzi as such. Ree knows she desperately needs Dare or she does not truly exist. She is only half of a whole without him.

Dare on the other hand just can't keep doing this with Reagan anymore. He can not deal with another addict regardless how much he loves that addict. Can Ree's secrets set her free or destroy any chance she has with Dare? Can someone from Dare's past ruin any chances of them becoming a "whole" again? Will Ree's parents finally give up and allow her to live her life and make her own plan or will they find a way to destroy any potential they have?

Tors & Jin a brilliant book once again.

Jinsey Reese and Victoria Green you were just mean!!!! ;)- "Did you ACTUALLY think we'd give you a blurb right now? After THAT ending? Ha! No such luck." How can anybody leave girl like me on the edge not knowing what will happened next?!
Anyway like I sad I loved this one I think that "Untamed" is one of the best series I'm reading and I'm so glad that I have chance to be among advanced readers.

OMG OMG OMG !!!! HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME AGAIN ?????!!!!! IT CANNOT END LIKE THIS !!!!! YOU ARE CLIFFY~ING ME TO DEATH !!!!!These two authors wont be happy until they give me a damn heart attack !!This was book 3 in the Untamed series and I really have to say…. I am even more in love with Dare and Ree that I was before.Escaped Artist is undeniable, without a doubt the best book of theseries so far. This series just keeps getting better and better as it goes on. And that says a lot because after a while they start to get boring when they are short reads like this. Not this one though, These two authors have absolutely chemistry with each other and the characters …. In the first two books you see a lot of characterbuilding, and you really start to get to know each of them pretty well. InEscaped Artist, the authors take what we have already learned about thecharacters, and stack a hell of a lot more information on top of it, not to mention we get some sexy new characters added to the mix. We got to meet Dash, Dares older brother, we actually heard from his mother this time, which I nthe first two, she was only referenced a few times…. Not to mention Dash’s band of hotties (male and female), and oh the drama that band can weave. We also got to see a little of the twins … they are such cutie pies …You will not be disappointed in the line up I promise you that. I can’t even begin to imagine what they have in store for us in the last three books, but if they have their way, I will be bald, because THEY ARE KILLING ME WITH THE CLIFFY’S !!!!KILLING ME LADIES !!! you should feel guilty … hahaha Im sure you don’t !!I cant tell you enough how much I love this series so far and how im practically dying for the next installment.I absolutely recommend this book, but start from the first because you really need to read it as a whole …Until the next installment, Dare, my love  Don’t judge !!

Full review is up here My Book Filled Life

Best one in the series yet! A bit more heavy and emotional, with a good balance of comedy relief with Dash and his band, as well as Dalia and Dax. We finally learn the event that happened to Reagan that started her on the path of addiction. Dare has consistently been an awesome Book Boyfriend (when he's not running away lol), and the ending? I knew it was gonna be major, but I still wasn't prepared for it. I really, really can't wait for the next book to come out!

review to come!!!

HOT HOT HOT!

Escaped Artist picks up shortly after Out of Control ended. Dare decides to pick up and leave after the Archer/Ree situation and spend sometime with his siblings while his brother's band, No Man's Land, is performing in Amsterdam.

With each chapter the POV changes between Dare & Ree. It is always a refreshing change to get to see the inner workings of both characters in a story. The alternating views really give you a wider picture of the whole story.

In this installment you are introduced to a ton of supporting characters from all the members of the band, Sia (from Dare's past) and you get to know familiar faces like Dalia and Dax so much more.

We must tell you, we think that Victoria & Jinsey own stock in a heart attack/panic attack medicine, because these CLIFF HANGERS are killing us!!!

Favorite Supporting Character in Escaped Artist?

Catherine: DASH. Hands down. The man has so many layers. The point when he became my favorite is when he walked Ree out after the "morning after" and give her simple, yet hopeful words of encouragement. He cares for the people around him, even if he doesn't shower them with hugs and 'I love yous!' Plus, he is quote and swoon worthy!

Kristyn: Synner. I don't know why but I loved him from the second he helped her pick up her bag. he is such a guy. He loves the women but is still such a good guy. He saw a girl down and out, helped her and took her home without taking advantage. I cant wait to hear his story.

Dare to elaborate?

Catherine: I adore Dare. This has been my stance from my first meeting him in Untamed. I fell even more in Out of Control. But, something about him in this book just knocked it out of the park. His willingness to open up about her, his insistence on getting help, his interactions with his siblings. He seems so different from when we met him those years ago. He wants more, and continues to show his dedication and love for his family with each action he takes. (Ree included!) I am eager to see how his story progresses with the remaining 3 books in his portion of the Wilde ride. To be completely honest, there are TWO confrontations I am dying to have play out. Dare vs The Mayor and Dare vs Archer. The one I never want to see is Dare vs Jackson, because I truly believe that will land him in jail.

Kristyn: I loved him in this book. Before not so much. he kept walking away and it made me so mad. Anything worth having is worth fighting for and he never would. He walked. this time was different. I wanted to stand up and cheer. She didn't have to chase after him this time! Like Catherine, I want to see those showdowns. When he said he would kill Jackson, I actually got scared for him.

Whose story are you looking forward to reading after this one is done?

Kristyn: I want to read about Blue. I really like her. I can see the love she has for Synner and I want them to be together. If not, I want her to hook up with some awesome guy who will take her mind off of him. I honestly just cant wait to hear more about the band period.

Catherine: I am most eager to read about Dalia. I loved the 'situation' at the end and how she stood up to her brothers! I think being in her thoughts would be a BLAST!

Favorite Quotes:

Catherine:
Dash laughed and ran a hand through his messy, dark hair. "You know the saying: When in Amsterdam..."
"...DO all the Romans?"
"Exactly," he said with another deep laugh.

"There was something sickening about having your greatest hope and worst fear confirmed at the same time. In the same person."

"Because I f***ing love you, you ass!"

"This wasn't an escape. It was real life. Dirty, gritty, magnificent."

"She can't understand you. She doesn't speak English."
He took a drag of his cigarette and licked his bottom lip.
"But she screams just fine in Dutch."

"Other parts of me were just as affected by the lust in his eyes and the filth of his words."

Kristyn:
"Love ruined you. It made you weak. It made you need someone so much you couldn't function without them. I'd vowed I would never put myself in that position, that I wouldn't utter those words unless they were true....and that just wasn't going to happen."

"Marry me, love," he said, gazing down at her in awe.
Dalia laughed, the sound wild and free, and shook her head. " Not a chance in hell."

"Damn, you look like hell."
No shit. I felt like hell.
"And you..." I opened my eyes and raised one agonizing eyebrow."...look like a Smurf."

Overall thoughts, feelings, tears shed or breathes head?

Catherine: With each installment, the story gets better!!! I layers that are shed are amazingly eye-opening glimpses into the characters pasts. Something as simple as red head can trigger a reaction to the likes of Ree and her fear of dark places. With something as minor as an opened door allows you to see that Dalia is all grown up and yet those boys will be boys. Someone has a bloody nose to prove it! A soft spoken named revealed, can open the eyes of someone who knows little of the woman who he loves past. Always seems magical when an author (or authors in this case) paint a story that sucks you in so deep you become invested in these 'FRIENDS' you've made. You think of them when you pass a tattoo parlor or see vendors on the streets in New Orleans selling their art. There are tons of authors that can write a good story, but few can make you feel a part of the story, but these two do that with each page you turn. It truly is WORD MAGIC!!!

Kristyn: This was my favorite so far. I love these books so much. I think this has got to be my favorite of this genre. I need them in book form all together to keep forever on my bookcase. Its so real to me. I can imagine me sitting in the room while the band is joking and having fun. I want to be there. to be a part of it. I cant wait to read more and more. That ending!!! Each installment, I say that the ending can't get any worse, but then it does!! Seriously... it cant get any worse. Right?

A huge 5 stars from both of us!

Well, I have been hooked on this series since practically the first page of book one and with my fingers crossed I am going to tempt fate and say that they just keep getting better and better!
We are again, blessed with an extra-ordinary quality of writing by both authors – the storytelling is of the highest order. The characterization is simple but effective – just enough on the line to make you want to root for both Dare and Ree. And boy do these pair need everyone to root for them – life has played them some tough hands but what they have between them is elemental – there connection is as deep as two people can get and there is no doubt in my mind that - they belong together!
The end of book two saw the pair parted yet again but while Dare may have left Paris, Ree had every intension of finding and fighting for her man. When Dalia lets it be known that Dare has joined Dash in Amsterdam – Ree is Holland bound and pounding the streets in the hope that she can track him down. The lengths this woman is willing to go to is astonishing.
Fruitless optimism beginnings to give way to the harsh reality that this time, he may just elude her – but with a scrap of paper that has her coveted Phoenix drawing in her hand she decides to take strength from the fact that if she has his drawing tattooed on her – she will always have him with her. So her search for a tattoo studio becomes her primary focus.
Dare is broken and trying to put himself back together with the help of his brother Dash ( what is it with their Mum and names beginning with D ?) and the rest of his Band- No Man’s land – and there are a host of characters in that scenario that require a hell of a lot more page time!! Synner is a charm – I loved him – man-whore of the highest order but he has a soft side lurking under all that testosterone and I can’t wait to get some more of his story.
But fate waves her magic wand and of all the shops she could walk into – Ree, finds him, just when she thought she might have to give up – but he doesn’t want her. Devastated she drowns her sorrows – only to meet the inimitable Synner. But in true gentlemanly fashion – Synner takes care of her, taking her back to his place when she is too drunk to go home alone and too drunk to tell him where she stays. Not taking advantage and spends the night on the sofa, he tucks Ree up in his bed. Well you can imagine the scene that is presented in the morning when Ree wakes and has to leave – getting out without seeing Dare – not a hope in Hell and the punch up that ensues is beyond painful for her.
Dash explains what happened and Dare finally sees sense. He has a chance to try again but will he take it? Can Ree take the steps that Dare needs from her in order for them to be together?
In this book, we get to hear from Dare, as much of the story is told from his point of view – and he is worth listening too – I thoroughly enjoyed hearing his museings . He is a tortured old soul all wrapped in up in a gorgeous young body – he is such a passionate guy, who loves fiercely and is passionately loyal to his friend and family.
Speaking of his family – Dash is definitely the go to guy in the band but he has a question mark hanging around him that I can’t wait to have explained – I think he will prove to be delicious!!!
Dalia, is feisty having grown up with her very own three musketeers – Dash, Dare & Dex but stepping out into the big bad world under their watchful eyes is going to be interesting to say the least and she sets the sparks flying in Amsterdam!! And Dex – he is suck a cocky so-and so, he just makes me smile 
Life has plans for Dare and Ree, big plans I hope but powerful forces are always in the shadows. I only wish that is where they would stay! I would love to reach into the pages and pull out the evil but I suppose nothing worth having comes easy!
The whole story is incredible and just when I thought I could take a deep breath and uncross my fingers for Dare and Ree – the ending unfolded and I was left hanging by my fingertips for the next instalment.
A fabulous addition to this a brilliant series

All I can say right now is THANK FUCK. The third installment in the 5 part series finally gave us a reprieve from the angst filled books that preceded it.

Escaped Artist picks up three weeks after the devastating ending to Out of Control. We are finally given what I feel like the last two books desperately needed, Dare's POV. It was so good finally being inside his head and having certain things that were driving me crazy before cleared up. We also get to meet Dare's rock star brother, Dash, and his fellow No Man's Land bandmates. We get a tiny glimpse of what will probably be another series surrounding Dash and the band, which is extremely exciting.

So Ree follows Dare to Amsterdam so she can explain to him the truth about what really happened back in Paris. Before she does that she decides to finally get the phoenix drawing tattooed on her to prove just how much she loves him. *Surprise surprise* she stumbles right into the tattoo shop that Dare is working at.

I was so disappointed in Dare in the previous book and I told myself if he pushed her away or if she was the only one fighting for their relationship that I'd be done with this series. The authors did not disappoint! It was fantastic being inside Dare's head and when he finally realizes the mistakes he made he pulls his head out of his ass and does right by Ree.

"You're not a mess," I pressed my lips to her forehead. "You're my other half."

We get to just enjoy Ree and Dare reuniting as well as Ree finally getting the help she needs for her addiction. This book does end in a cliffy, however, no one is running/chasing anyone. I was worried about how the book would end and if I'd have to start blowing shit up and drop kicking bitches in the nuts. But alas, that was not the case. I'm not too concerned with the cliffy and am eagerly awaiting the next books release!

Escaped Artist
(Untamed Series #3)
This story was given to me in exchange for an hones review.
I thoroughly enjoyed Untamed and Out Of Control. I found the writing to be riveting and very easy to enjoy. These were real people in this story that are not perfect and are struggling to find their niche in life. For Reagan she is actually trying to find herself.
Escaped Artist has Dare leaving town after witnessing Archer propose to Ree. Amazingly Reagan stands up to her parents this time and takes control of her life and her destiny.
Now she just needs to find Dare again, in Amsterdam. Dare has been working as a tattoo artist and this is where she finds him by chance on night as she attempts to get her Phoenix, her personal talisman tattooed on herself. This she thinks will prove to Dare how serious she is about him and only him. They are unable to deny the love they have for one another. This is where the writing turns brillian, we know that Ree has issues with alcohol and prescription drugs. Now Dare is taking control to help her deal with this problem and the issues behind it. These are very touching scenes as Dare's Mom has been battling addiction for years.
Finally it looks like thing might be turning around for this couple. They are both happy. They are together, in the same city, their connection on the bed sheets is both frequent and combustable. They are both thriving, Ree has dealt with her demons, she is finally clean and Dare is getting the itch to paint again.
But wait, more trouble is on the horizon, I am sure the Daddy Dearest must be behind it again. This time it is Dare's past that is threatening to cause havoc. Will it be able to? We are once again left with an amazing end that had me pulling hair out. Evilness. A 5/5 again. Awesoness.

Unfortunately, I had to read a lot of other book before I was able to dive back into this series and I am so sad that I had to take a break from Dare and Ree, but mostly Dare.

Even with the few months break, I was still immediately sucked back into the drama that Dare and Ree live. Dare is trying to let Ree go and Ree is fighting, with every ounce of her being, to get him back. It is so hard to read of their struggle but it is also so beautiful that such a pure love between two people can be so hard to obtain and hold on to.

The third book wasn’t filled with angst as the last two books were, which I found nice because we got to read how their relationship has started to grow more and solidify itself without the presence of Ree’s family or the threat of Dare’s father. For a moment there was a nice span of time where things were perfect, even though they were fighting their own battle, they weren’t fighting outside battles.

And then – BOOM – yeah, it happens and it rocked my core. I ended the book with my mouth hanging opening and just a look of shock on my face. Green and Reese sure did throw me off my happy and feeling good high and right onto my worry and pain low. Great job ladies for rocking this book.

P.S. I loved getting to know Dash and his band and I do hope that more of Dash and all of the band’s story get highlighted more in this series –or – make it is spin off *hint hint*

I can't get enough of this series. It is everything we have come to expect from these ladies and them some! The Ree/Dare saga continues in Amsterdam when Ree goes on a search for Dare after he left her in Paris. Dare realized that Ree's family will always control her life and he couldn't continue to be part of it. Ree wouldn't give up on him and works through her demons for the man she loves and the life she wants...warning - extreme cliffhanger!

I really enjoyed how much Ree grew in this book and how much Dare supported her. The ending left us with a bit of cliffhanger so I can't wait and see how things evolve in the next book.

5 Addicted Stars!!

“Ree and I went from being two broken people who soothed each other’s demons to something more. Much more. And the thought of it almost brought me to my knees.” ~Dare

MOTHER EFFER!!! Why do I keep torturing myself with these cliffhangers?? You want to know why, because I am an addict…a Ree and Dare addict!! I will be sad when this series ends. I just want, no, need these two to be together and not have to deal with anymore drama. But I should know that it won’t end this quickly since there are still many more stories to be told about them.

“Welcome to the island of horny, immature misfit toys, Ree.” ~Indie

What really pulled me in with this one (not that Ree and Dare don’t), is the addition of Dash and his band mates. The humor was through the roof in this installment. Synner is my favorite band member! I felt it was a good to change it up a little with some new characters. It helps to keep the interest up, otherwise I might go crazy waiting on Ree and Dare to get their HEA…please tell me there will be a HEA at some point?!?!?

“Because I fucking love you, you ass. God, Dalia was right. You are an idiot.” ~Ree

The other two parts to this series were emotional but this one seemed a lot deeper to me. Ree and Dare are finally ready to get their crap together and try and make things work. That warmed my heart, and made me feel so much better…until the end!!! And if you read this ending without cursing like I did, you are a better person than me. I truly did say MOTHER EFFER when I read the last page of this story.

Again I have to say that these authors did an amazing job at making even more addicted to Ree, Dare, Dalia, Dax, and now Dash and the band. Get started on this series as soon as possible!!!

“She’d snuck her way into my mind and heart, and now refused to let go. Or maybe I wouldn’t let her go. She was my addiction, but there was no twelve-step program to scrub her out of my system.”

Escaped Artist by Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese is the third book in the Untamed Serial. I am really enjoying this fast and steamy story. My heart is constantly racing with all the angst and drama that Dare and Reagan bring and I cannot wait to get to their conclusion and hopefully Happily Ever After.

“You slay me, Ree, You fucking slay me every single time. And I let you. I always let you.”

I’ll be honest and say that Raegan is not an easy heroine to love, she really makes you work to like her. Reagan has been battling addiction to help with the depression growing up with her family and all their pressure has caused. It is nice to finally see her try to get better even if I doubt her full motives (it really needs to be for her and not Dare.) Now, Dare, he is a hero we can all swoon over. He is bruiting and sexy and always seems to do the right thing even if it is with a bit of attitude. I absolutely cannot get enough of him.

“Of course I want you, But you have no idea how fucking badly I NEED you.”

I’ll be honest and say this whole serial is super sexy and not the kind of book you want to read in public for fear of intense blushing. I personally believe it had a perfect mix of angst and sex to keep me constantly entertained and dying for the next installment. Victoria and Jinsey have definitely created something quite addictive in the Untamed Series!

“This wasn’t an escape. It was real life. Dirty, gritty, magnificent. Dare was mine. I was his. And I was never letting him go.”

These books are THE BOMB!
I don't do serials. Not ever, but I tend to steer clear of them because I know I'll get bored waiting for each instalment to come out but this one got my attention.

{... a painter and his muse...} ---> Yes, please!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The writing is smooth and flows perfectly. The plot is fresh and new.
What I love about the main characters is their intensity. What do you think about when I say epic love? I used to think about Romeo and Juliet or some huge love story like that. Now, what comes to my mind are Dare and Reagan. I absolutely loved their whirlwind romance, their passion for art and the deep connection they share.
What shocked me about these books is that they don't feel like part of a serial. While reading I didn't have the impression of missing something like I had while reading other serials (okay, the few that I've read). I also love the fact that I got to care about the secondary characters. I usually don't get invested in them that much and I get annoyed if they take too much space in the story. I love so much Dax and Dalia that I wish they'll get their own book. In this last instalment Dash, Synner, Indie and the other member of the band were introduced. I can't believe that in just over 100 pages the authors were able to made me care about them as if they were always part of the story.

My hands itch to get to the next book!

As we continue following Dare & Ree's stormy love story, we will be introduced to new people in this episode. Dash, Synner, Hawke, Leo and Indie, better known as No Man Land Band.

As we left off on episode 2 Out Of Control, Dare had left Ree, again. Crashing with his brother Dash and the band in Amstedarm, to try and forget about Ree, Dare is not doing a good job. He knows he has to let her go, but is he being honest with himself?

Ree has make it a personal goal to be free once and for all from her dominating family, she knows it will be a long process because the McKinley's don't like to lose. After that stunt Archer pulled, she knew she had one thing to do. Go after Dare and be free once and for all from them.

Dare knows that in order for his relationship with Ree to work, she must admit she has a problem. Can he help her face her demonds without the help of her addicting friends. Or Will she give up on them?

I will recommend this series. This episodes are FULL LENGTH NOVELLAS.

This is book 3. It continues where book 2 left off.

Dare is pissed that Ree's family has interfered once again. This time, he is done with it all.. or is he?

Ree is pissed about what her family did. She once again left and goes in search of her heart. Dare.

Ree finds Dare unexpectedly. The meeting didn't goes as well as she hoped. Dare tries to not let his heart take control of the situation but sees that she needs help without her saying a word.

I will never be able to look at a tattoo shop the same again or get another tat. Whew. Hot damn. Steamy!

Jins and Tors have done it again with their awesome writing! I am loving how they have the stories going! I cannot believe this one ended the way it did though! Needless to say, I must read the next one... like right now!!

Keep up the amazing writing ladies!!

Ugh...I just feel like each episode farther into this I go, the more frustrated I get. Ree is stagnant, she has the same thoughts and the same weaknesses and the same comments in her head about Dare. Sure, she finally decides she needs help for her addiction this time around, but it's AFTER she uses...again. I get really irritated with weak heroines, and Ree has had so many scenes where she falls on her crutch or wusses out that it makes me want to scream. And I can't help feeling like the MAIN bond she shares with Dare is a mutual addiction to sex. Normally I'd be all over that aspect, but it's like every time they could have a genuine moment, she gets all lusty and they're ripping clothes off in a rehashed sexy scene. Really hoping there are major changes next episode seeing as how I bought this whole set...
