With the school festival safely concluded, things once again return to being peaceful and ordinary—or so Morihito and the gang think. But shenanigans abound as they get dragged into a random death game, are turned into children’s manga art, and more! Later, a letter Nico gave Morihito when they were children pops up during spring cleaning, shedding light on a secret from their past. And Nemu comes to a startling realization about the letter that could impact Nico and Morihito’s relationship forever…

Chapter 54: Just another day of them doing something absurdly stupid but somehow still hilarious. Classic.
Chapter 55: That death game rule revision? Brutal. Like seriously brutal. Poor Zigzag… lol.
Chapter 56: Oh! My boy, the student council leader with his iconic hat! I love his character design so much. His personality though… hmm… never mind. He’s cute, I forgive him.
Chapter 57: Kanshi, the man who never learns. Still fearlessly accepting Nico’s dangerously chaotic magic like it’s no big deal. Even after that double-speed disaster a few chapters ago. Respect? Concern? Both.
Chapter 58: Kengo and his personality.
Chapter 59: Why skating? Why? It came out of nowhere as his backstory. I still don’t understand why they chose that. Lol.
Also, the cat girl falling for both of them? Approved. Fully supported.
Chapter 60: Isekai… but not really isekai. Sure. Why not.
Chapter 61: Ah… so it’s a curse. That explains things. Kind of.
Chapter 62: Moi and his complicated nature… yeah, makes sense. At this rate, his relationship with Nico is going to stay painfully distant for a very long time. Noice.
Nico accidentally cursing Morihito with friendship, even though she loves him, ahhhhhhh!! They’re so precious. Also precious are these little character bumps for him, Kanashi, Keigo, and Nemu!!

These last two volumes have been on a different level. The consistent back and fourth between off the walls fun filler, and important and engaging series moments never leaves you unhappy. It has the perfect balance.
