Dr. Gregory P. Dixon, the doting husband of Jessica "Grace" Dixon has it all: life as the most accomplished neurosurgeon at Robinson Memorial Hospital, a beautiful wife, caring friends, an unwavering faith. Success in both his professional and personal lives are set in stone; or so he thinks.
But suddenly, the good turns bad, and Greg's life begins to spiral downward, leaving him doubting and drifting. Finally, one unsuspecting failure on his part brings it all to a head. Now, everything he's ever prayed for, worked toward and dreamed of is slipping from his grasp - even his beloved Grace. For the first time in his life, he feels incompetent, insecure, and rejected by God as he has to make a choice. Will he risk everything for the one he loves?

Part II of the Grace and Greg saga "Because of Grace" continues a few years after their story begins in "For Love and Grace." Read "For Love and Grace" first, then enjoy its sequel "Because of Grace" as it moves the couple in their journey through life's pitfalls and tests their faith in themselves, in their relationship with each other and in their faith in God. "Because of Grace" begins a bit awkwardly as if the author isn't sure just how much of the couple's history should be revealed before she continues their story, however; it quickly has the reader engrossed in this romantic tale of two people experiencing life as a couple. Not only does the author tell their story, but she also develops the supporting cast of mentors, family, friends, and antagonists. The action is fast-paced with realistic villains and a scene with an angel. Kendra Norman-Bellamy has created an entertaining story that teaches life lessons that makes good reading for adolescents and adults.

Kendra definitely took me on a journey of love, dedication, repentance, and what are you willing to put on the line for the person you love. Again, reading the second book of the Grace Series, she met my expectations!

Another excellent story. This time Greg has a lesson to learn and he learns it along with everyone working on forgiveness. Now it's time to get to the third book in the series. Wonderful as always.

I really enjoyed the book. I was sitting at the edge of my seat wandering if Jessica would get better. I loved how the author put a slight twist to the ending.
