Double Down
Shadow Demon Lady Shade Loganazzi, lamenting the loss of her most recent lover, ends up in Monaco to enter a black jack tourney and forget her troubles with men and her life in general. She knows she’s to be summoned back home to marry a man she doesn’t even like, let alone love, and is determined to go out with a bang. She didn’t count on gambling away her freedom in another manner.
Caleb Marshapoltes, Djinn and cousin to the crown, knows what he wants when he sees it, and he very much wants Shade. An enigma on the supernatural betting circuit, she’s harder to place a bet on then a winner in the 4th. But Caleb is smart, and knows that the woman that haunts his every thought is exactly the kind of woman he could end up with as a consort, something he didn’t even consider until laying eyes on Shade.
When they come face to face in the qualifiers, egos rear and lust flames as the two set to one upping each other… and in the process find out that what burns white hot between them could be meant for always, if they can figure out how to get her out of a loveless marriage.

With the different kinds of paranormals out there; demons, angels, witches, goddesses, there are plenty of books for the paranormal lovers to read. We all have our favorite authors; the one’s that when their new books are released, we snatch up a copy right away. One of my favorite paranormal writer’s is SA Price. They take the paranormal and add their own twist to things.
That is the case in their new book Double Down. They bring a new twist on the different rules that paranormals have. In this book we are dealing with a Shadow Demon (I’ve never heard of them before) and a Djinn. Both of which have some very interesting qualities about them, and both of them are sorta scary in their own ways.
Shade has that aura about her; she is used to getting what she wants no matter what. It was great fun to see her knocked down a step or two during this book. Caleb was just hot times a hundred. I don’t see why Shade was so against being with him, but let me say, I’m glad that it worked out between them.
This book has a lot of amazing sex, things that wouldn’t normally be possible, yet they are still great to fantasize about. If you are looking for another steamy read, with that twist of the unnatural, this is the book for you. I couldn’t put it down once I had finished reading it, and it kept me wanting more and more!

The Price Sisters waste no time in getting down to business with this story. You will meet Caleb, a Djinn, that is sexy, mouthwatering and knows what he wants. Then you have Shade, a Shadow Demon, with a sexual appetite that rivals her soon to be Djinn.
The tension between these two is palpable. When they take a gamble and choose to act on their needs the sparks fly and you will not believe what these two will do together. Caleb and Shade are magnificent together. They both have the I don't give a shit attitude and love the way they live, not answering to anyone and being on their own until their relationship shifts. Then they take the biggest gamble of their lives. I could not break away from their journey. Add this to your must read list!!!

A great second book in a set of e-novellas by the Price Sister. I loved the Djinn when I met them the first time but Caleb takes the cake. There is just something about a man who is dominant and confidant enough in himself that he can be with a woman as equally confidant. Lady Shade is a beautiful creature of her own that captivates and enthralls with her wit and strength. The story is short, sweet, and simple in a way that is enchanting and more than a good bit naughty. I would say it is a must read for any lover of erotic fiction with a paranormal twist. Lovely job ladies cannot wait to read more!

Another great story from S.A.Price. They have managed, yet again, to combine paranormal romance with humor and more than it's fair share of steamy erotica. Caleb is down right sexy, from his take control attitude to his passion for living life on his terms. Shade is a woman who also likes to live the way she wants, not wanting to fulfill her family's expectation of how they think she should. Together they make a very charismatic duo. I highly recommend this magical tale.

Shade is a Shadow Demon. Annoyed that her last toy boy she discarded has rejected her for so called love Shade has found herself in Monaco to play the tables and satisfy her needs.
Caleb is a Djinn, he is used to getting what he wants and since spotting Shade in Monaco he wants her!
When Caleb and Shade meet the games instantly begin between them. Soon though Shade's past catches up with her and a deal with Caleb could be her only way out. Can Shade accept Caleb's terms for their deal and will their arrangement end up being more than either of them expected.
Double Down was a great quick read and one reader will thoroughly enjoy.

A fast paced story that pulled me in starting at page one. Shade, a shadow demon, has met her match in Caleb, a powerful djinn. A little playful bantering over a high stakes blackjack game and this couple heat it up. I devoured this book and can’t wait to read more from Stella and Audra Price.
