Take five girls, five sexual fantasies, one night of drinking, and you get the idea of a lifetime: a blind date where all bets—and clothes—are off.
Thirty-year-old Robyn is the first of the crew to take the plunge, and she’s less than excited to be the first guinea pig. Being totally in the dark about her mystery man has her nerves—and desires—on edge. But when she ends up in an ice bar, the heat of night threatens to melt the place to the ground.
Justine lives in the Midwest, happily catering to her family, which consists of a horse-obsessed teenage daughter, and three dogs. She’s never moved from her hometown, but hopes to grow old in a much warmer climate.
During the day she works a normal job with college students who try their best to keep her young. They’ve done a good job thus far. At night, said teenage daughter and her horse require mounds of love and attention. The weekends belong solely to her and her writing. That’s when she morphs into a sticky bug, unable to leave the confines of her computer chair. It’s not a hobby for her; it’s an obsession. One she loves and one she loves to share.
I was lucky enough to be a "test" read for this book. I can say, this is "Shades of Grey" for actual adults. I loved the book, and even though the genre may not be for everyone, as a female, whether you admit it or not, this starts with the types of conversations you would have with your girlfriends. It then moves to what we all would then do: fantasize that those conversations become real. Justine nailed what females fantasize but may not talk about. Move over 50 Shades, I can't wait for the other stories!
