Disgustingly charming, electrifying, and romantic. Fucking fabulous, basically.
I'm just so, so happy. It's that kind of read. There are dates and awesome friendships andd paparazzi and tweets and tension, but, most importantly, there is steady, unquestionable love through it all - a love that deepens naturally and starts with an adorable, flirty, openly mutual crush.
zarah5 is a stunning Larry writer. All the characters are on point, the writing and atmosphere are clear and sharp, and the plot, while not always innovative, is never boring or trite, because she can add spice and excitement to a storyline that's been done before like few others can.
Surprisingly enough, both Harry and Louis manage to refrain from monumentally stupid actions borne out of heartbreak-generated spite, unlike what happens in most of the romance stories that involve a (is it a spoiler though? Not really - you can't not expect it), choosing the loving and self-sacrificing route instead. (It is absolutely lovely.) Lottie's the stupid one here. And when I say stupid, I mean monumentally idiotic and selfish. (It's honestly a bit too much for it to be believable. Or tolerable. But it happens quickly, so it's relatively painless and fully made up for by Louis's response.)
This is definitely came from a cute and too good to be true prompt. But I love me some fantasies, so. Oops. Something about a famous person meeting a commoner makes a cute love story. Don't get me wrong. This one also gets a tad bit angsty at the end. It's a perfect read for those days you need something swoony and sexy and sweet.
I liked it, even though it was a bit unbelievable. I know that this is fiction but I expected it to be a little more realistic. Nevertheless, it was a good fic and I loved zarah's writing style. Liam's character was absolutely my favourite.
