Gianni Moretti, Seattle cop meets Shelby Lynch dance instructor to teach him to dance so he doesnt embarass himself at his sisters wedding...He swears to show her some moves of his own.
I didn't really like this one. * This book just moved so fast, like breakneck speeds. * I just felt like we weren't allowed to fall in love with the characters ourselves. I didn't feel invested in them and their lives at all. * We got the stupid flirty comments between them, but we didn't get other interactions. It was 'they had dinner and talked' and that was it! And the flirting was cringe-worthy at points. She was trying to teach him to dance, and she told him he was stiff and he replied that he'd 'show her stiff' 🙄 Then she was joking about sex on the beach 🙄 * They had one date, and then he was introducing her as his girlfriend 🤦 * They'd known each other one month and he bought an engagement ring. * There was all this crap with his mother warning her off because she wanted him to marry someone else. But I just didn't care.
