Ellie Walker is the last person you’d ever expect to end up tolerating an abusive boyfriend but she somehow finds herself fully entrenched in an abusive relationship. After a brief run-in with a handsome stranger one night, she finally sees a glimmer of hope for a better future. After taking some time to reconnect with the person she was before the disastrous relationship, she runs into the handsome stranger who started her down this path all those years ago. But while, Devin Mills would seem to have all the makings of a Prince Charming, he doesn’t exactly make Ellie feel like a princess. And after everything Ellie has been through, should she really settle for anything less than the fairytale?

Devin Mills is rarely mistaken for a Prince Charming but that has a lot to do with the fact that the women he typically dates would probably eat Prince Charming alive. But can he recognize that Ellie is different and change his ways before she walks out of his life for good?
