Xavier Doolittle, a minor character from the novel, Times of Trouble, is the Secret Service Chief at the White House. We follow him when he first goes to college and begins abandoning the Christian life. Eventually, he begins working for the government, where they confuse him when it comes to what he believes. When the End Times approach, he discovers his attitude has been completely wrong in this short story in the End Times Saga.
I'm a Christian first and foremost. I live in Fort Worth, TX, but from Arizona and looking to move back to Mesa. I have a BA and Technical Writing Certificate from University of North Texas. I won 3rd in a short story contest for a magazine through my high school Creative Writing class. I've been independently published since 2008.
I'm a fan of a bunch of different genres, which is why a lot of my novels are different genres. From time travel to alternate history to lite sci-fi to Christian end times/political thrillers.
As a reader, I loathe novels with tons of minutiae where the author describes everything down to practically its atomic structure, so I write fast-paced novels and I try not to get bogged down in unimportant details that go on and on and on for page after page.....
Returned to writing after almost 10 years away.

I really liked your book called" Xavier Doolittle." I thought it made me feel like we may be in the midst of this type of thing right now! I gave this book and author five stars for a well-written End Times Sage adventure type of story. A short one but yet hard to put done till one finishes the story. I I liked the plot, characters, etc. This was a very clean story it had no swearing in it what so ever. And neither has any other of his books that I have read which are : "Times of Turmoil," or " Times of Trouble." this was my third book now that I have read lately and for the first time this last year and now into the year of 2014. I recommend this book for those who love to read these types of books that I have already mentioned. I received this book free in exchange I am doing this review for the author and for those who may wish to know about this author and type of book ! I think even unbelievers could and should read this as it may shed light on what 's likely to happen maybe not exactly like he told it in his book(s) but it could be very close to it? Anyway I see it's very possible to happen and soon. Also Christians may find it very worthwhile to read soon ,too! Great job Cliff! Keep up the great work! By Angela
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I rated this book a 3 because by it being a short story it was rushed. it left me with confusion and like wth just happened. The story was going along then just went left. 3 stars is also because the writing was good and the story had really good potential for a full novel but for this to be a saga/series there should have been more. I didn't know if i was reading a book from the end of the series and maybe I missed a whole bunch that is told in the previous books but as I looked through the other books it doesn't appear that they are thoroughly connected. I would probably read a full novel by the author because as I said before the writing style and concepts are good.
This book is short but powerful. Xavier is a Christian who believes that God wants him to go to work for the Government. Unfortunately the government is hostile against Christians. You will have to read it to see what happens. I'm glad I read this short book. It really made me think.
A good add-on to the Times of Trouble series, but works well as a stand alone book too. I like the short stories that provide a microscopic view of one or two of the characters in the trilogy. It would be helpful to read the trilogy first, but not necessary.
