Wow! Unless D.T. changes something from this book between now and it's release date, I am gonna go ahead and say I loved it. I liked the first book enough, but had some issues with a couple of things. However, this one, I think I loved every second of it.

In this book Kat is kidnapped... again but this time it's by the for-real enemy. So much takes place in this book that I was literally flipping pages as fast as my eyeballs could keep up so that I could find out what happened next.

I don't really want to go too much into the book because I don't want to give anything away or reveal anything that may have been a result from the last book. So I will try to keep this as vague as possible but the ending reminded me of Dreamfever by KMM. So if you are a fan of that series, or that particular book from the series, like I am, than you're gonna love this series. Kat is stubborn and believes that she can take on anything but she has no idea how deep the situation is until she's waist deep in it and can't get out. Then her man-candy has to come and save her from her own stupidity. Ha! Sorry Kat but sometimes you do the stupidest things. *shakes head*

I really wish I could go into detail on my favorite parts from this book but if I did, I'd be giving away some spoilers and I hate giving away spoilers. So what I will say is this, this book picks up more suspense and more smut than the last book did. D.T. definitely thought outside the box when it came to a couple of topics that came up in the story and I felt that she executed them really well. She could have gone the easy route and taken a left turn but instead that chick decided to pull a U-ie and go off roading with the story. The ending is a major cliffhanger that makes me want to slap someone but at the same time I don't want to because I don't want to be detained when the next book comes out. So instead I will sit here quietly but mentally urging the author to hurry up and release the third book so that I can get some Jason and James time!

Book two in Kate Scratch trilogy picks up right where we left it. Kate is now with James, accepting her role in the leopard community and preparing to fight against Nicholas. Kat-napped is a fast story, with easy and fluid language.

This one is even shorter than the previous one and it changes constantly. Page after page we are surprise with new turns of events and more bombs dropping everywhere. There are so many things you don’t see coming and they are really shocking which is why the book should be labeled as dangerous for weak hearts.

In this book we see a complete view of James and to be honest I didn’t like him as much as I wish. He is a great alpha male, protective, territorial and sexy as hell. Up to this point I love him, however, he has some attitudes that are unacceptable. I’m used to the alpha males Dara writes about and I love them but I think James pushes it too far for moments and when you need him the most he is almost useless.

Kate continues being our stubborn, brave and decided leading lady. She grows up as character but we ended up seeing a vulnerable and broken side of her. Is good to see how she acts without thinking straight and how this affects the course of the story.

There is a great twist in this story with the addition of Conrad. I won’t say much because I don’t want to spoil anything. But I love this fact.

Dara does an excellent job with the sex scenes (again) I think she has a talent to narrate these scenes that you can't fake. She is great with topics that might seem a bit strong for others.

Overall, it is a great sequel with awesome characters, and atmosphere of constant danger and tension. The huge cliffhanger at the end will leave you waiting for book three.

And the evil genius is back. Once again I am left desperate to read the conclusion to a D.T. Dyllin trilogy and this time I have absolutely no idea how long I'm gonna have to wait. This is the down side to agreeing to Beta reading, especially when the story is as captivating as this one.

Once again you are drawn into a story that refuses to let go until you have read every word, which is exactly what happened to me. Just a few short hours is all that it took for me to devour this book in one sitting. This book has sex. By the bucket-load and then some. Smoking hot sex scenes that leave little to the imagination. But do not be fooled into thinking that this is all this book has to offer. This book has plot! We learn a little more about Kats family, we find out what happened to Marc, we get broken hearts, betrayal, a rescue and something I thought might happen but never really expected it so there was a surprise too.

Now please excuse my while I go sob into my pillow because I don't have the last book in the trilogy to read right now and I have no idea how long I will have to wait.

This review will be posted on my blog as soon as the cover is revealed!

*I received a beta copy of this book from the author for review. Thanks!*

4.5 stars!

What the hell Dara? What kind of an ending is that? Seriously, I need the third book. Now.

Okay, this is going to be short. This is the sequel to Kat Scratch Fever and here we find Kat and James, who are happy in love. Yeah they fight a bit, but there are good surprises and then... Trouble comes luring back around the corner. Kat is kitnapped and things get seriously messed up and then... it ended. The book just ended. So I can't tell you more then that.

The story is still really good and compelling. I NEED to read what happens next. Right now.

Yeah I still like the characters and bla blabla. Why haven't I received the third book yet?

So kat does it again with leading herself right into trouble. I would like to say that she is incapable but by now we know differently. Basically James is betrayed by his friend Sebastian. Kat gets locked up and her temper gets away from her and leads her straight to him. I would like to say that everything is fine but it isn't. Kat becomes the property of vampires and learns the real truth of rock bottom. I see the only positive thing is that Jason and James are working together to free Kat.

Ok again the characters bring some real drama to the story.
