I'm not going to add each of the indivdual 17 volumes I binged of this. But god damn, what a masterpiece. I can see why it was the second highest selling manga in the world last year (after Demon Slayer), despite only being (legally) released in Japanese and French. GIVE US AN ENGLISH RELEASE WHAT THE HELL.

Dopo la morte di Ouki, il Qin si è impoverito militarmente agli occhi degli altri Stati e il pericolo di un’invasione è sempre più concreto.
Stupisce, quindi, che Riboku (diventato primo ministro dello Zhao) proponga al Qin un’alleanza militare, che il cancelliere Ryofui accetta (in cambio Zhao dovrà cedere una città strategicamente importante).

Intanto Shin, Sei e Ten dovranno impegnarsi come non mai. Entro cinque anni Shin dovrà diventare un Generale, così facendo potrà conquistare terre a nome del Re Sei. Ma lui non è il solo che sogna di diventarlo.
La famigerata unità Hi Shin si ritroverà a competere con l’unità di Ouhon e quella di Mouten.

Oh dang, we got internal conflict now. Alliances being forged, Shin coming up against 'allies' with similar goals that cause them to compete with him, and a new faction with strenuous ties to Ryo and Sei's factions. Qin certainly got a big shake-up after the loss of Ouki and it looks like titles and merits are up for grabs.

A Qin-Zhou Alliance.
Sei/Shin are now 17yo. Sei gives Shin 5 years time to gain achievements/merits to become a general.
Meanwhile, Sei options to join hands with a third faction, The Royal Harem, with his Queen Mother.
Getting juicy.

Après de superbes arcs articulés autour de la guerre et des champs de bataille, nous voici plongés dans ce tome au cœur de l'art des négociations avec la rencontre Ryo Fui/Riboku. C'est aussi le début d'une nouvelle ère après la perte d'Ouki, avec l'apparition de nouveaux personnages prometteurs, futurs rivaux ou alliés de Shin, tous à la poursuite du même rêve: devenir un Grand Général sous les Cieux.
La transition est fluide mais soutenue, on ne s'ennuie pas, on apprécie le sang frais et on nous promet de grandes choses à venir avec l'implication du Harem Royal qui semble jouir d'une grande influence.
