The seven bastard sons of Guillaume d'Anzeray are on a mission to find wives -- women to breed the next generation of a dark dynasty that many wish to see extinct.
It won't be easy to find brides from among the powerful Norman nobility, for the d'Anzeray are upstarts, men of war, their family's fortunes raised through bloodshed and violence. As one holy man and chronicler of their times has written, "From the devil they came and to the devil they will return".
But these brothers don't care much for holy men or for what is written about them. Now, with the future of their bloodline at stake these mercenary warriors need wives and they have no scruples when it comes to claiming the women they desire. Nothing and no one stands in their way. Not even a few difficult, quarrelsome wenches who think they can resist capture once these powerful hunters have them in their sights.
It's a good thing the d'Anzeray don't mind sharing the spoils of victory with their brothers. It just might take all seven of them to bring this harem to submission.
Georgia Fox lives in the countryside on twenty peaceful acres. Harsh in the winter, but heavenly in the summer. She loves good company, good movies, good books and excellent brandy. She enjoys sun in the mornings, but in the late afternoon it makes her sad. Her favorite kind of holiday is a cabin surrounded by woods on a private tidal cove. In her life she’s done a little bit of everything and somehow lived to tell the tale.
She doesn’t believe in fairies, ghosts, flying saucers or conspiracy theories. But she still believes in love.
Quite kinky and steamy story to read. I had a feeling of déjà vu while read it, but still it was enjoyable and easy to finish. I'm tempted to read the next book in the series.
Georgia is one of my favourite authors, and she proves why yet again with the first book in this new series.
In her inimitable Georgia style she captures the reader's attention from the first page and doesn't let you go, until you've read the whole book. Hot, emotional and oh so deliciously naughty, this is a fantastic read.
Seven delicious heroes to get to know. I can't wait :-)
I am not into the gangbang, orgies, anal, or sort of kink. I guess I'm that vanilla girl. So at first I didn't want to read this series, but still read it because the length of pages. And I found it interesting enough to finish it, but don't get me wrong, I'm still that vanilla girl.
