Emme Rollins is a NEW YORK TIMES Bestselling Author of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She’s been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.

She has two degrees, a bachelor’s and a master’s, one of which she’s still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the “real world,” because when she isn’t writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.

She loves tending her beehives and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer dog, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!

Emme loves hearing from fans, so feel free to use the contact page on her site to connect with her. (www.emmerollins.com)

(*I was given an ARC of this set in exchange for this honest review*)

This box set is such an unexpected treat! It's a deal at full price, but gah, the .99 sale is ridiculous! I had already read Random Acts of Crazy, but the other books were also excellent. Some I had not heard of or was on the fence about taking the one click plunge. Let me just say, each one of these books is beautiful in their own way (some a scoonch more than the others) but each so worthy of individual purchase. Which is why you must buy this!

I hope that more authors get together and do this. It introduced me to several new authors and some truly lovely stories. They are each very distinct and unique to fit multiple moods without ever feeling repetitive. Each book featured the theme that the characters' pasts were shaping and deeply affecting their presents in a way that required tough decisions and growth to ensure a happy future. And they were also all fun, steamy and intensely readable.

Dear Rockstar: 4 stars (UPDATE - 5 stars!!!!). First, let me say that Dale is the most sigh-worthy hero I can think of right now. Their schmexy scenes are beyond hot. Now, the plot - Such an honest telling of what happens when you instantly fall in love with someone and then need to sort through the rubble of each other's lives, histories, weaknesses and fears in the aftermath of the incendiary bomb that is the power of such a new, deep love and attraction. Sara is a nut. Her obsession with the rock star isn't so bizarre but for the fact that she is *19*! We were all there at one point in our tweens and early teens - having a crush on a big star - that is part of the normal emotional development process of young girls IMHO, but Sara has gone through horrible trauma that has stunted her emotional growth and caused her fanaticism to turn into a fully developed fantasy world and future plans. Dale sees through it all (thank God) and they heal each other through love (he has a few issues from the past of his own to work through). Their secrets weren't a huge surprise and the end was a tad rushed but it was still totally beautiful. I WISH there were more of this book, maybe a novella down the road? Or story of a bandmate to catch up with our lovely hero and heroine, because it did end a bit abruptly. Oh, and LOVE the 80's setting. It made me feel nostalgic and romantic and I just realized I put on cut off jeans and an off the shoulder studded tee today - it must be from my late night reading of Dear Rockstar!

UPDATE - I originally gave 4 stars because I wanted a longer more developed ending.

I updated this review to five stars after further reflection on the beauty of the book and learning that a sequel is being written, so the speedy ending that left me wanting more is now just a teaser for more!

Random Acts of Crazy: 6 stars. Yeah, I know the limit is 5 stars, but I just adore this book. It is the only one of the set I had already read and it is on my top 10 of 2013 and always makes me happy just thinking of it. The characters are hot, sensitive, well thought out and addicting. My 5 star review from back in the day is here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RLS0KKJZ...

Mad For You: 5 stars. I would never have heard of this book but for this box set, which makes me even more grateful for these authors pulling their works together like this. It is mature, sexy, sophisticated but deeply innocent in a way that is hard to match. I really liked the hero and heroine both and the back story scenes were phenomenal. It broached truly deep issues about regret and the lifelong ramifications and loss associated with taking the easier path when the other is just too scary and uncertain. Emma is tough, funny but insecure in ways that are totally believable. She gets a second chance to take a risk on the unknown and we are lucky to get to be there for the fireworks. It is the first in a continuing series about these two, but the author, Ms. Antonia, doesn't torture us with a crazy cliffhanger, just the promise of more wonderful storytelling about these two trying to make a go of it despite their obstacles and fears. Great all around.

Me, Cinderella?: 3.5 stars. I did really enjoy this book. The second it was done, I was DYING to read the next book and it really stuck with me. Eliot, the tortured intellectual is a refreshing new type of hero and Brynne is lovely, though infuriating and childish at times (hence docking her a .5 star down from my first instinctual 4 stars). Overall though, it is really great and engrossing. The next book promises to be riveting.

Dance for Me: 4.5 I cannot wait for more books in this series (each is a standalone with appearances from other couples)! This author really wove a unique tale about dealing with grief in negative ways, and the adult stage of moving on. Its just lovely. Let me leave it at that. The secondary characters are a total blast, too. It also tells a really sweet love story that I truly enjoyed.

I had already read Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollings, my review is here. I had also read Dance For Me by Helen Newbury, my review is here. They are both favorite books of mine. Even with having read 2 of the 5 books in this set, I grabbed it.  3 more books for 99 cents?  All of over that.

This set is full of sigh worthy books.  The ones that make you wish you were the heroine so you could be with the hero.

I ran the gamut of emotions in all of these books. I can’t even choose a favorite between the five.  I got done with each of them and had to stop myself from running and looking up the sequels.  I wanted to finish the set and if I had stopped to get a sequel, I would have started it right then and there because I had to know what happened.

Speaking of sequels, every single book in here while part of a series, can be read as a stand alone. I just knew that they were sequels.  No huge cliff hangers, I know that drives some people crazy.  I just want to know what happens in the rest of the lives of these characters.

I will be honest and say though I loved Random Acts Of Crazy, I texted my friend while I was reading it and said, one (naked found on side of road) guy likes a girl, and has no problem with his best friend (also eventually naked) liking her, in fact they….. yeah.  I don’t understand not being jealous, but that’s my personality.  What’s mine is mine and not yours. I don’t share.  Loved the book and want to know what happens next. I’m going to have to satisfy my curiosity with her Billionaire Series until the sequel comes out for this one.
Also, in Mad for You, there was one point where I didn’t understand Gabriel.  Didn’t get why he was doing why he was doing, why he did a complete 180, but it was explained later on, and that is the book that I want the sequel to the most. Just checked.  It’s not out yet!!! Oh Anna Antonia! If you need a reviewer for book 2…. I am all over that. :)
Me, Cinderella? oh the pain that is in Eliot’s heart.  I wanted to ease it myself. Must read the next one. Eek.  I have to wait for that one too. Aubrey Rose – must have next one!!!!! :)
Excellent box set!  For 99 cents you get 5 beautiful – hot hero – sigh inducing books.  All five of them I would pay full price for, to get them in the set?  Amazing.
I feel like I should go into more detail on each book, but in my cold medicine induced drug haze, I just have to say, I loved the whole set.  You cannot go wrong with this one.  If you love new adult, even if you have one or two of the books already, you will not find a better deal than this.

What more can you ask for? 5 great reviewed books in a bundle!

Honestly, I haven't read all of them, but I've read DEAR ROCKSTAR by Emme Rollins, and here's my thoughts on this book:

-----------------------------

When I was given the free copy by Emme Rollins herself in exchange for my honest review, I was over the moon, BECAUSE I'm a fan of rock star books. Although I was exposed to `80s music and trends by my beloved much older siblings, I was pretty much a baby during that decade. Therefore, I wonder how Dear Rockstar would work amongst rock star books available nowadays.

It was the story about Sara, who, in spite of her bitterness at home, had a very normal relationships with her girlfriends at the Iselin Academy, especially with Aimee - her best-friend. There was Dale, the new guy at the Academy, a resemblance of Sara's rock star idol, Tyler Vincent, had been attracted to Sara since the first time he laid eyes on her.

This book was very well written. I loved how the story flowed, and characters were developed. The way Dale and Sara interacts made this book different to other rock star stories I've ever read. There was no game being played. They showed their true feelings right from the start, and they were being blunt about it. And their story built up from there. I love them instantly.

The banter between Sara and Aimee seemed real. I can almost feel as I was one of them. Their friendship was BEEautiful -- Hahaha, once you've read it, you 'll get the joke.

Although the storyline was somewhat predictable, I enjoyed the book very much. The `80s setting was surprisingly didn't hold me from understanding the story. In fact, I recalled most of the icons, gossips and highlights from that decade. Looked like I wasn't that BABY baby after all.

Oh, did I mention that I love the lyrics of the song in this book? I want to hear them recorded. Especially the one that Dale wrote - something about 'Bonnie and Clyde'. And no, I don't want to spoil anything here. The lyric somehow got me captivated when I started reading it line by line. I could hear it in my head. I heard raw and sexy voice. Think about Michael Hutchence. God!

Furthermore, there was no single 'ultra-heroic' actions here. Every act in this book was plausible, suit each character's age.

Almost every scene seemed real. Almost. I was a bit reluctant on the hospital scene - it was kind of cliche, I might say. Why does every turning point moment has to be in the hospital? - but that's just it .

And guess what? I was glad the author didn't make Sara and Dale as an innocent virgin vs. an egomaniac sex god for that age. You see, they were just normal young adults that you could find in your own neighborhood, amongst your friends, even yourself.

So, if you're looking for a light reading material, this book is a choice that I'll recommend.

Dear Rock Star: 4.5 stars

Love it! Love Dale. And their band name Black Diamond. Sara has a tunnel vision. She's so focus on her obsession to Tyler Vincent she can't put two and two together that's right in front of her or even when Dale drop hints.

Ramdon Acts of Crazy: 2.5 stars

Ehhh... Didn't do it for me. It was boring and nonsense to me... You can skip this story.

Mad for You: 3.5 stars

Love Gabriel. He's a very likeable character. Emma is just so judgmental, insecure & drama queen.

Wish the book just ends in one. Found out there's more for this series. And the ending makes it like 50 Shades of Grey.

Dance For Me: 2.5 - weak 3 stars

Too much drama. Can't really relate to the characters and the story is stretch out to make it longer than it is. Though the timeframe of their lovelife is a whirlwind that happen in a span of 1 week and 1 date. Yes, 1 date and they were spewing out their I Love You's already to each other. You can skip this story.

Me, Cinderella?: 3.5 stars

It started interesting, then it slows then it just jump from extreme attraction that they have to hold off because Eliot's her professor and Brynn is his student. Then to being "what the hell! Let's do it." Especially after the traumatic event.

I tell you this book is a roller coaster. Since evidently their "happily ever after, the end part" is in fact not the end of the book. You'll be glad to know there will be another book coming up and there will be a conflict to their newly found relationship. *Sigh* It sure didn't last long.... Oh well. Until the next book... ;)

"Random Acts of Crazy" makes me what to be random and crazy. Darla was witty, sassy, fun, and a strong heroine. The story had you rooting for Darla to make her own way in life. It was easy to see that life had been super hard for her, but she was the type of person that made the best of any situation. Darla's character was one that was very realistic like an everyday person walking the streets. Trevor and Joe were both sexy, caring, and both always wanted things to go their way. I also loved the hilarious dialogue between all three of these characters. This is a great stand alone that will keep you wanting to find out what random act of crazy will happen next.

If you only buy the box set for this one book you will TOTALLY get your monies worth!!!! This is an amazing collection of story with outstanding authors. One-click this like yesterday and have days of reading!!!

Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollins :

Sara has been obsessed with the idea of Tyler Vincent for a while. He is her escape from the world and if she manages to win a contest that Tyler Vincent's funding he will really be her escape from her home with a full scholarship to a university in Maine. Dale is a new student and he has caught Sara's eyes. Dale seem to be everything she wants, doesn't help that he also looks similar to Tyler Vincent, is in a band and can help get front row tickets to Tyler Vincents Concert. Everything seems to be going good in their world until Sara wins the concert Tyler Vincent is hosting. Now she must choose to say with Dale and see him to go the Battle of the Bands or Leave to Maine and accept her Prize but leave Dale behind.

Wow, just loved this book. I think a lot of girls and women can relate to Sara's character. I liked how real she felt. I loved the connection between Dale and Sara. At times I felt that Sara was selfish though I felt that she let her obsession take too much of her. Meaning if Dale didn't look like Tyler Vincent would she have given him a chance. Or How she was way into her relationship to be more loyal and caring towards her friend. I liked how caring and patient Dale was to Sara. I enjoyed the overall story and thought that this book was well written. This book is great and I think you lovely readers will enjoy reading this book.

4.5 of 5 stars!

Random Acts of Crazy (Random #1) by Julia Kent

"Like see many other lessons in life, you just have to try it an see what you experience."

While driving down the road Darla comes across a naked hitchhiker sporting a collar and a guitar. Figuring this guy was harmless because really were would he be hiding a weapon? She drives him to her house. The attraction is instant and then Darla comes to find out why this guy is familiar; he is in a band that she loves. When calvary arrives to bring Trevor back home his band mate, Joe, comes to find that their ride back is damaged and they are stuck till they can find a mechanic. The attraction between Joe and Darla now is hard to get away from, can Darla really have an attraction to two guys?

At this point I'm not even sure how to write this review. Many times though out the book I've been wondering what the heck am I reading. Steamy scenes were great. The story I guess was good but in the end I couldn't help what next. The thing that bothered me most was that Darla picks up a hitchhiker and a naked one at that. Who walks around like that? I would assume the guy is crazy and could be some weird rapist. Just because he doesnt have weapons don't mean he can over power her. The thing is this isnt the first naked hitch hiker shes picked up. I get that shes trying to be nice and helpful, but why at that risk. Couldn't she get someone else to help him? couldn't she pick up a friend to be there for back up? Couldn't she at least have a weapon for safety. I mean what ever can happen will? Just that bugged me a lot. This isnt the first trailer girl book that I've read that comes across a rock star but this girl just seems to be the stupidest girl I've read about. I mean the story was good, just like the many others I've read but grr something is off about this book. Other then that there were a couple of interesting and funny points that I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. I loved that there was more more then one point of view. The story line was a bit off that left the readers questioning what happens. I just realized that this book is apart of a series so maybe answers will come from the next book.

This book was 3 stars for me. I wish that there was more to this book. Maybe I'll check out the next book, maybe I wont. There was the surprise factor to this book to keep the readers wanting more but I don't know something was off that I'm not sure I want to know what happens next.

Mad For You (Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Love #1) by Anna Antonia

Emma had her heart broken once by the arrogant Gabriel and refuses to let him get past her walls again. Little did she know that she would see him again when her job relocates forcing her to see Gabriel once again. Once they see each other old feelings start to resurface but with Emma old insecuities come out as well. Will they be able to get over the past and try to make room for the future?

Very predictable and still very enjoyable. At first I had a hard time connecting to the book, but once I got into it within a couple of pages I just couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed this book and Loved the characters. There's Emma who had her share of insecurities with the way things ended with her and Gabriel and then there's the insecurity of the past that made sure she was aware of her social status and his. Emma works hard for what she wants and I feel like at times she was selfless. Gabriel is a rich guy who gets what he wants and has the money to throw at you if needs be. I liked that Emma was cautious. That even if she agreed to be with her she made sure to remind herself of what happens and to stand her ground at certain points. I liked that she was the reason Gabriel wanted to be a better person and attempt to do things on his own rather then letting others get it for him. The book was great, a bit steamy in the end.

Overall I enjoyed the book its worth 4 of 5 stars and I look forward to seeing the next book.

Me, Cinderella? by Aubrey Rose

Brynn Tomlin is a hard working math student with her sights set on the internship that will ship her to Budapest. Brynn when to a cafe and saw a lonely stranger outside sitting in the cold. Money is tight and she barely had money but with a stroke of luck she found some money and brought herself and the stranger coffee. Up close to the stranger she realizes wasn't homeless as he first appeared but looked decent and just one look in his eyes stirred some deep feelings that are new to her.

Eliot is a Mathematician who is still grieving the loss of his wife and has pretty much closed himself off to those around him. That goes to say he's shocked when a random generous girl hands him a cup of coffee. When he sees her she seems to bring out the old feeling he once used to have.

Brought together again by a test and a trip to budapest both of them slowly start to fall for each other. The problem is, shes a student and he's a professor and it can be complicated. Will they be able to get past their pasts and learn to love one another?

"After so much damage, I cannot fully trust words. Unlike mathematics, words can be twisted too easily to deceive, to cover up to hurt."

Me, Cinderella? is about two broken people with pasts that are hard to forget and get past. Both will learn to heal their wounds and learn to love and trust. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the characters. I loved how real they seems and they were very likeable. I loved the connection between the two. I loved that there was two points of views of both Brynn and Eliot. I loved the cover of the book, its interesting and beautiful. The title and the cover was what draws me in for the book. I never had actually read the description when I signed up for the book, it took a leap of faith hoping this book was good and end up finding its a great book. I think my only problem is that there wasn't enough conflict. After was it was over I was hoping for more, thats why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Overall I loved this beautifully written book and recommend you lovely readers to check it out.

"They say time heals all wounds, but not always. Sometimes woulds pucker over and leave scars, and sometimes they heal silently and secretly, so that only one person knows the hurt was over there."

Dance For Me (Fenbrook Academy #1) by Helena Newbury

"You got to hang on to your past, but f you let it own you, it'll kill you."
Natasha has a secrets that the only thing that makes her sane is dancing and cutting. Darrell is a engineer who is looking for a muse. Lately he's been introduced to ballet and is looking for a muse to help him with his project. Darrell decides to offer Natasha money for her to dance and she accepts his offer. Little did they know was that sparks was going to fly and deepest secrets were going to be revealed.

I really enjoyed this book. This book was fun and easy to read. I loved the characters and I liked that there was both the POV of Darrell and Natasha. It was easier to understand their situation when I got each of their point of views. I like that there was a growth in the characters and the readers can see the characters slowly change to better themselves. I thought the story was well written. Overall I loved the book and think you readers would enjoy this book. 4 of 5 stars.

A fantastic compilation of awesome stories!

I'd already read some of them on their own (Random Acts of Crazy and Dear Rockstar) but hadn't discovered some of the gems inside. Me, Cinderella was a beautiful story! Easily one of my favorites. The cover for it just made me intrigued.
