Beautiful and honest. The Cohens are an amazing family whose love and dedication to one another is extraordinary and sometimes harder to survive than the injury itself. Given to me years ago by a student nurse when I was first injured, I’m the last in my family to read it. It was finally time. A must read for anyone in the health care industry or who has a family member sustaining a life changing physical or brain injury.

This story is about people in my family! Most literally. However they are second or third cousins so I didn't know them until more recently. I was so moved to read this story, and I'm so glad that this family of mine is now much closer. This book is powerfully written and I recommend it highly.
