When Ellie has to move from the countryside where she grew up to the city, it all seems very strange. There are no birds, no ducks to feed, and the night sky is so dark. Then Ellie meets a giant starling who tells her that the birds are lost, and shows her what she needs to do. It explains to her about light pollution and soon Ellie has a plan to put into action. But will it work and will it help the birds to find their way home?

It's a lovely book, with gorgeous illustrations and a message of hope.
