This is indeed the perfect ending to the perfect, heart-pounding Kiera Hudson Series Two. Spanning 18 books and two series, Kiera’s story is finished, for the moment. But rest assured Kiera Hudson lovers of the world, she’ll be back. In fact, based on this ending, I’m certain they will all be back, and I’m already on pins and needles in anticipation.

O’Rourke is one of my all-time favorite authors, encompassing all things paranormal in his pushed worlds—alternate versions of the world you and I know—worlds where vampyrus run underground and lycanthrope walk the earth in human skin. The very first series blew me away, and when that series ended, I was devastated, but with the spin off, Kiera Hudson Series Two, readers are thrust back into Kiera’s world, and it’s so seamless, so perfect, that words cannot suffice.

In this final installment of the second series, Kiera must once again make a choice. Will she choose her own happiness, or that of her friends? It’s difficult, but knowing Kiera, and after 18 amazing, detailed books, I’d say readers know her fairly well, it’s a given that she’s going to do the right thing, no matter how much pain it will cause her, or readers, for that matter. I was brought to tears near the end as it all comes to a head--the characters in this novel are like family for me; I know them that well and love them that much, and I lived their pain alongside them. Thankfully, O’Rourke ties it all together neatly at the end, presenting both Kiera and readers with hope. It is beautiful, and the third spin off series is going to be epic, if O’Rourke’s imaginative capabilities and foreshadowing is any indication (which it is). Five amazing, superb stars.

We have reached the end my fellow Kiera junkies. I have never been so attached to characters like I am with Kiera, Potter, Isidorable, Kayla, Murphy, Melody, and the rest. I started the Kiera Hudson series back in 2011. When the only book out in the series was 'Vampire Shift.' I have waited patiently, along with the rest of Tim's die-hard fans, for each new additon.

There have been other series that I have followed, one of which became a famous T.V. show, but I usually get burnt out by the 7th or 8th book in. That was never the case with this series, though. This is book 18 ( 18!!!!), besides the run-offs and prequels, but I never got tired of it. Quite the opposite. I always wanted - no, needed- more. And I still do.

Dead End is just like the rest... freaking outstanding! As usual, my heart was constantly running a race, I wanted to read it so fast, yet savor every moment, and I shed some tears. My beloved family ( aren't they yours by now as well) and their worlds came to an end. It is bittersweet to say the least. My heart is sad, yet full at the same time. I don't think Tim could have ended the series in a more perfect way! I now have so many questions of to where things will go from here ( as usual with Tim's books), but one thing is for certain... I know series 3 will be a flipping amazing ride! Thank you, Tim, for giving us such kick a$$ adventures, phenomenal characters, and for continuing the series.

Is it too soon to ask for series 4? ; )

What a wild rollercoaster ride it has been and from the very beginning of Series one I was totally hooked on these books. The characters have such depth and empathy for each other although Potter did need to work on his “people skills” from time to time. The storylines explore the abilities and fragilities of the characters who are strong at times yet still vulnerable to those they love most of all. The relationships between the characters like Isidor and Melody, Kayla and Sam and of course Kiera and Potter are believable but challenging at times and therefore relatable, not that instant love connection which seems to be quite common now.
They become a ragtag family of sorts throughout Series 1 and Two. Tim's stories have something for everyone, intense emotions, full on adventure and thought provoking chapters that keep you guessing throughout the book. Tim is a master storyteller and you are captivated by the story lines as they are seamlessly woven together to form one big tapestry where all the threads are tied up quite nicely in this last book.
A fitting ending to this adventure in the “Pushed World” and Kiera once again chooses well and puts her heart on the line yet again. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the new series and one thing is for sure, it will never be what I expect and it will never be boring.

As usual, Tim leaves us wanting more! What an incredible end to the 2nd series. I don't know how he does it, but every loose end was tied up into a neat little package.

I cannot wait for the next series. I'm very happy that Kiera will be back to using her gift of "seeing" things and solving mysteries (so it seems). Maybe it's just me, but I felt like we didn't get to see much of her "sight" in the last few books, but we did in Dead End.

Tim still has me thinking about the dream Kiera had and wondering whether or not it will come true. For Kiera's and our sake, I hope it doesn't! Guess we just have to wait and see...

I've had goosebumbs, tears in my eyes, I was angry and sad, and very very happy.
So, all I can say is, thank you Tim O'Rourke for again this fantastic Dead End.

I love Kiera, Potter, Kayla, Isidor, Melody, Sam, Murphy and all the others, but most of all I LOVE YOU TIM, for giving me so many emotions by reading this book.

You know why I had tears in my eyes, and also about the goosebumbs.
You also know why I was angry, and than again so very happy ................
It doesn't need an explanation ...

You know what I mean by it, thanks again Tim.
Can't wait till winter is here.

What an ending! I was so upset for Keira's loss then she gets "pushed" right into a world with Potter :) I can't wait to see how things unravel in the next series. I so hope they get their chance at happiness together finally!

Great end to Kiera Hudson Series 2! I love the characters so much and have been a follower since the first book, Vampire Shift. The whole world and characters are addictive and you can't stop reading once you start that first book. Another great book from one of my favorite authors, Tim O'Rourke!
