There are stories of love, stories of loss. Stories you wouldn't think are real, and yet they are, of course they are, because the people who lived them are here to tell them. Stories of letting go, stories of moving on. Stories of second chances. Stories of people looking for something.Ghost stories, caught on paper to be real.
A work in progress. Sometimes writing, sometimes doing other things known as "adulting". Has too many unfinished manuscripts. Just a regular thirty-something trying to leave a mark, really.
I don't exactly know what worked for me. Everything, I guess. From the characters, the bitter sweet stories, the cities that I could almost smell, or the soundtrack, skipping in my head as I was reading.
Really, it reads amazingly and leaves you wanting to read more.
(My reaction was actually the following: "Oh! It's already over? But why?")
I dearly recommend the poetry of Miss Deroo, and will be on the lookout for her next works.
