A Suspenseful Romance that Captivates the Reader

S.E. Felida's romance, INCREDIBLE DREAMS, intrigues and engages the reader immediately. Felida is an excellent story teller and writer, adept at characterization, setting the scene, starting the action and keeping it moving forward. Her style is energetic and zesty but smooth, flowing from scene to scene quickly and easily.

She introduces her protagonist, Leona Martin, and Leona's friends, Alexandra, Alyssa, and Naomi - all successful young professionals in San Francisco - and takes us through their loves and relationships with such skill that they come alive in the reader's mind, as do her mother, father, and other characters. I felt like I was right there with Leona and her friends on the dance floor amid the sights, sounds, and fragrances of the night club, and in their continuing joys, struggles, and friendship. It was as vivid as a movie. Felida has a big talent for drawing the reader straight into the action.

She builds realistic and believable scenes from Leona's childhood to establish the history that led to her wariness of men. But now Leona meets a stranger, Nathaniel, whom she believes to be the man of her dreams, and soon she is rescued by him from a violent attack by another man. The romance takes her through a kaleidoscope of emotions, which Felida describes expertly.

Of course, the romance does not proceed without problems. There are misunderstandings, interference from a jealous woman, and other obstacles along the way. Also, Nathaniel's police work introduces a subplot with complications and suspense.

I might add that Felida has a great talent for dialog. Words spoken here are full of zingers, the kind of very real remarks people make in the heat of the moment. Some of these comments brought me some good laughs.

Caution for those who like G-Rated stories: This is not a Disney romance. There are several very explicit sex scenes. Not my cup of tea, but they are well written, and I believe they will appeal to many readers of romance, police novels, and suspense books. There also is a little profanity such as use of the “F” word, but it is appropriate for the story and characters.

The ending of INCREDIBLE DREAMS is a big shocker and will make readers want to read the second book in the series immediately. Patience. I think it is in the works and scheduled to be out by the end of the year.

Felida's writing doesn't just sit there on paper or a computer screen; it comes alive. It made me feel like I know Leona and her friends and am right there with them. It made me care about them, and that is what fiction is about.

If you like romance, lots of interesting personal interaction, scenes that jump off the page, and some suspense, this novel is for you. In my opinion, Felida is the kind of writer who could develop a large fan base and be hugely successful.

I was given an ARC in return for an honest review

WARNING THIS BOOK DOES CONTAIN A CLIFFHANGER.

It took me a few chapters to really get into the book, but once I did I could not stop reading. This book is so much more than just a love story. It's about friendship and how important those relationships are in life. I love that the story does not just focus on the main characters romance, but we also get to know the supporting characters very well also. There is action and suspense throughout the book. So many twists and turns in the story. I found myself thinking "wow that did just happen" many times. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who was connected to who and who was responsible for what.

Leona has a great group of girlfriends and a great career, but has never been in love. She has a hard time trusting and letting men in because she had a poor example growing up of how a man behaves. Her father was an alcoholic that treated her mother with disrespect and always put her down. That is until the man of her dreams, literally, shows up.

Oh Nate, he's HOT, a man in uniform, and he has a dirty, dirty mouth in more ways than one.

He comes to Leona's rescue many times. He is her knight in shining armor and sweeps her off her feet. Both Nate and Leona fall fast and hard for each other. However, they are both keeping secrets from each other, that have the potential to ruin what they have. I cannot wait to see how these secrets will play out in the next book as they are revealed.

Leona has two really good friend Alex and Alyssa, who happen to get involved with Nate's friends Joshua and Anthony ( I'm really hoping that these couples get their own books or at least a HEA). I loved Leona's friendship with Alex and Alyssa. They were extremely close and knew how to have a good time with each other. Then there was Naomi, I wanted to slap some sense into her, and yet I also felt bad for her being involved with a creep like Marcus. I'm hoping she comes to her senses and realizes what kind of man Marcus really is.

There is so much that goes on in this story and so many questions that need to be answered . I think that is my only complaint, that so much was left open and unresolved. I have so many speculations and ideas going through my head. Oh and that ending ahhh I don't even know what to think . I need book 2 NOW!!! Apparently if you couldn't tell I will definitely be reading the next part of Leona and Nate's story. This was a quick read that keeps you involved throughout and I
would definitely recommend it .

Review of Incredible Dreams by

4*
A copy of this book was given to me in exchange for a honest review.

This story was brilliant! I would defiantly recommend this book. It had romance, suspense, drama and hot sex scenes..what more could a girl ask for.
I loved the main characters Leona and Nathaniel. I thought they were such a cute couple.
Leona was funny, a caring friend and someone I could to relate to straight away. I loved that she was looking out for everyone and trying hard to help fix things between her and her friend Naomi.
And Nathaniel... Well he is defiantly my dream man. A sexy police officer with a tongue piercing and a little bit dominant in the bedroom- I literally couldn't ask for more in a book boyfriend. He was funny and loving and so cute when he was teasing Leona.

I also really liked Leona's friends Alyssa and Alex. They both have been through some awful times and I really hope we get more of their story and their HEA in the next book.

Without giving too much of the story away I'll just state that I obviously hate Marcus and I hope he gets what he deserves and I really don't know about Leona's friend Naomi. She has been so awful at some points but then she tries and redeems herself and I think I need more of the story before I come to a conclusion about her.

The plot itself defiantly kept me captivated. The romantic side was sweet and sexy and then the suspense part of the story kept me turning page after page even when I kept saying this was the last chapter for the night. I was dying to know what was going on, who was behind everything and what the story behind Marcus and Vivian was. And that ending!! I just couldn't believe it finished like that. I NEED the next book like right now.

The reasons I cant quite give this book 5 stars is because of very small issues really. The first being the repetitive use of some words which kept getting my attention and very small editing issues where I felt there was a word missing. There was also a time or two when I had to re-read a small paragraph because the flow of the writing wasn't quite there and I needed to re-read it to make sure I understood what had been said.

But this is a great story and yes this book does have a cliffhanger ending with some questions being answered and others not. So now I will be sitting here waiting not so patiently for the next book.

Incredible Dreams by S.E Felida is an awesome book, I absolutely fell in love with it, loved the characters and Felida writhing style, it was all around and amazing read.

This book is funny, heartwrenching and Hot as hell. Absolutely loved the chemistry between Leona and Nathaniel.

And the ending OMG , need book 2 like right now.

I won't go into the story because it would be easy to let spoiler slip.

Do your self a favor and read this book, plus there will be more to the story, can't wait for book 2

In this story Nathaniel (Nate) and Leona feel an instant connection with each when they first meet. It's a little different from other books I have read with characters having instant connections. In this story Leona has dreamed about Nate before she even meet him. Nate is literally Leona's dream guy.

The book was interesting. It has a little bit of everything in it. There was romance mystery, suspense, family issues, and a huge cliffhanger at the end. I never knew what was coming next. S.E Felida, kept surprising me with the twist and turns she wrote for the characters. The ending was an insane cliffhanger, that has me wanting more.

Incredible Dreams (Book 1, Dreams series) by S.E. Felida I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The book had everything I like and more. There was romance, suspense and intrigue, hot sex, good strong lead characters and support characters, Hot Sex, a gorgeous male lead (police officer with a tongue piercing - HELLO!!) and did I mention the HOT SEX?? Throughout the storyline is also laced with some comical moments, which helps relieve some of the heavier parts.

Leona, Alyssa, Alexandra and Naomi are flat mates and best friends. Throughout the difficult times in her past, Naomi has always been there for Leona. I don't want to give anything away with regards to the storyline, as it would be too easy to inadvertently give away a spoiler. What I will say is that Leona and her friends have the kind of friendship that many of us could relate to. S.E. Felida brings the characters to life so expertly, you feel that what they are going through, what they are doing, what they are feeling, they are doing it all in front of you. Every emotion, action, conversation, they all come alive and wrap you up and suck you in, until you can do nothing else but turn the page to see what happens next.

The storyline can flow from funny, to romantic, to hot and steamy, to suspense and to some dark plot lines without any problems. The author maintains a good balance throughout the book without detracting from the seriousness of the plot. The characters are all believable, some are likeable, some are hateful and others are just plain H.O.T! Nathaniel, need I say more? He is like the proverbial onion, peel away one layer and there's another one just waiting to be discovered.

Now anyone who follows my reviews, knows how much I hate reading a book, only to find the ending is a cliffhanger (I am not ashamed to say I have no patience!). Guess what? Yup, this one had a 'Holy Crap, No F**king Way Can This Be The Ending' type of cliffhanger! If I say I was waiting for my Kindle to say 'Ha only kidding, here is the rest of the story', will you think less of me?? Well I don't care, because that is exactly what I found myself doing! I sat there, with 100% read and unable to turn another page, did that stop me trying though?? Nooooo! Thankfully, my Kindle remains in one piece (probably because I was waiting on someone to tell me they had forgotten to send me the full file and here was the ending!!) so now I am waiting, somewhat impatiently, for book two. However, at this point, I have to hold my hand up and say kudos to S.E. Felida for providing an outstanding ending that never in my wildest dreams had I seen coming. It is one thing having a cliffhanger, it is another thing entirely to have the ending come right out of the blue and blind side you completely. If you have to end on a cliffhanger, then that is how I want them done EVERY time. I was left breathless and speechless. I felt like my heart rate was kicked up into dangerous territory and I loved it!

Would I recommend this book? Absolutely, without any hesitation.

I don’t normally read contemporary chick-lit or thrillers, but I found Incredible Dreams to be a likeable, easy read novel, with some dark twists.

Told in the first-person, the story centers on Leona, a young professional in her late-twenties who resides in San Fransico. She sees the man of her dreams while she’s out with her friends, and though she’s too shy to approach him directly, falls hard. Thinking she’ll never see him again, when putting off the advances of an unwelcome suitor while partying with her friends later that night, he comes to her rescue. Leona learns he’s a cop named Nathaniel (Nate). The two hit it off almost immediately, however, life isn’t all sun and roses – Leona’s best friend of her posse, Naomi, is in love with a jerk who can’t keep his hands off of Leona when he thinks Naomi isn’t watching. Leona comes from a rough childhood and has some significant daddy issues, and Nate has trouble from his past coming back to haunt him as well.

What I enjoyed about this book was the chemistry between the characters. Even though the focus of the novel centered Leona and Nate’s relationship, there was still a good sense of her friendships with her different friends, and you could get a solid feel early on with the difference in Leona’s relationships with different characters. I’d say there was more focus on Leona and Nathaniel’s relationship than the thriller part of the story. The latter half of the novel was when the action picked up, where the girls try to get Naomi away from her boyfriend. I’ll try to keep spoilers to a minimum, but let’s just say that Leona’s not a sit-on-her-hands damsel sort to let the menfolk take all the action.

In general, the dialogue sounded good, and the story progressed in a way that felt natural. I wasn’t sure where the plot was going, but it was entertaining.

My main complaint in the writing is that the author liked to name drop – I wouldn’t have noticed if it was only a few times, or it was something like saying Nickelback was on the radio, but it was very specific to what song was playing at the club, the types of shoes Leona was wearing, the booze they were drinking - I don’t know why that struck me as odd, but it distracted me from the story.

What held back this book for me was the ending. I was wondering how the author was going to wrap everything up in the last few pages, and while the revelation is definitely a jaw-dropper, it’s still a cliffhanger that to me feels more like a “to be continued” . Perhaps if I were to read the next volume and I’d be able to read the story as a whole, this would change my rating but, I love a solid ending – this one left me with quite a few questions. To be very fair to the author though, it was an ending I didn’t see coming.

In general, I think the book is aimed at readers who like novels that focus on the heroine’s relationships, and want a little more thrill and danger than their typical romantic fare.

I have had books confuse me, upset me, spin me around in circles, leave me wanting more, give me moments of fright, make me say "what the.....", make me happy, make me angry and so much more. I am pretty sure that Incredible Dreams hit every single one of those and maybe more. Leona has a dream of this super hot guy, then while out with friends she is convinced that she sees him. Of course she sees him when her friends aren't around. Then while out later that night Leona sees him again! This story is completely crazy, and I mean that in a good way. You get romance, and mystery. I think you get just about everything but the kitchen sink in this one. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Just when I thought I might have it figured out...Nope I was wrong and then the story took a completely different turn. So if you are looking for something that is completely different that will keep you guessing with just about every page turn, then you have found your story! I am giving Incredible Dreams 3 1/2 stars and since I always round up that means 4 stars. Now, before I upset anyone with my low rating of this one let me explain a little (hopefully without giving too much away) there are just way too many unanswered questions for me to rate this any higher at this time. I am sure when the next book comes out I will be able to rate this higher. But right now I have more questions than answers and since that drives me completely nuts....that is why I am rating it the way that I have. All and all Fabulous book and I am on pins and needles waiting for the next book to come out. Until then, I think I might go crazy coming up with possible scenarios and my own answers.

My Short Synopsis -

This story begins with Leona spotting the man that she has dreamt about while out with her friends. Leona is very guarded when it comes to men. She had a troubled childhood with an alcoholic father that treated her mother horribly. Nate, the dream man, is quickly attracted to Leona after running into her at a club and saving her from an aggressive attacker. While falling for Leona, Nate is focused of avenging his brother’s death. One event after another comes into play and tests the growing relationship that these two have begun.

My Thoughts -

Incredible Dreams is this author’s debut. It is obvious that the author put her heart and soul into this book. I found the plot to be multifaceted. Many different stories seemed to be happening at the same time. Just when you think you know the direction of the story, an event occurs and changes the plots course. For that reason, I was left with more questions than answers as I reached the end of this installment.

Several characters were introduced and sometimes I wasn’t sure what their place in the story was meant to be. The two main characters, Nate and Leona, were both likeable enough but I would have liked to see more development between the two of them before they suddenly fell madly in love in the midst of chaos.

Overall, I think this story holds great promise. I have high hopes for future installments in this series. This one certainly ends with a bang of a cliffhanger that has you saying …What the heck just happened?!?

This book was okay and I do want to read the second one. With that being said I did feel that at times it jumped a bit. It was also mentioned several times about some of the girls’ pasts and things that happened in them. I felt sometimes I was missing something. That maybe there were other books first that I hadn’t read but there aren’t. Leona has a dream that seems so real to her. She dreams of a man that she has never meet but feels so close to him in the dream like she has meet him before. Then she does meet him, in fact he saves her from being attacked. Nathaniel is a police officer. He has been looking for the person(s) who killed his brother for more than a year now. Things start off a little rocky between Nate and Leona at first. Leona has had a horrible past and finds it hard to trust especially men. Nate is different though. She feels safe with him. There are things Nate doesn’t tell Leona and he does it to protect her and there are some things that Leona doesn’t tell him for other reasons. A lot happens in this book. There are lots of secrets and mystery. Nate has two friends and they are dating two of Leona’s friends. The girls have a forth friend, Naomi and she plays a big part in the book. Naomi’s exboyfriend, Marcus is a sneaky, sneaky man. He is up to no good and is just one of the suspenseful things in the book. This book has romance, alpha males, mystery, suspense, and more. While it has all this I do wish it was written a little better in some places of the book. I do look forward to reading the next book.

I’m on the fence with this book. On the one hand I enjoyed the twists and turns that the author takes the characters on but on the other hand, the story just doesn’t flow right to me. In some places I had to re-read parts a few times before they made sense in my head and some of the word choices didn’t sit right with me either.
The concept of the book is great. Leona Martin has extremely vivid dreams about a handsome guy who she has never met before until the Valentine’s Ball her best friend Naomi organises at her club. Fate decides to give her a helping hand when her dream guy rescues her from an incident at the club and so a love story ensues.
Nathanial Walker is a cop and is haunted by the fact that he cannot catch his younger brother Isaac’s killer. He has been endlessly searching and investigating the matter but to no avail. When he meets Leona he is completely bowled over by her and this need he has to protect her.
Both Leona and Nathanial have secrets that could push them further apart or bring them closer than ever, but are they both willing to risk it for love?
The revelations which are exposed in the book are brilliant ones, some which I didn’t see coming at all and you can see why the story is great but I just feel that it could have be written a lot better and with more care given to the descriptions of scenes. I got confused in some scenes as to who was doing what and who was who.
Despite all this it won’t stop me reading the next instalment as although the book is wrapped up nicely, it is left on a slight cliffhanger and I still have some questions which I’m hoping will be answered in the sequel.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Leona, while shopping with her girlfriends, meets the man of her dreams...literally. Leona mysteriously meets, Nathaniel, who has haunted several of her dreams. As their relationship develops and they get to know one another's friends, strange and dangerous encounters plague Leona, but thankfully Nathaniel is on hand to rescue her.

Leona's parents' reunion is not a happy event for her and when she visits her mother in the hospital, her father is present as well as one of his friends from the past. The dark and dangerous mystery man sets off bad memories in Leona.

Incredible Dreams is the first book in a series, and it has a lot going on! There are about four story lines to follow, and I'm looking forward to reading the next part of the series to see how these story lines are woven together.

The book is a good teaser with a big cliff hanger that hooks the reader. The author's descriptive writing style helps with the character development as does the detailed character interactions. The stories of Leona's past, Naomi's mysterious behavior, Nathaniel's police work as well as their family and friendships are kept balanced. It's an interesting story of how relationships, both past and present, impact your life.

A good book for a vacation--a light, easy read with some dark twists.

Leona, a woman in her late twenties who has been dreaming about a guy that she doesn't know finally sees him in real life one day, but she doesn't approach him out of bizarreness of the whole situation and that leaves her with an feeling of missed opportunity, so when life gives her a second chance she grabs it with both hands.

Nathaniel, a police officer who's been on a hunt to find his brother's killer for over a year now turns out to be a dreamguy in real life too, and while things are going great between the two of them, Leona's long life friendship with her dear friend Naomi isn't.

Resenting the thought of having to choose between the two of them she and her two friends Alyssa and Alexandra come up with an idea to whisk Naomi away for a little holiday in the hopes that after they'd spend some quality time together things would finally go back to the way it used to be, but it doesn't and when Marcus, Naomi's current boyfriend who followed them out there confesses something to Leona that she really wished he hadn't, she keeps finding it harder and harder to even look her best friend in the eyes without feeling like the worst friend ever.....

Great Drama! Drama! And more drama!

The book had everything I liked: Romance, drama, suspense and hot sex! Good strong characters and supporting characters with sensitive issues but still comical in parts. LOL 'Pleasure Stick'

The Author's attention to detail was amazing and very well written, the shopping trips where right up my street!

What can I say about the end??? I will not spoil it but Part 2, here I come!

I was given an ARC for this booknin exchange for a review. This was a really good book, although a bit slow at first. Incredible Dreams is about Leona, a smart, strong and successful 28 year old who dreams about a guy who sweeps her off her feet.   After dreaming of him, she starts getting glimpses of him in real life. Nate, or Dream Guy, is a 23 year old police officer who is instantly smitten with Leona. They both develop a great relationship, pretty much angst-free, except for external situations that are not directly related to them. The story pretty much revolves around this premise. They both have past issues, but its not overplayes in this book. I liked the fact that the characters all for the most part fun, succesful people looking to settle down. Leona has 4 friends whose various issues affect her life and her relationship with Nate . The book turns fast paced and fun, full of drama, action and sexy scenes and a lot of extras like drugs, abuse and other issues. I noticed the characters tend to black out a lot and that the story starts playing on Leona's dreams , but later the rest has nothing to do with them at all. Just an observation, it really doesn't affect the story. There's a HUGE cliffhanger at the end, so I obviously can't wait to learn what happened, because the ending was completely unexpected. Incredible Dreams was a really fun, sexy read with an nail-biting ending.

I just cannot believe that I've had this book in my possession since July and not read it. The author gifted this to me and until I contacted her she has been sitting quietly whilst I read through the pile of books I have for reviewing by assorted authors. I so appreciate that. But she should have nudged me sooner, I have just read the most amazing read!
I started it around mid afternoon and just had to stay up to finish it.

It was not what I was expecting at all! It was much much much more than that. The different facets to this story! Its a thriller, nt its a love story, no its hot sex, no n no, its a whodunnit. Nope! Its everything all rolled into one.
I'm speechless. The cover doesn't do this justice. I am actually reeling from this book. I love this new author I've found. I have t wait a bit for the next one in the series. It ends with such an unexpected glee that I can't wait. It had me speechless in parts, and let me tell you, not an easy fete!

You have got to read this. At first I was like, OK.....then further on I was...WOW, then things hotter up, then there things and plots happened. I'm WOW WOW WOW......seriously.

I've just given my honest and open thoughts on this book with no pressure to like it, I bloody loved it.

As the story begins, they are all out on a shopping spree, spending lots of money on perfect party dresses and shoes for a Valentine’s Day bash at the local club, which is run by Naomi. While waiting for the other two to finish up their shopping, Leona sits down at an outdoor café and orders drinks for everyone. As she sits there, something amazing thing happens—she sees a totally hot guy walking along the street—the very same one she dreamed about the night before. That night, at the Valentine’s Party, she meets him and his friends, all of whom are police officers. He’s younger than she is, but the two are drawn passionately together. When they touch, electricity happens and some hot, explicit sex follows. Woven through the love story are realistic family problems, bad ex-boyfriend problems, and friendship problems among the friends. There is much clubbing and drinking, as well as a vacation to Jamaica with friends and new lovers. There was an on-again-off-again dark suspense plot which seemed to be lurking off-stage most of the time, and which will continue in the sequel. I’d say there is plenty of story here, despite the uneven plotting and the many attractive but not too deeply cut characters. The “mechanics” here still need some work.

S.E. Felida
This book surprised me. It started off in one direction and then turned and turned and turned and I was hurrying to get to the next page to see what was going to happen!

Leona is such a leery woman and rightly so. But Nathaniel helps her to look at things differently with the passion that they feel for each other. The all encompassing love they have for each other was intense. Emotions so strong they could make you forget the rest of the world.

Enter in a strong group of friends, or at least they seem like friends. Mates for the longest time start to get tested. In the beginning I loved how close the group of girls were. Coming from all walks of life, showing that it doesn’t matter who you are or where you came from, you are worthy of friendship. While the friendship may be in a different place at the end of the book, the core relationship is strong and it was refreshing to see that.

Full of romance, suspense, friendship, and heartbreak, Incredible Dreams was a wonderful beginning to the Incredible Dreams Series.

3.5 stars!

This is one of those times that you should definitely not judge a book by its cover. I read the synopsis and I was interested to know more about this one, it didn't have that cookie cutter feel to what I tend to always been drawn to. I really liked that the characters were multi-cultural . Leona and Nathaniel had some crazy hot chemistry. Nathaniel, the tongue pierced police officer who speaks spanish, yum...yes, please!

This story had a different flow and style then I'm use to but once I got past that which didn't take long, I was sucked into this suspenseful, dark twisted story. I liked that the whole story didn't revolve around the romance of the two characters, the author threw in some elements that kept me on my toes. I wasn't sure what direction the author was taking this story, as there were so many dark twists and just when you get some answers...she leaves us wanting more.

If you're looking for a different read with some suspense and hot steamy sexiness then I say give this one a chance.

- Not your typical love story, which makes it so much more interesting!

It is very rare that a story hooks me in so quickly. Plus there are some hot, hot, hot steamy sex scenes and that is always a plus. S.E Felida definitely took her time and thought out the plot for this book. I like how this book is outside the "norm" for a typical love story, and this story is anything but typical. In parts of the book there was so much going on, it felt too much was crammed into one story. I think the author could have wrote 3 more stories with some of the twists that happen in this story. However even though there was so much going on I never became confused. All the twists and many characters help make Leona and Nathan's love story a great start to a series. There is a cliffhanger at the end of this book and I cannot wait to start reading the second book. I am positive that the second book will be even better.

LOVED IT! A page turner with steamy romance and suspense. The characters are well written with back stories that make you feel like you know them. Some parts, I found myself yelling at Leona or her friend Nai to do something etc..(don't want to give away any part of this) ;) I was so disappointed when I came to the end "to be continued" but realized I had the 2nd book in the series and away I went! Ladies you will love this if your into suspense and steamy hot romance..and I do mean HOT! ;) I am almost done with the 2nd book so off to find the 3rd before I finish it LOL and just to let you know..2nd book has even more sit on the edge of your seat suspense!...had to remind my self to breath at times. Oh and a twist about Leona....but you'll have to read to find out. Highly!!!! recommend this series.

Leona is having an incredible dream about a very handsome man. She doesn't know him so she can't figure out why she is dreaming of him. At a party she sees this handsome man and is stunned. She can't figure things out.. Nathanial is a police officer. He sees Leona and is drawn to her. Nathanial hasn't had time for anyone or anything. He has been looking for a killer. One who took is brother's, Issac's, life. So far he hasn't had much luck. He started to talk to Leona when he gets a call about a possible clue. He has to leave. He shows up at Leona's the next day for a date. This is the beginning of Leona and Nathanial's romance. Leona is being stocked by some other man and Nathanial knows he is dangerous. This book is a cliffhanger into the next on Irrational Behavior. This book does contain sex and profanity so it is not for all.

Going into this series was a bit of a task for me, I had a hard time connecting with the characters even with the great detail into their lives that was given... However, after a couple of chapters I found myself really enjoying the stories and the possibilities that this author was able to bring out---- Imagine your most wonderful dream coming strait from "Mr. Sandman" coming strait to life and into your arms..... and then your whole life that seemed completely normal, becoming your worst nightmare. This story is captivating once you are able to truly connect and will leave you asking questions like "could that really happen?"

I would give these two books a solid 4.5 stars!

It is perfect for a sit down and have your mind blown kind of day :)

You ever have a dream about a hot guy and then see him the next day??? Neither have I unfortunately, but Leona has!! Nathanial was that man in her dreams. Turns out he's a cop and has a couple of friends. Hot right? Her dream seems to start turning into a nightmare when Nathanial goes after a perp that he's been chasing. Leona also finds out about his family obligations that give her pause. It was a great story overall. I wouldn't of missed a little less inner conversation with the main character. I would of loved to have read more about Nathanial's inner struggle. He's such an interesting character. Dream come true or gone wrong? You better read Incredible Dreams and find out!!! Excited to see where the next book takes us.

Definitely a girly book! The amount of detail given to things like clothes and shopping immediately says that the girl POV is focal. This helps to lighten the darker aspects of the story, such as the story of Leona's parents. The world is created so vividly by Felida that all of the characters are well known to the reader and serve a specific purpose. This is a gentle read; in terms of writing, not content. The content may be a little hard-going at times if you are sensitive, however the skill of Felida's writing means that you don't have to wade through it. This story is romantic as much as anything else, and the wonderful mix of genres make for a great read. Would definitely recommend!!!

Hot romance with some dark twists and turns!
To dream about a perfect man AND meet him..wow! Leona and Nathaniel held me captive. Talk about a hot romance! Did I catch a glimpse of his tongue ring? Yes I did!! This author is so detailed with the smaller things; it gives life to the big picture. I was “walking” through the story “seeing” everything that was going on. Romance, drama, hot erotic scenes- Love it! Now there is some darkness but I think that it just balances out the story in a great way. The ending of this book will leave you NEEDING to know what happens next. S.E. Felida did a great job with this one!!

Wowza! Where do I even begin?! 4.5 stars of hotness and suspense! There are so many secrets and so much suspense that I still don’t even know what’s going on. I love Leona’s personality and how the author explains her background showing why she is the way she is. The book is written mostly from Leona’s POV, but sometimes switches to other characters POVs which I like and helps you understand what’s going on at that specific point in time. This is an awesome romantic suspense novel, but holy cliffhanger batman! I can’t wait for the next book!! :) ~Kendra
