These were fun to read! Avery and I would only read them in October, so it took us 2 Octobers to finish. I was semi familiar with lots of the stories. So fun to think about what these stories say about the culture they are told in.
I think that this book was a pretty good book. But if you do not like reading about ghost you probably wont like to read this book probably. But if you Kinda like reading about ghost.Or do not really care about reading about ghost you would probably not mind the book but you wouldn't read it again. One of the stories in the book is about this ghost that always walks up the stars to her apartment at the same time every day. One night she walked into this girls room and went into her closet and stayed there so. The girl thought that there must of been like a secret staircase in here closet. but there was no secret staircase that she could find. I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars because I thought it was a good read but not a amazing read. It is a good read if you like reading about a lot of stories in a book. So in collusion I thought that the book was a good book book but not a amazing book.
This book wasn't bad as far as ghost stories (and other supernatural being stories) go. It wasn't really my favorite and was kinda cliche and cheesy at points but it was still enjoyable. I always enjoy a good ghost tale.
Lots of good stories in this book. The mirror story (Bloody Mary) scared me so much I had to sage my mirrors in my apartment. So yeah, this book is pretty scary!
I’m disappointed, I thought this book would be way better. The introduction was great, and though I know it is campfire ghost stories, I was expecting something scary or unexpected. The first story was great, the rest were predictable and verging on corny. I’m only giving it two star cause the first story was good. Such a shame. Maybe if you’re seven years old you’ll like it. The writing is elementary too.
I checked this out from my local library and have put off on reviewing it because I just wasn't drawn in by any of the short stories within. I will refrain from leaving an actual review because of that fact.
