This third installment of true ghost stories recounts not only experiences from Willow Cross, but also stories from close personal friends. Ghostly knocks on doors, an apparition who seems to enjoy peeping into windows in the dead of night, and even a specter who insists on taking up residence in a child’s closet. As with the other two volumes, all the stories are believed to be 100% true.
Willow Cross resides in Arkansas with her husband, two children still young enough to live at home, an enormous cat named Bitsy, and a scaredy-cat dog named Tank. Her home has been known to host the occasional ghost, and a few of her friends profess to be witches. Although she dearly loves Vampires and Werewolves, they are never invited for dinner.
I purchased an e-copy of this book from Smashwords in return for an honest review. This author has amazed me once again with her style of writing. Haunted III is spine tingling exciting and so very hard to put down. The true phenomenal paranormal experiences in this book will shock you and make you believe in such a thing as ghosts. I did some shivering and shaking of my own as these stories were told and I had enjoyed every minute of this story as I have the previous two books. I can't say I have a favorite on because I loved all three stories and even after I was through reading and now writing this review, I am still in awe at the incredible stories of true Paranormal Activity!! Thank you, Willow Cross, for these unforgettable stories of ghosts and their paranormal activities!! This story and author has earned 10 paranormal stars from me!!
If you loved the the first two books in the series by Willow Cross than you will love this book. The third book in the series will have you looking over for anything that goes bump in the night. I am looking forward to book 4 in the series to keep me looking over my shoulder. If you love a good haunting then check out this series.
Really great stories. Well written and very enjoyable to read. Wish they went on longer, but on the other hand, I’m glad they are not drawn out. Keeps it interesting. Looking forward to the final installment in this series.
This book tells 3 Stories of thinks that go bump in the night . One is about a house Willow lived in but not for long, I am sure the ghost love willow's family moving in to the house. Second book is called The Nanny Ghost and it from one of Willows friends i loved this one. The last one tells the story of Penny Jars which will have you laughing about how the great grandmother and a penny jar and how she would not listen to her daughter and granddaughter about giving a jar full of pennies to the great granddaughter. The books are a great read but do not read them at night or every noise you will think it a ghost
Expect to be searching the shadows for visitors while reading this...just sayin'! As always Willow's spooky stories + Me alone in a dark room = Me constantly looking over my shoulder expecting something to cause a squeal to erupt! Mission Accomplished, Willow! HaHaHa!!! These are great spooky stories. I really like that my kids can enjoy them as well, because they love a good scare just like me. ;*) Awesome idea to include some from the fans as well! The Nanny Ghost totally freaked me out! Wowza!! I can not even imagine being able to stay calm in that situation!! I'm still thinking about Susan's Penny Jars! What a lovely tale that while plenty creepy brought warm feelings & treasured memories too.
I was given and e-copy in exchange for my honest review.
This is the third volume in the Haunted Series. The stories are said to be 100% true ghost stories that are based on paranormal events that happened to the author and others that wanted to share their experiences . I loved the book. Ot didn't spook me like the first volume, but then again, when you live in some of the same type situations, it gets harder and harder to spook. I found these stories to have more of a "sentimental haunting" than a scare your pants off type of events. Worth the read. Great true ghost stories.
I always have to read these books in broad daylight, and preferably not at home! This one was no exception and I soon had chills whilst reading (at one point I even had to back away from my desk at work because it felt like something was underneath it!). All I can say is I'm so glad it isn't me that has these experiences, though the pennies in the jar is so sweet. It's a quick read, but that didn't take anything away from the enjoyment.
I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This book was ok. Nowhere near as good as the first one. I was scared to go to sleep after reading the first one, but this one was just an ok read. Nothing special.
I can really relate to some of her stories. it's almost like I am there with her in some. I also can feel differences in places. Love to here her stories.
Another great read by Willow Cross! This one also has some of her friend's stories that she is sharing. Her writing didn't disappoint. I hope she keeps telling her stories to her readers.
