This is an excellent little book about a digger asked to do a job without being told why. I think kids quite often feel like the little digger, that they are often asked to do things and to change what they are doing without often knowing the reason why. A great fun book.
Oh yes. I used to read this one to my children, both boys, from the age of about 2. I can't say it was my personal favourite, but they both loved it. Reading to your kids is really important, and finding the right stuff is sometimes difficult - just go with what they seem to like.
