"Who are we to argue the choices of the Power?"

"What am I? I am something that has never been seen before; I am the culmination of centuries. I am the last pureblood of my line. I am someone, I am something that will live for centuries and die a little everyday."

With those words Kerrisha Drew-Otlander fully steps into her destiny as the Fifth Knowledge Guardian of the People of Otland Iis. But what are the Guardians?

The Guardians are born in times of change for the People of Otland Iis and the Fifth Guardian has now been born. She is now coming into her Knowledge. It is her destiny to reunite the Clans but even her own clan does not believe she is a Guardian. Orphaned at twelve-years old, Kerrisha Drew-Otlander, is Queen of the Drew and Otlander Clans as well as the Fifth Guardian of Knowledge.

Thousands of years ago, six clans lived in the seven provinces of Otland Iis (Atlantis to the regular humans) until their island home was destroyed by a cataclysmic volcanic eruption. The descendents of the survivors of Otland Iis now live among us in modern times with all the Power and Abilities of their ancestors. Clan wars over the centuries have divided the People into two factions: The Triad Clans and The Lost Clans. In a modern world they work against each other both in battle and in staying hidden from the humans in the cities surrounding them. Kerrisha must convince her own People she is who she claims as well as bridge the gaps left by centuries of war with the leaders of the other clans.

This first book in the series follows Kerrisha on her first true undercover mission to Devon Clan and through a series of struggles, battles, and even places the young Queen on trial for treason. She finds love and romance with her Power-Chosen mate and begins to learn she is not as alone as she imagines.

Included after the story is a short dictionary of Otlantesha, the ancient language of Otland Iis with an English-based pronunciation key.

C. M. Johnson is a former teacher in Tampa, Fl. where she lives with her husband. She is now pursuing her Master's of Accounting degree.

Many of my characters have "Power-Chosen mates" that is they are destined for each other. Why? Because I believe in love at first (or nearly) sight.

My husband and I met, became engaged two weeks later, married after knowing each other for 98 days, and are still together 25+ years later.

My main character, Kerrisha, is preparing for her wedding to her Power-Chosen mate when she says, "I can think of nothing better than to be together for centuries in life and forever in the Power." How many of us wouldn't want to spend eternity with our soulmate?

This is not suitable for persons under 18. Just gonna throw that out there right away. There is a crapton of violence in it.
This book was bigger than I normally read but I thought, what the hay? It seemed to be a historical/mythical story with powers. What if Atlantis was real? The concept is a great premise. I found the entire story from start to finish incredibly original. This author did some great worldbuilding and added a detailed background for this story. The imagination it took to come up with the very intricate family lines, the powers each family had, right down to each houses colors were thought out and highly descriptive. The action scenes were my favorite by far. Of which there were a lot of.

This book was jam packed with action. Usually there is an ebb and flow to most books I read. Not so with this one. It was all flow, no ebb. I could barely keep up with some of the scenes that transpired. That was an issue for me. I felt I didn't have the time to digest everything that happened before something else came along. That could be me.

This MC is a badass! She is confident, responsible and takes her future very seriously. She trains hard to be the best she can be. She comes off as a bit arrogant to me honestly, which may be why I wasn't that big of a fan of her in this book.

There is something to be said for showing a little vulnerability. She didn't seem to have any. I mean, I know she was vulnerable physically when she was captured, but emotionally I don't think she really allowed herself to be. She cried in a few scenes but they were very abrupt with no hint of what she was feeling beforehand. I think that is what got me in the end. Her emotional development didn't seem to happen at all. I felt a disconnect to the character as a whole. With the events that happened to her I thought for sure she would need some kind of therapy or some kind of transition to move past it, but it was like she just jumped up and shook it off, and went on about her day. Maybe it was the fact that she had the pre-cognitive abilities so she was better prepared than I would have thought. But it really put a kink in the readability of this book for me.

Other than that this book was a good read. The action was spot on. The plot was direct and there didn't seem to be any subplots that I could see. It seems its a action packed adventure about a very powerful young lady and the trails and tribulations she goes through to protect the last of her people.

Tales of the Fifth Guardian; Book One: The Beginning by C.M. Johnson

I got this book as a gift from Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock for an honest review. Honestly I don’t know how to do this review! I’m still confused on what the heck just happened. I give this book 4 fangs just for the pure fact that even though I’m beyond confused and have no clue what was going on for 70% of the book; I want to read the next one! In this book there is a girl named Kerrisha there’s no way to explain it except she’s more. What do I mean more? You never know because it’s always something different. She knows things and when she tells people no one listens until it’s too late and even then their skeptical. Kerrisha goes through so much in this book its overwhelming its crazy I loved it and I hated it I need to know what happens next!

The People of Otland Iis (Atlantis) are living among us in modern times, they possess unique abilities that would seem like magic to a full human, but these powers are commonly found within their clans. The Guardians of Knowledge is even more special than the general population, they are born whenever there will be a great change for the people of Otland Iis. The Guardian has the unfortunate fate of having to guide the people through these monumental changes, never able to change the events that they have foreseen. In fact, the Guardian must make sure that things happen just as they have seen them, even to the point of watching loved ones die. The last Guardian lived over 500 years ago. The knowledge of their existence all but passing into myth and legend. The Guardians of the past never had easy lives, and now the people of Otland Iis are living in the time of the Fifth Guardian. This Guardian is the culmination of pure blood lines, she will have great power and know great sorrow. Her name, is Kerrisha. At 12 years old, she predicted the death of her parents. No one believed her. Even after, when events happened just as she predicted, her powers were doubted and down played. At 12 years old, she became the Queen of her clan. She also knew that there was more to come for her, her powers manifested early and continued to grow, far more than an average citizen of the clans. Time and time again, she made predictions, tried to research the things she was seeing, and the powers the was gaining only to be blocked by her co-regent and uncle Oscar. Sometimes he literally put blocks in her mind so that she would not remember or care about certain information which pertained to her and her growing power. At 16 Kerrisha was in her third year of medical school when she meets a boy, Kerreth. From the start, she knew that their relationship was destined to be one that would be written down in the lore for future generations to learn about. This book is the story of the beginning of their years together.
This tale is a blend of modern day and magical fantasy that will leave you excited to read the next chapter. I read it in about two days, roughly 12 hours of reading. I found it very hard to put down once I had started reading it. The writing is superb and the storyline is well thought out. The tale flows effortlessly, allowing you to immerse yourself in the story. I really have nothing bad to say about this book, some may find it long, but you honestly don’t notice it once you get involved in it. The author has made it very easy to become emotionally involved with the characters and the trials and tribulations that they are put through. I definitely found myself rooting for the good guys and cursing the very existence of the bad guys. There are some very dark themes in this book, it is not always a sweet love story. The characters are put through some very emotional and horrifying situations, and both the good and the bad mold them and prepare them for the next event. I would forewarn any reader that there are scenes of rape and torture in this book, but they are not gratuitous or glorified in any way. These scenes make sense in the overall scheme of the tale and are very obviously not put there to give the book ‘shock value’.
In thinking of books that this tale might be compared to, I am reminded of the Dragonlance Chronicles written by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman, if they took place in a modern setting. This is not a light read, this is an epic tale, and it is well worth the time you spend reading it. So, if you enjoy magic, myth, with a modern day twist, then this book is for you, you will not regret picking it

In Book One of the Tales of the Fifth Guardian, C.M. Johnson introduces us to an amazingly detailed and original story about the People of Otland Iis and Kerrisha's quest to learn more about The Guardians and her Power. I love that this central character is unapologetically the most powerful leader who has ever been born to The People, and that her Power is discovered by her and by us (the reader) at the same time - it makes us feel like we're on the journey with her. The powerful bond between she and her destined mate boils off the page and just drives you to want to read book 2 in the series. And that is where I'm headed next!

This book is not an easy read. It was one of those books with several layers of which you have to peel one by one as you read along the series. I can say that this book is definitely unique. As it is so... I decided to shy away from the normal way to which I do my review...

Plot: 5 stars

This books offers you something new. You can see and feel the efforts of the author to give her readers something different and something unique. It's a bit heavy and probably not to be recommended for those who only love to read light and easy going stories. However, as it is a book with several layers, there are times that it tends to drag on and get a bit boring. I know it's necessary as it's needed to build up the tension and the conflict. Thus, it also needs patience. When you get over that part though, it gets exciting and thrilling for the reader.

Characterization: I'd give it 3.5 stars.

Kerrisha the main character of the series is a little hard to describe for me. True she's got all these amazing powers and she's suppose to be all that awesome but I don't know. I just don't feel that way about her. It's probably due to the fact that she hardly has any flaw which made it hard to relate to her as a reader.

Kerreth on the other hand for me needs a little bit more effort to prove himself as a hero.

Edwere on the other hand, well, I''' say I'd rather it's him who's the hero. He's more manly, hotter and even more amazing that Kerreth in this book I almost felt sorry that it wasn't him destined to be with Kerrisha.

The uncle, is someone a little curious. I felt that there's something more about him and somehow I'm not yet convince he's in their side. Aside from these characters, the brothers and sisters of both the hero and heroine had me a bit confused. Is it really necessary for both siblings to be destined with the other siblings? It sounded a little planted and orchestrated. Plus their birthdays which seems to coincide all in one day gave another confusion. Was that due to the power? Why? Was it also written in destiny through the ages or pure coincidence? It might not be that important to the story as a whole but somehow it bothered me.

Romance. 3.5 stars

Kerrisha having this Knowledge about who Kerreth is going to be in her life kind of marred the romance aspect for me. I felt like they are together not really because they feel that way for each other but because they know they are destined to be. Kind of like, when you tell yourself something over and over, you start to believe its true because that's what you keep telling yourself. Along the way it became your reality. Kerreth and Kerrisha's love story felt that way for me. Thus, it didn't feel romantic at all.

Setting: 5 stars
As this story is written differently and uniquely, the setting is very well as original as the plot goes. The author also has a very good way of describing it that I can vividly see it in my mind as if I am there. You know that magical feeling when you watch Harry Potter, Disney's Atlantis, when you are taken to a totally different world? The way the author wrote the settings in this novel feels almost the same.

Twist: 3

Since Kerrisha has this Power to see the future, and she also has a habit of announcing that future, I'd say I was a little less thrilled on what's to happen next. Yes, I still don't know how things will definitely end but the excitement is not as much as when I first started reading the book. Kerrisha's visions though usually not complete tends to be a little straight forward my ind has already jump to that event even before it happened which made me just want to flip through the pages once it indeed happened. As it is part of her power which definitely meant it's not only in this book that it will happened, I know that it's something I can't do anything about but to learn to accept and tolerate.

All in all, it was enjoyable going through the journey with Kerrisha and I'm looking forward as to how she will handle the responsibility and the thing that she needs to accomplish as the Fifth Guardian of the people. If you want to read something different and something unique which includes romance, drama, suspense and mystery, this book is a definite must read for you.

I received a copy of this book for honest review from the author; no other compensation was received on my part.

The Guardians are a myth in today's world. Originally the protectors of knowledge of all things…they are not human, they are not gods; they are simply more. There has not been on in existence in centuries and have been forgotten even by their own people…until now. It is said a guardian would emerge in times of change when the people needed the most protection…now is one of those times. "The People" are not human; they were the beings who came to be known as the mythical Atlanteans in ancient times. They were not aliens as some believe but a collection of highly evolved familial clans who had many special abilities and knowledge beyond human understanding. With the destruction of what humans refer to as Atlantis…which was their home of Otland Iis…the clans dispersed into different regions of the world and have been living among us undetected. Those of the purest of blood still retain the most power and ability, though much knowledge has been lost. There is upheaval in the clans once again, after so many centuries a new guardian is coming into power and her name is Kerrisha…she is more than has ever been recorded in the history of the people, she is not just a girl with more power than anyone has ever had at her age…she has the most power that has ever been seen and she suffers greatly in more ways than one can imagine. As a child nobody believes her visions, even after the foreseen deaths of her parents that she predicted so she hides many of her abilities over the years until circumstances force otherwise.

OMG…I loved this book. CM Johnson has done an amazing job of introducing the reader to a marvelously unique story. Filled with magic, secrets, conspiracy, turmoil, physical abuse, rape, and an absolute soul encompassing love…I could not put it down!!! Kerrisha is an amazing character…so very young yet so mature. She has been through so much in her short life and takes on every challenge as a true leader with a spine of steel. She is honest, intelligent, compassionate, stubborn, and strong…a true kick ass heroine who impressed me more with every page I turned. There was just soooo much that happened in this story I was on a complete emotional roller coaster. It was a lot to take in with the history of the people, the myth of the guardians, the ascension of power and how it all works…but you have to know it to understand the implications of what and who Kerrisha is to be. The entire cast of this book is wonderful, everyone plays a part…good or bad…there are some you will love, some you will hate, and others who have you on the edge of your seat wondering.

That being said, this book is not intended for those under 18 or those with a weak constitution. There is brutality in many forms…emotional and physical…as well as rape. However, there is also love between siblings and soul mates, as well as undying loyalty and support between friends. This story is a fantastical experience that will have you laughing, crying, and absolutely furious at times as you truly feel as though you are part of the story. If you love a good detailed fantasy and can handle dark twists and turns this book should be right up your ally so get to one-clicking…you will not be disappointed. Now I am off to get started on Tales of the Fifth Guardian; Book 2: Bonded.

4.5 stars *Ecopy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review (this in no way influenced my review)
First of all it took me like a year to actually finish reading the book and I ended up reading a paperback copy that I won at a giveaway. I had the hardest time reading this book and it had nothing to do with the story, that part I actually loved but the format on the ebook was just not working for me. This is not why I took away half a star, the reason is one I cannot say without revealing a major spoiler but I have told the author I had issues with that in the story. It's just one of those things that I have a hard time reading about.
On to the review of the actual story. The characters are great, you will love all of them (not the bad guys tho) but the characters are well written and even the villains are well written. I enjoyed discovering this awesome world the author has created, it's very different from anything I have read and I will say it it quite unique. I also enjoyed reading about all the super "powers" (or abilities) that the characters have. I liked that they all have different ones and that Kerrisha (the main character) has everything you can imagine and maybe even more, I'm sure more will come in the next installments.
There is a LOT of information on this book and you might feel lost a few times trying to keep up with the story and all the characters, or at least that is what happened to me a few times. I was glad I had the paperback where I could look in the back at the Otlantesha Dictionary, that helped me a lot but I could not do that with the ebook and there are many words that the author used when she created the language that you will need the translation or meaning. That is also something super cool about the story, the author created her own language and I loved it.
There is a lot of action, mystery and suspense in the story. There is also romance and some steamy sex scenes.
The story continues so at the end you will find out that you need to read book 2 if you want to know what happens next. Not quite a cliffy but pretty close. I do know that there are about 9 books to the series so far so I need to do some serious catching up.
I will recommend you read this book if you are looking for something different, entertaining and romantic. You won't be bored with this story for one second. It is awesome!

I have read countless paranormal and fantasy/mythology books, and never have I encountered something like this.
The story is slow paced at first and a little bit confusing, but as you go on you will find yourself hooked because of its unique story.
Tales of the Fifth Guardian (series) brings mythology and the paranormal together by answering the question: What if the descendants of the survivors of Atlantis lived among us in modern times, with all the power and abilities their ancestors were rumored to have?
The heroine Kerrisha is an amazing character…so very young yet so mature. She has been through so much in her short life and takes on every challenge as a true leader with a spine of steel. She’s a true kick ass heroine. The powerful bond between her and her destined mate explodes off the pages. You feel like you’re on the journey with these characters, and it drives you to want to read the next book in the series.
Filled with magic, secrets, conspiracy, turmoil, physical abuse and an absolute soul encompassing love - this book is not intended for those under 18 or those with a weak constitution. There is brutality in many forms…emotional and physical…as well as rape. However, there is also love between siblings and soul mates, as well as undying loyalty and support between friends. If you love a good detailed fantasy romance and can handle dark twists and turns this book should be right up your alley.
I’m looking forward to reading the remaining books in this series!

This book reminds me of a cross between Gena Showalter and Stargate Atlantis. The best part and difference is that we are right there with the characters as they are living and learning who they are. The book is told that a group of humans like the Atlantis people, were just like everyone else only they developed abilities or superpowers.

Keri is an extremely mature 18 year old that is going to be queen and the Fifth Guardian of her people. The Guardians of the Otland clans guide the people and give them information “Knowledge” in times of great change or need. The Guardians do not happen every generation, so it is unexpected when Keri says she will be the Fifth Guardian. We get to experience her new powers with her. And there were times when I would have been running around squealing like a girl and saying I did what? How COOL!, but Keri was so mature about her powers and the new Knowledge that she kept gaining.

We follow Keri as she meets with Kerreth, her mate for life. We get to experience a mission with Keri. She has been going on missions for years during the Tales of the Fifth Guardian, we get to meet her family and Kerreth’s family. I did get a little confused at times with who was who when dealing with the families as there were sets of twins and had similar names. But heck, I can’t even follow at my own family reunions.

The first part of the book goes over the different titles and descriptions of people and the relationship of each group. It was a like a quick course in history of the Otlandish clans. Everything was explained and put in place for the reader to better understand the story and the following stories. I generally don’t do well with history so it was slow going for me through the first parts of the book. I’m glad I stuck with it and got the details as more of Keri’s life and missions unfolded. I was also grateful for the glossary at the back of the book.

This book will translate very well into an audiobook. With the way it is written and the visualization, the right narrator would make this awesome. One item that I found unique was that when someone was speaking especially with more than two people, there was not a lot of “said X, she said, he said” It was a relief to me as I can find that really distracting when there is a lot of it. And finally, I just want to say that I am really envious over the bathtub Keri and Kerreth have and I want one like it!

Tales of the Fifth Guardian – Book One – The Beginning

***.5

I was given this book for an honest review.

First I would like to say that this book is an amazing first instalment of the series.
I found myself trying very hard to get into this book in the beginning. It was confusing and was not that interesting in the beginning,(I almost gave up reading it) but as I got further into the book I found myself intrigued and wanting to know what would happen next. Despite all of the errors. This is definitely a different type of fantasy book that you don’t see among the genre. She takes you to a whole new world called Otland Iis (Atlantis) with unheard of powers and the most unruly villains. I found myself rooting for people that I never thought I would and cursing them in different parts of the book. I look forward to the next book and cannot wait to see where Mrs. Johnson takes us with the series.

The CONS –

I thought about what I would put in my review for a few days. There are tons of errors throughout the book, the dialogue is confusing in some instances to the point it is highly frustrating. You don’t know who is speaking to whom. There seems to be a lack of emotion where there should be tons and the steamy scenes are just not that steamy and become quite repetitive. The story is choppy in areas, and sometimes just doesn’t flow well. This book needs to be looked seriously over by not only an editor, but a proofreader as well. If she does this, and cleans up the book a bit it would be a superb 5 star book.

This is my first book and the first of the series. My characters have been with me in one form or another since I was a child playing on the playground but they're not for children anymore. The idea evolved from pretending to be superheroes and deciding what powers I'd like to have to answering the question of how could we see that in the modern world.

The answer was simple once I began to study mythology - Atlantis. There are legends of Atlantis that tell us the citizens had unique mental abilities and that is when my characters truly began to take on a life of their own. What mental abilities would you like to have? Telepathy? Telekinesis? Pyrokinesis? Teleportation? The possibilities could be endless if the descendants of the survivors continued to evolve into modern times.

The legends also say that Atlantis was a scholarly society. What if they cherished Knowledge above all else and that carried through as well?

But then the stories also tell us that they became a divided/warring society. What if that carried through as well?

All that is the basis of my series.

C.M. Johnson has created a great start to a complex world and characters in her story. The beginning is a tad slow but once you get past that you really get into the world and learn about some great characters. Lots of physically and emotionally/mentally challenges to make them who they are. In this book we learn about Kerrisha and Kerreth the most <3

It's quite an interesting world for sure. I would for sure pick up the next installment to see what's in store for this world.

*C.M.Johnson has totally out done herself with this series! This is a series that when you finish each book, you have to get the next one instantly because you cannot wait to see how the story is going to unfold, or whats is going to happen next!! I have read all of the books that are out so far (which is 8 right now) i have the E books as well as all of the paperbacks! This is by far my favorite series I have ever read, and I have read a lot!

*C.M. Johnson has a very unique writing style that captures everything! The way she is so descriptive has you feeling like you are seeing everything playing out in your head and you are watching a movie! The way she describes the characters and the places and things are amazing. She is very detailed in her writing and I wished all books were like this!!

* Karrisha lost her parents when she was 12, and she has always followed the Power and she always let it guide her. She has never doubted the power and she knew who she was at a very young age but she didn't know exactly what it meant or that when she had her visions that she should keep them to her self, she was to young to understand what being the Guardian entailed. As she got older, she came into more knowledge about it and understood more about it and what she needed to do. She couldn't try to change the visions even if it prevented someone she knew from joining the Power or if it meant that something really bad was going to happen. If she tried to prevent it from happening then the Timeline would change and she would have to suffer any of the consequences or others would. Karrisha starts learning about her powers as we do so we get to find out about everything as she does. She is the strongest and most powerful leader that the People has ever had and she is the strongest Guardian of them all, and she is the Fifth Guardian of the People of Otland Iis. The last Guardian the People has was over 400 years ago.The People and even her family, except a few, didn't believe her when she told them she was the next Guardian even though she predicted her parents deaths and even Richards wife's death. Richard is the True king of the Devon clan and is, I guess you could say, obsessed with her because he doesn't know what she is he just knows she is going to be something big, something great, and have great powers or abilities. He just doesn't know what or which powers and abilities, just that she is going to be a very important person of the People.

*We get to follow Keri (Karrisha) as she meets Kerrith, her power chosen mate for life. And we get to follow her journey as she starts her journey as the Fifth Guardian of the People! The first book goes over the history of the clans and of the family so you know who is related to whom and how everyone is connected. it can sometimes be a tad confusing because of the similar names and all the twins but once you get to reading its not as confusing when you know who is who and so on.

*This is an AMAZING read and an AMAZING series! you don't want to pass this up! I have said it before and I will say it again, C.M. Johnson is an amazing writer and I am so glad that her unique covers caught my eye and I wanted to know more about this series! I have a lot of respect for her as a writer and I hope she continues this series past the number of books she plans to write in this series!

*I hope you enjoy this series as much as I did and if you want the next book it is Tales Of The Fifth Guardian Book 2 : Bonded!! I will be leaving my reviews for all 8 of the books that are out so far so check them out if you want! :) You wont regret getting this series!

Okay, first off, I few things you need to understand about this book. Number one, it's not a book; it's a series. An epic series, with all the complexity and necessary explanations of GRRM's A Song of Ice and Fire series or Frank Herbert's Dune series (both of which it reminded me of at times). And this is the first book with all of the explanations needed to set up the rest of the story. It is absolutely not a quick, breeze-through read, there is a lot of background information that has to be given, which causes the story to drag a bit at times but is necessary for the reader to understand what is going on. Number two, this is a story that is intended for adults. It has violence, explicit sex, and adult situations that would not be suitable for younger readers. If you are easily offended or unable to tolerate darker stories, this is not the right book for you.
Now, all that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! It's a great start to what promises to be a fascinating series. The world-building is great, the plot is interesting, and the characters are well-developed. Most of the time I was on the edge of my seat to find out what would happen next and I really think this book sets up the rest of the story very well. As long as you approach this book from the standpoint of the beginning of a saga, I don't see how you could be disappointed. :-)

Tales of the Fifth Guardian; Book One: The Beginning
C.M. Johnson

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.

Kerrisha loses her parents at a young age so she and her brother are raised by their Uncle. She is trained for missions for her clan and started missions at around the age of 12. Kerrisha is destined to be the Fifth Guardian. There has not been a guardian in 500 years. Kerrisha and Kerreth meet and she knows immediately they are meant to be together.

This was difficult read due to the sheer volume of information. The history of the clans, the explanation of different abilities, the information gathered on missions, the heritage of different characters and the ever changing situation of Keri. The plot is good and this book sets up for future books in the series to more fully develop the story without the need for so much background information.

I enjoyed the premise of the plot, the world the author is creating and all the characters. It definitely has potential for a great series.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
WOW! This is the 1st in the Guardian series and oh my word, what a start! We get to meet everyone in this book and get some background on the situation. I know some people don't like background information in books, but trust me you have to have it in this one. This is not a book you can just casually read...you have to pay attention. Without the background information, I would've been lost. Johnson has created a whole new world, along with its own language (there's a dictionary at the back). I didn't use the dictionary because the characters do go on to explain whatever was said and I just went with that. The writing in this book was amazing! I seriously couldn't put it down. I chose to lose sleep rather than stop reading this piece of art. It was amazing. I know I'm saying "amazing" a lot, but I can't convey just how great this book is without using it. I know that I'm going to start book 2 right away. If you like any type of mental abilities or fantasy, or even romance then you will love this book! 5 STARS!
