The Romeo and Juliet of the streets are back in Ride Wit' Me part 2. Mercedes and Dalvin are fighting to keep their love intact and make it down the aisle. Will the two lovebirds be able to overcome their obstacles and finally become husband and wife? Find out in this next installment.
I gave this book a 4 star rating because I preferred Mercedes with RAVE over Dalvin Jr. RAVE seemed to appreciate, understand, & love Mercedes better than Dalvin Jr. had. Not only that, but it appeared that Ronald Clinton, Mercedes dad liked RAVE Better than he did Dalvin Jr. I was glad that Ronald got all of the five offspring of SHEPHERD's "FIVE SONS"" THE BROTHERHOOD" to work together to kill SHEPHERD in the end. But, wished that the author would have allowed the narrators of the story to announce themselves/the author would have revealed who was speaking on the page so the readers could be aware of which character was speaking as we read the books. I'm more intrigued by the story of "THE BROTHERHOOD": "EARTH". "FIRE"."AIR". "WATER". "SPIRIT". I wished that the authors would have deeply explored the narrative on the FIVE SONS/THE BROTHERHOOD further possibly in a Book 3, & enlightened readers if Dalvin Jr, ever caught up with RAVE to avenge his father Dalvin Sr.'s death. All in all, I was pleased that the series had the backdrop of one of my favorite cities: CHICAGO!
You have to stay focused on what your reading...if you take a break and continue reading later you will have to go back a little...otherwise a good series...
It was an Ok book, part 1 was better in my opinion. Good luck to dalvin and Mercedes on their new marriage lol I would love to pick up and go to Barbados haha
