Acceptance and Gratitude: Spiritual Practices for Everyday Life

Rate this book
This addition to the Everyday Matters Bible Studies for Women line is a series of study guides that focus on various spiritual practices. The series can be used as a stand-alone Bible study guide for groups or individual use, or as a companion alongside the Everyday Matters Bible for Women .

In this two-part study guide, learn about acceptance and gratitude from biblical characters who managed to find both in the midst of suffering. Learn from Leah how to fight discontent and choose to see God’s goodness and faithfulness. Learn from Job’s grief and confusion how to humbly accept difficult circumstances and move on from them. Learn from Mary how to trust and praise God when the future is not clear. And learn from Jesus―the most incredible example of acceptance in history―how to relinquish our own will and to accept the Father’s.

Readers will work through eight chapters that include articles for reflection, Scripture verses, and discussion questions for deeper thought. Each book also includes a Leader’s Guide.

These books are an excellent resource for small groups, Bible studies, and Sunday school classes. Used individually or with a group these booklets will help women delve further into the Scriptures and meditate on various spiritual practices to help them live fully, every day.

The e-book version is available as two separate products, Gratitude and Acceptance.

Not challenging enough for me, or most of our study group. We want more meat in our message!
