Hello, I am Deila Longford and I live in the countryside of Edinburgh.
My main passion in life is writing.
I live, eat, sleep and breath for books. After many years of devouring novels, i decided to write one of my own. I first thought of the idea for Three Thousand Miles To You in a dream. One summer night whilst in spain I dreamt of a beautiful millionaire. The next morning I instantly wrote down what I could remember of the dream and vaugly what the guy looked like and thats when Adrian Black was born.
I spent the last two years writing my story and it has been a blast. I abosultely adore wrting and i cannot wait to start on book #3...

Written like a teenager's diary: sloppy, gushy and all over the place. The frequent spelling errors make for a very painful read. Surly - really? Word processing programs do come with spell checks.
Why on earth does that girl have to blush on every single page? NO ONE has that much blood.

So many errors I couldn't even finish it. Surly instead of surely, could of instead of could have, and prefect repeatedly used for perfect. Also, the characters would be overly formal in their speech one minute (especially for young adults in California in the music biz) then using slang the next. There could be a good story here but I just can't get past all the grammatical issues to find it.

Good story line

The book had a really good storyline . However, please consider having it edited . There were so many grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors it was really hard to read . Way too many run-on sentences and repetitive sentences . With really good editing this would be a fabulous book!
The story is your classic or not so classic bad girl makes it good and meets the man of her dreams etc. but there is a whole lot in between .

This is a difficult review to write since I have such mixed feelings about this book, I read it without putting it down and it's now 1:50am so I obviously found it compulsive reading. I loved the story and the characters at times but the behaviour was, well all over the place I wouldn't have been surprised half way through the book if we'd been told that Jonathon was bipolar and that it was contagious since Sydney suffers for a spell. Jonathon blew hot and cold more than any other character I've ever read it was hard keeping up with him, and Ashley, what can I say, I don't want to give anything away but you'll understand my issues if you read this book. Also since this is very early on it's not spoiling anything by mentioning that she gets a eight week contract and as part of that she gets an advance but no further mention is made of this, when she's struggling for money where's the advance!
This book could have been so much better but it's still well worth a read.

I received this book for an honest review.

This book was beyond amazing!! The characters are awesome & realistic. The story line is good everything flowed together without confusion. Everything is described perfectly where I could see & feel what Ashley & Jonathan were going through.. Ashley is a girl that has been hurt & is just trying to make a better life with a second chance to make her dreams come true when the hot & sexy Mr. Wilde comes into the pictures she gets scared but all does she know he is there to help her more ways than one. That is all I'm going to put without spoiling anything. I am hopping Ms Deila is planning on writing a second book cause there are some unanswered questions. I can't wait for this book to be released so you guys can enjoy it too!

Ashley a soft spoken girl with a past that she can't tell many about because she knows that they will walk away from her. Jonathon Wilde is a music producer that helps Ashley with her dream but wants more from her and wants to know what she is hiding. They have a pull to each other that she tries to fight since she doesn't want to be wrap around a man. Heart felt story that makes you laugh and cry at times. Wonderful book.

Loved the story line but the flow was horrible. One minute Ashley was asking Jonathan to join her in Dallas and the next they were at LAX. I feel like it could have been a little better than what it was.
