I read this book in one day because I couldn’t put it down. Of the three books in the series, this is my favorite. Dixon and Sulie played prominent parts in the first two books and I’m glad Regina gave them their own story. I like that she cleared up a number of questions raised in the two previous books about family history. As a writer myself, I am blown away at her creativity in the “vampire” genre and how she makes her characters “human.” I look forward to the next book in the series.

Sulie has been in love with Dixon for as long as she can remember. She is terrified of his retiring and losing him forever. Dixon has always had feelings for Sulie but always thought of himself as unworthy because of the fact that he is human and she is immortal. Neither one knows of the other’s true feelings. Just when Sulie gathers the courage to tell Dixon how she feels she is kidnapped. Dixon goes out of his mind trying to find her with the help of her family. They constantly run into road blocks. Finally Dixon catches a break and finds a way to get to her. Sulie regrets not having told Dixon how she feels about him and fears that now she will never get a chance. When she finds out who her kidnappers are she is beyond pissed. They try to use Dixon against her knowing she will agree to anything if it means saving his life. This is a great story with lots of twists you never see coming. It’s a tale filled with intrigue, conspiracy and so much more!!! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Happy reading!

I recevied this from the author for an honest review.

WOW!! Another awesome book in the series. I have to admit I was really excited to read Sulie and Dixon's story. We have seen them both loving each other from the begining of the series so this was the icing on the cake so to speak.

So Sulie is sad to know that in a few days her beloved Dixon will retire from the government and be lost to her forever. She has done everything to show him she is in love with him but has never said it for fear of rejection AND OR ruining her best friend ststus with him.

Dixon has been in love with Sulie for a long time as well but since he was a pathetic human he didnt feel he had a chance. He kept his thoughts to himself and always hid his emotions so that her brother/his best friend Raymond did pick up on the love/lust for Sulie.

SO the story begins with Sulie reminding Dixon to take his medicine because he is anemic......She then takes an emergency call to help deliever some vamp babies and leaves after AGAIN not telling him how she feels. She gets drunk....rip roaring blitz actually!! LOL Well she goes to the hospital but is kidnapped by a couple faking the pregnancy/labor...but why? i mean Sulie is a great vamp doctor but what about her is so special.......

When we find out WHY she is taken and by whom....OMG I gasped. WE find out alot of family history of Raymond and Sulie and this will allllll be a big portion of the next book. Anyway, back to the review....so Dixon ends up stumbling upon the bad guy and is "compelled" to come with him. The bad guy KNOWS Dixon is important to Sulie and uses him for blackmail. I don't want to tell alot about the kidnapping plot because it is a great one!! The shockers that Sulie reveals and what happens to Dixon were awesome........

So the side plot of Kate and Sterling's babies is great. Seeing Sterling sooo happy and becoming a daddy to twins...priceless. The man loves his wife and will do anything to keep his family safe :) I am also happy to report that Raymond and Kate are happy and very in love..sigh......

The introduction of Julian is pretty exciting...new characters can be fun fun fun to learn about. I don't know who the next book is about but i really really really hope it is Ben. I think he is due some love!!

I was so happy to get Sulie’s story. She was seeing everyone get their happy ever after... Literally.
I have said it before but I love the whole idea of these vampires who are able to “age” by the amount of blood consumption.
Sulie does love someone, it is just he doesn’t know it. It why she took the position she has with the agency. So she could be close to him. The problem is he is human and he is getting ready to retire from his position with the agency.
Agent Dixon is getting nervous about retiring. He has worked alongside the vampires for the past thirty years. Heck, his best friend is Sulie’s brother. Lately he has noticed that Sulie hasn’t been acting like herself. She is doing things she usually doesn’t do. Will working a case together, she gets a call and has to leave, when she doesn’t return, Dixon knows something is wrong while all the others brush it off.
When they all learn of her disappearance, Dixon follows the clues and when he meets a mysterious vampire, he goes with his gut. He has to get his girl back and it unfortunately took her disappearing for him to realize he loves her.
I adore Sulie’s character. She is always putting others before herself. After the counsel denies what she wanted to most, which was Dixion, she is left heartbroken. While being held captive, she feels like a fool for never telling him how she really feels and she fears she will not get that opportunity.
Dixon is such a good man and when he is denied what he wants he comes to terms with his fate. I loved how long it took him to see how much Sulie loves him and that he has loved her all along. When she sees who her enemy really is and learns the truth, she is angry, hurt and wants blood!
It is amazing the strength one finds within them when the one they love is in danger, no matter who the enemy maybe. Who said a human couldn’t kick a vampires butt?
This book left me wanting more. We were introduced to characters that I look forward to seeing again, in the revenge kind of way.
Regina has a perfect amount of suspense, longing, a shock factor and of course the romance.
I can’t wait to see what she has coming for us next.
A great read!

Enduring Service is book 3 in the Colony vampire series.....and is by far my favorite story!! I've been anticipating this book for months.

The story centers around Colony member vampire Sulie and Dixon the human Director soon to be retired. Both have been pining for the other for the past thirty years. Each afraid to admit to the other that they are madly in love with one another. When Sulie is kidnapped by rogue vampires, Dixon is determined to do anything and everything to rescue the love of his life....including sacrificing his own to save hers.

I really thought the portions of this book involving baby cord blood was very interesting. New vampires were introduced in this book...some good and some bad. The excitement in this one was never ending. My favorite character in this series is Sulie, so I was thrilled to read her story. I really enjoying getting to know more about her.

Regina Morris is an amazing author and with each of her books I'm more impressed with her writing talent. She's really taken the vampire genre in a totally new direction and the complexity and interesting ideas that surround her series is nothing short of fantastic. Though this series is about vampires, I recommend these books to those who love to see the good guys win in the end. So, if you enjoy an exciting, action packed, intelligently written, sexy romance series....then come aboard~~~~you won't be disappointed!!

Oh my gosh!!! I have read the other books in this series, but I can say with complete honesty that this book is the best out of the series! I enjoyed this book so much that I have re-read it a couple times since my first time reading it.
In the other books in the series, we are told a little bit about Dixon and Sulie. And I can say that I really didn’t expect this book to happen with the two of them together, but it is insane that it did happen! I enjoyed watching the back and forth between them, and it was even better reading the story and realizing that Dixon had NO CLUE how Sulie felt towards him. Adding that made his character all the more realistic and made me love him even more.
I did enjoy that how in the other books; we are told a little bit about what is going on with the other vampires, and the people who are trying to overthrow everything that is happening behind the scenes. And in this book, we learn a lot more of what is going on with all of that.
There is a ton of action that happens in this book, but it doesn’t over throw everything else going on. Dixon and Sulie still get their fair share of the limelight in the book. This book is has an amazing balance of love, suspense, action, and drama that kept me turning the pages and wanting more and more from the characters.
I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen in the next book!

Enduring Service is book three in The Colony series and I really enjoyed reading the book. Sulie is a vampire and Dixon is a human director that will be retiring soon. Sulie is in love with her boss Dixon and always has been for years but has never told him. Will she finally have a chance to tell Dixon?

I love Sulie's character she is strong, always putting other's first, funny and dedicated. Also Sulie is the Presidents private physician. Dixon is a great guy and is best friends with Sulie's brother Raymond. Dixon and Sulie are working on a case together and she gets kidnapped. When Dixon realizes she has been kidnapped he does everything to get her back. Dixon realizes his feeling for Sulie when she is taken. What are they? You'll just have to read this book for yourself!
Enduring Service has lots of action, suspense, romance, and kept me wanting to read more.

I like it! Sweet and action packed all rolled into one...

Dixon has always had a thing for Sulie, but because of their age difference and the fact that he's only a human, he's never pursued it.

Sulie has been in love with Dixon for as long as she can remember, the only problem, he's human. Terrified of losing him and him never remembering her after he retires from the President's inner circle, she starts thinking of ways to allow them to be together. Just as she's about to finally tell Dixon how she feels, she's kidnapped, and the fight that they go through to get back together is rife with twists, turns, surprises, and action.

A tale full of intrigue with an amazing romantic overtone, Enduring Service is highly recommended!

I had been waiting for Sulie's book to come out and I have to say I Loved it Sulie is such a strong , funny and very dedicated to her work and she is a woman who is very protective of those she loves and there is nothing she will not do for them. She has been in love for the past thirty yeas with director of the Colony and as Dixon retirement is coming up will things get complicated for them or will they finally find true love. Well you will just have to read it. And now the wait for William's story I can't wait.

Before the review, I would like to thank Regina for the book, and second,I have to say that this is the first book I'm reading of hers, and even though my mind goes a bit crazy if I don't read the books in a series in order, I was taking a leap of faith because Regina said that this book would be a good book to jump into.

And hold and behold, she, of course, was right! I didn't feel confused of feel like I wasn't understanding the plot of the world. So you guys can jump into the series with this book too, it's perfectly fine.

If you have seen some of my blog post and my Instagram page, you probably know by now that I love the Paranormal Romance genre and especially Vampire books. I love reading them and figure out, and really understand, what makes the vampires what and who they are. Every author has their own "thing" that they put in their vampires that makes them different from every single book and series about vampires. And that’s what really made me start writing my own vampire series.

Of course I was curious to know about the vampires in this story, and the vampire society and characteristic and the vampirism (the drinking blood and all that) made sense too me. It had that particular thing that made this series different from the others I have read. Regina added something unique to her own vampire story and that's really what made me excited while I was reading the book. That and the characters.

Talking about the characters... Sulie Metcalf is the main female character, she's a doctor and a Colony Agent, and we know right from the start that she loves Jonathan Dixon, the Director of the COLONY, "the human liaison between the President and the vampire team who had protected all the presidents since Lincoln’s assassination".

As we keep reading we start to understand no only the world and Sulie, but also Dixon. I found myself liking him a lot, even finding him funny, and loving how Sulie cared for him.

First of all, Sulie is such an unusual name for me, but it gives her such an interesting aura and I love it. Second, Dixon is a cutie pie. That's it! You guys really have to go read the book so you can understand why.

There was action and since it's a series about a security team, of course the book had to go through some rollercoaster of action and "Oh no!" or "Hell, yes!" moments.

I liked how the story was written, I liked how you could feel empathy for the characters, and I loved the vampire aspects of the story. I'm curious to know more about the Vampire Council, because there's something there that I need to explore. And I'm now very curious to read all the other books in this series, including the first two.

That been said, it may not be a surprise that I recommend this book, especially if you are a vampire lover, you have to give this series a shot if you haven't already.

This was a wonderfully well written book of love and Suspense. Sulie is part of a vampire sect that watches over the president, and Dixion is her human boss whom she has loved for thirty years and is nearing retirement. Suddenly Sulie is kidnapped and the whole team goes into action to save her. You'll sit on the edge of your seat with your heart racing, unable to put this book down. Ms. Morris is wonderfully descriptive, pulling you into the story as if you are truly there. Her plot line is awesome, with a happy ever after, but still room for the next story to grow from. I can't wait for book four. I received this as a free copy and happily and voluntarily choose to leave a review.

Emotionally gripping, heart pounding action, thrilling mystery and makes you reread what you just read (just to make sure) twits and turns. So entertaining I could not put it down.

Colony Agent Sulie Metcalf is sexy, smart and so head over heals in love with her human boss, she would do anything for him (except confess her feelings out loud) including give her immortal life. Jonathan Dixon is sweet, caring, sexy and so crazy about his best friend. Unwilling to go out on a limb and possibly lose her friendship his is considering retiring instead. All beats are off when Sulie is kidnapped and her feelings for Jonathan are used ageist her. Looking forward to more from The Colony.

I got this book in exchange for a review. This book is about a covert team of vampires who protect the U.S. President. Jonathan Dixon, a human, is in charge of the unit. He is in love with Sulie Metcalf, the president's private physician, also part of the unit. When other vampire's go after the president, will they all survive ? Will Dixon ever let Sulie know he loves her? This book involves espionage, danger, and death . It's well written and makes the reader glad to be a part of the team.

Vampire's do exist...and this group of good guys help protect the President of the United States. In this book Sulie is a female vampire and with her brother and other vamps are the group that do it. The human side of it is Dixon . Together they work side by side and for 30 year's those two have cared for each other but haven't said a word about it to anyone....problems arise and stuff hits the fan! What a good storyline this is and great characters. Really enjoyed this.

Taken by strangers, held without food Sulie is slowly dying. Her family is struggling to find any leads to her whereabouts. Evil from her past has come to wreck havoc in her family's lives. Love shines through when all looks lost.

I really liked this book but I truly enjoy paranormal books. This is a romance book about vampires and humans. Some of the president's guards are vampires and this is about their lives.

Since I happen to like this type of book I enjoyed it immensely. Please give it a try.

A very engrossing and unique story! The characters are sympathetically savage and you are immersed in a world so familiar yet so totally foreign that each turn of the page is a journey into surprise and unexpected realism! I really enjoyed it.

I reviewed this book for Rising Indies United.

This is Sulie's story and it's a great read. Sulie is Raymond's sister, and also the personal doctor to the President because of her unique ability. She can tell all about your health by just a touch or taste of your blood. She has been in love with Dixon for a very long time, but has always been too scared to tell him, because she doesn't think that he loves her back. And she wouldn't want to ruin that friendship.

Time is running out though. Dixon was the human director for The Colony, but he is retiring soon. With retirement comes a complete mind wipe. He will not remember any of them afterwards, including Sulie. He really doesn't want that to happen, but he has been denied becoming a vampire. He also has never told Sulie how he feels.

This book has some great action in it with Sulie being kidnapped. Vampires from the past come out and some things that were thought to be the truth, they learn aren't even close.

I really enjoyed the relationship that Sulie and Dixon have. I wanted to slap them both for being to chicken to tell each other how they felt. Definitely a series I will keep reading.

Just finished this book, third in the series. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Wow, what a page turner. I've been enjoying this series since told about it by my sister. The characters are great. This has humor, romance, action, everything a good read should have. The whole concept of vampires protecting the President is an intriguing idea. I hope many more are written in the series. Regina knows how to keep you glued to the pages to see what happens next. This book is about Sulie and the soon-to-be retired director of the Colony, the group of vamps who work for the government. I swear I had trouble putting this one down. It's a gotta read, definitely. If you haven't read the rest of the series, do so. All are really worth the time. Not even expensive on Amazon.

Great Story

I love PNR, and vampire stories are one of my favorite. They have so many variations they can take. This was a great story, and I like the fact that it's based on secret service type agents, but the stuff they do isn't really centered around the president. I found it interesting and engaging. I definitely plan to continue the series.

Regina Morris wrote a fast pace book. I couldn't set it down. The characters were
will thought out and you cared what happened to them.

The novel belonged to the paranormal romance genre. What I enjoyed was the two main characters share a secret that brought them together. I love books about good and bad vampires. Morris doesn't disappoint. It' a battle between two rival vampire clans; one evil, the other good.

Enduring Service is a great read. I recommend it to anyone, who loves vampire fiction.
