Julia Burns can’t remember a day in her life when she didn’t have to work. So the ad in the paper sounds perfect to her – even if she does have to marry a complete stranger.
Nicholas Steele isn’t used to being around people since the accident that left him disfigured. Having a permanent house guest isn’t his idea of fun, however, the press would have a field day if they found he and his new wife weren’t residing together.
On paper, their ‘fake’ marriage fits both their needs, giving Nicholas a wife and Julia the security she's always dreamed of having. In reality, every moment Nicholas and Julia spend together brings them closer to falling for each other.
Somewhat shy, though very silly, and rather cheeky once you get to know her, British born author Danielle Taylor writes stories with characters that tear into your heart and soul. When Danielle isn't writing or procrastinating, you can find her doing Mummy things; and if not for a funky pancreas, she'd eat cake at every meal.
Okay so at first, I'm all thinking, "Great, this is gonna be some modern twist on Beauty and the Beast."
Man, was I wrong!
I LOVE this story. The emotions are real, the story is intense, and the characters....oh the characters! Julia is a badass! She came from nothing, wants nothing, needs nothing, and yet...and yet she's probably the most epic female character I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. When Nicholas treats her badly, sure she wants to cry (who wouldn't) but she stands up for herself in a way that sets her apart from most leading ladies these days. Nicholas...wow. At first, I thought, "Really, Danielle? After Mac, Tiaan, and Dex (LOVE THEM), you give us THIS asshat?" But wowwwww. Nicholas is so fiercely complex, and he's damaged in a way that's not typically the norm. I love Falling For You. I will be anxiously waiting for the next installment!
Ok my heart has stopped! Nicholas deserves every emotional distress he is feeling! I loved the way Julia handled things. I can't wait to get the next installment. Danielle please hurry!
Into the throws of passion, out of the depths of despair, onto what one could only wish for, finally she has the chance she has been waiting for. But wait.....I personally enjoy this book for many reasons but one of the main reasons is because it shows that love comes from inside and the outside features are just what they are features, sometimes they may be pretty, sometimes they may be harsh but LOVE comes from within and this book is portraying this. In keeping with my newest tradition I will say please if you love a book LEAVE A REVIEW it only takes moments of your time and you will have no idea how much it can help the author out!
So right now I'm a little to amped up to leave a good review. I will have to do that later. But I will tell you that I may be slightly obsessed with this series and I need the next book like yesterday, So when is it coming out?
