Ari Harper never wanted to grow up.
To offset the limitations of aging ungracefully, she created her own set of unique worlds where she can be and do whatever she wants.
Gods, witches and demons surround Ari while she spins her magic, doing mainly what they tell her to do. Given a chance, she prefers to work amongst chaos, which is good because she is constantly surrounded by children, all clamoring for attention. Some of them end up in her stories, some of them even get to die grisly deaths or be cast away to another realm.

So this book and I aren't exactly on the same page. In the last one, Nera was a used to be human who came into the knowledge that she is a witch who is destined to save the human race and rule the world. I don't know about you but that would freak me out a bit. Okay, that wold freak me out A LOT. I mean, come on, the fate of the world literally rests on your shoulders. In this one, Sully, one of her best friends is coming into the power of shape shifting. Freakyy. Nera is coming to discover that she just keeps getting powers. She's getting stronger, faster and brattier. I honestly didn't think it was possible. It's like she has a need to make everyone feel bad if she is. I mean she even say it. Roar. Come on honey, I've said it before, grow freaking up. You're not going to get rid of your powers. Sorry you're stuck with them. Yeah, it really sucks to be you; you've got pretty awesome friends, an amazing family, an adorable little brother, powers that will help you be able to protect the ones you love and you've got Bones. Bones? Yeah, in case you haven't noticed (and I'm pretty sure you haven't) he's amazing. He cares about you so much and you treat him like crap. Everything he does it to protect you and you've said 'thank you' what- twice?

Okay, I think I'm done ranting about Nera and he brattiness. In case you can't tell, I'm not too fond of her. Now, Bones is another story.... I rather like him. I feel really bad for him. Why he likes Nera I will never understand. Why Sully likes Nera I will never understand either. Not a fan of Sully either. Not very good at keeping promises and is kind of a baby. *shugs* There's a line between bluntness/ being mean and telling it how it it. Yeah Nera is mean. Dear guys, why do you like her? Okay, not to talk about something other than what I feel about the characters.

Okay, so when Nera gets into people's head, the way the thoughts are formed are kind of weird. On page 95 of the ARC Bones thinks "I feel betrayed and resentful" and no one ( and I mean no one) thinks like that. Sometimes the characters talk and think a little funny, especially for highschoolers, but overall I thought that it was well composed. Sometimes the five year old's thoughts/ speech was a little too formal. I know, I know. He's supposed to be mature for his age because he has freakin awesome powers, but can we make it a little more realistic? Please?

Okay, you know what I would love? Like really, really, really adore? If we could have a few scenes from Bones' POV. There's this one scene where Bones is in the background and Jasper coughs and when Nera turns around Bones is blushing and I would love to know what he was thinking that was so embarrassing.

And then there's the love triangle. Yes, there's a love triangle. I actually thought it was well composed for one; it wasn't mushy and weird. It was kind of cute. Whenever Bones was around, Sully would get all touch feely and when ever Sully was around, Bones would get short and snappy. It was cute. I found it a little funny.

I love the descriptions in here. I could see everything. The emotions were real (not matter how much I though some of them were uncalled for) and so were the smells, sights and sounds.

Overall this book is loveable with a MC who needs to grow and and a boy named Bones who needs to not let her push him away.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you Itching for Books for letting me be a part of this tour. Thank you Ari Harper for giving me the opportunity to read your book!

First of all this is the second book. In my opinion, you have to read the first one, in order to understand the story better. When I signed up for the tour, I didn’t know there were two books, so I was glad to hear that. More books I read more happiness for me! Anyway… enough with rambling. Ari Harper really did an amazing job with this book. I’ve seen how the characters have grown, how the story can change abruptly, and how can all the characters face to all of their problems. It was a beautiful journey, and I have to admit, these are the books that I’m going to enjoy reading again.

In the first book, Witchling, Nera finds out she is a powerful witch that it’s destined for grater things. She has to save the Earth and practically rule the world. She is scared, but courageous at the same time, she keeps getting new powers and she has to learn how to control and use them. A hard thing to do, especially when you are scared. Luckily for her, she has her friends, her brother and her amazing family. She has everything she needs in order to succeed in her new life.

Nera’s best friend, Sully has just learned shape shifting it’s his power, an amazing one if I can say so. He fights to maintain control over his power, while Nera and Bones tries to keep him safe and make him feel like home in their group of friends and family. Bones…this is a hard one. I loved his character so much!!! He adores Nera, even if she acts pretty ugly around him. He protects her, keeps her safe and he is always there for her!

I think Nera doesn’t deserves Bones, he is really too nice for her. And the love triangle, that did a number on me. Come on, I kind of like Sully, but he doesn’t compares to Bones, not even close. But, Ari Harper knows what she is doing, she knows her skills. You can get a strange vibe about this book at first, but you are going to love it. Give it a chance! It has a lot of craziness in it, I mean in a good way! Can’t wait to read more books, written by Ari Harper. I recommend this book!

I received this book for a honest review and as a part of the tour! Thanks!:) Original post on: http://nervidetoamna.blogspot.ro/

First I want to say that this review would be shorter than the review of the first book, because I don't want to spoil people who didn't read the first one or this one. Plus, in my opinion the plot is saying enough, and if I would say more what would you have to find out? I want you to be curious about this book, and series, to know and desire to discover things and find out alone, and not from me.

I should say that this book is better than the first one, in my opinion, and the characters are more mature, even Nera is more "grow up" and doesn't speak out loud without thinking, or she's trying:)). This one was full of suspense, and action, and feelings and emotion everywhere and you just wanted to know what is going to happen next, and the pages were running one after another and... I don't know when I finshed it.

My favorite characters is Bones, I liked him more than Nera, and is nice how he tries everytime to teach her and protect her, even she had bad days or say bad things to him. Plus, he knows a lot of things and I dunno, he has something special. Sully is more like cute and sweet and not really my type of favorite guy character.
Talking about Nera I should say that she changed, that she's more ambitious, she wants to fight, to protect her family and friends, to protect Sully and help him. I like how in this book/series love and friendship intertwine.

I know I said just a few things and I didn't said about Sully, or who is their enemy, or what learns Nera to fight them, but I want that you read and you discover yourself all this things:). Because is more interesting like that. Overall this book was good, like I said before it had action, and suspense and moment when you were glued to the pages. So if you like paranormal, witchy books then I recommend it to you.
