Tori and Julian have found love and are living on the Rez Julian grew up on just outside red river. tori has been on medical leave from the FBI while recovering from PTSD. When they find remains on the land there's no choice but to call in the Blackhawks.
Returning to red river is the last thing any of them want to do, it's full of bad memories and even more animosity for the Blackhawks themselves. The Blackhawks find them selves having to solve decade old murders to catch a new killer.
With out giving to much away I will say Callen get the shock of his life!
This book is my new favourite in the series. I love how you can never guess who done it till the end.

I love these books and characters so much with each book in the series I read. I always am looking for stand-alone books and series that make me wish I knew the characters and this series does. I thought book 4 was my favorite and I did love that one a lot but this one I loved more! I loved the path of some characters, in their beginnings and endings, from the previous books. The suspense/ murder mystery portion got me slightly creeped out too. Which I didn’t mind and it kept me guessing :) What’s book 7 have to bring, I’m ready to see.

Better and better

Each book in this series is better than the previous. The way the author draws you in to each character and allows the words on paper to show you what she envisioned is just amazing. And while yes we have our sexy natives, our vixen women and some good old fashion mayhem around every corner ... Ultimately it all comes down to love.

I really love this author, Morgan Kelley knows her Murder and Mayhem, but she also knows her love story between Elizabeth, Ethan and Callen.
