The Lunatic Memoirs
Jack Downing has become one of the most influential business tycoons in the world.
Jack Downing also believes that God has chosen him to annihilate the entire existence of human beings.

Well that was a stupid book.
I’ve read some of the 4 and 5 Star reviews and I can’t believe we read the same book;
“One climactic twist after another.” “One twist after another.” Nope, there aren’t any twists at all. It’s just a story of (spoiler alert) a 9-year-old kid who kills his sister, kills his parents, kills his psychotherapist, somehow escapes punishment for these four murders and as he grows older goes on to kill countless other people in the believe he’s the chosen one.
“Talk about getting engrossed in a good book.” Well you can talk about that, but this isn’t the book. Although I have to be honest here and admit to wondering where it’s all leading, which turns out to be absolutely nowhere, but it’s hardly an engrossing or absorbing read.
“After you make it to the finish you certainly won't believe where you end up.” Unfortunately, you will believe where you’ve ended up. At the finish, thank God.
“I’m lost for words.” Me too. “Speechless.” Me too.
“Whatever I write in this review will not do it justice.” Oh, I’m sure it will. I’m sure I could write something that would do it justice.
“Very artful work of literature.” “True work of art.” “This book will find itself among the classics without a shadow of a doubt.” Hmmmm, I hate to cast that shadow, but we’re hardly likely to see it standing amongst ‘Nineteen eighty-four’ ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ or ‘Of Mice and Men’ to name a few.

Miserable incomprehensible nonsense
This book is formated a few words per line. The description claims this is to "preserve the insanity of the lunatic" but given that the book is fictional and as such the lunatic does not exist, I can't help but suspect that what it actually was, was a way of boosting page count without increasing word count or improving the writing so that the plot is even a little bit possible to follow.

A great story about a serial killer who becomes one of the most important person in the country. He talks about his role as the new "Adam" and the plan God has for him to cleanse the world.
A very quick read that keeps you engrossed in the story. It is written in free form, so it moves very quickly.

Excellent read
This book just sounded interesting. I had already read The Looney Bin Letters by the same author. But this book The Lunatic Memoirs was an awesome read. A little weird especially how it was written almost like in poem forms. I finished this book in 2 nights. Highly recommend you read it.

The ending of this book surprised me. This book was very interesting, but good. I really enjoyed it. I wish this book had more detail about Jack being in the asylum though. What a fantastic read. I finished this book in one day. 5 star for the uniqueness and storytelling. I don't know what else to say about this book.

Didn't see that coming
At first the style of Thatcher C. Nalley wrote this in was a bit off putting. But let me tell you that after a very short time I was enjoying the flow of the words. Great story with a bit of a twist that I didn't see coming, hence the title of this review. All in all, a great read!

This is a very fast read. It's not bad.. it's just different. I did think there would be more action, but also understand that this was meant to be a "memoir" style book, so the fact that it was more of a steam of thoughts rather than a plot and story is expected.

Holy crap. This was a bit difficult to review. On the one hand, the subject was just awful, but you should have known that, essentially, from the title. The book is written in poetry-style, but not rhyming and not quite poetry, neither. At first I thought that was going to annoy me too much, but I quickly realized the format actually contributed to the story, making some passages and thoughts more poignant or horrifying. Overall, very clever and very creepy. If you want some good psychological horror, this is a great choice.
