The main idea is good. To have main character that are actually smart. But its so badly written with cheesy conversations and very shallow perspectives. Additionally the main character became too good to be true. Too wise, too smart and all of the other characters were powerless and charmed every time this guy opened his mouth. There are also too many "luck" factor in the story.

Conversations between male and female always felt like cheap lines in porn movies. I stopped reading after one of the 2 female character ever describing to the man she just had sex with that she was choosing which other man to "catch" on the boat. And she was being serious.

I mean like seriously, who talks like that???

Definitely not Uncle Georges Zombies...

I was a little less than charitable when i reviewed the "Interludes in Hell" book because I didn't like the authors version of the zombie plague. Well, I still don't...but, taken all together, especially the rabies angle and all things therein, it worked, and it worked well. I will always have a problem with animated corpses that can endlessly run a four minute mile. Having said that, the book still rocks.

I highly recommend this book!!!!

Room for more?

This is a good story, and pretty much what you would expect if you had won 300 million in the lottery just before the apocalypse. I wish I cold be that lucky. But it is a good read and I did enjoy the story line.
