When Caroline's company won an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii, she thought all she'd be doing was lying on the beach drinking mai tais with her best friend Lisa. Little did she know her life would be turned upside down when she ran into Mark Selzer in the elevator.
Expecting their one night of passion to be only that, Caroline is shocked when Mark shows up at her door two weeks later. Will she be able to open up enough to let him into her life? And how will she react when she finds out he's the heir to the largest resort company in the country?
This 15,000 word story is the first instalment in The Billionaire's Command trilogy.
Hi! I’m Victoria Villeneuve. I’m a small town girl at heart, with dreams of living in a cabin in the country with my two dogs and my amazing boyfriend Mike. When I’m not writing you can usually find me enjoying a nice mocha in my local coffee shop, reading some of my favourite books by the lake or playing soccer with my friends.
Caroline's branch office had met and exceeded their sale targets and had won an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii, for everyone in the office! It's there she meets Mark, they have a one night stand. Something that's completely out of character for Caroline. After returning home, and going back to work, Mark has become a fond memory. Until he turns up unannounced at her home one evening a few weeks later.
This story is part one, and ends on a cliffhanger. It's very short as well. Caroline is a bit of a control freak, due to her background. Although her backstory didn't seem all that bad to me. Mark we learn about in the latter part of this.
This was just okay for me, the writing is awkward and a bit choppy. The interactions between the characters feel a bit forced. The sex scenes were okay, but I have read much better. The second half of the story flowed a whole lot better than the first. I'm not sure that I will read more. I'm getting rather fed up with stories being released in small bite size pieces.
Caroline is an financial analyist for a company in Minneapolis. The entire branch won a trip to Hawaii and while taking a surfing lesson, a handsome guy named Mark rescues her from a fall. After spending the afternoon getting to know her she is Seduced ~ (at) The Billionaire's Command ~ Book 1.
After the one night stand Caroline returns to Minnesota and work. Mark shows up and after freaking out over him finding her she finally calls him back. Will she take the job he offers after she finds out who he really is?
Caroline and Mark meet in Hawaii and have an amazing explosive night together. It was supposed to only be one night and while Caroline still thought of Mark she never expected to see him again. And then he just shows up at her door!!!! Total stalker right but also very sweet. After another amazing night Mark makes her an offer she's not sure she can refuse and if she accepts it wil change things for her forever.
Caroline is fierce doing things on her own and is happy with her life that way. She's in charge of herself and doesn't answer to anyone. You can see the immidate attraction to Mark and through her thought you know she doesn't normally take rick but with him I loved seeing her go out on a limb.
Mark is sweet and a bit mysterious and watching him go full force with Caroline was great. Even though they didn't really know each other you could tell he felt something and went for what he wanted no matter how crazy it made him seem.
This story is enjoyable enough and I liked the flow of it my only problem was with the amount of information you got sometimes I just wanted to know more or know more details. Overall though I liked it and am headed straight to read the next.
I was lucky to receive the three books in one given by the author for an honest review! And i loved them!!!! Sweet and emotional, but also hot and sexy Caroline and Marc's story is a good one to bring a smile on your face! I really was hoping for more because this story has so much potential! It really bothered me to not to know what happened with the mum or them! I simply hope there is more coming!
Enjoyed the novella - a nice light read. I thought however the storyline could be a bit more complex and then the submissive/dom part; you either put it in properly or you leave it out. Her just calling him Sir is a bit stupid. I would have preferred not to have any BDSM in the book - not a fan of it at all. Luv, Linda - South Africa <3 xxx
Decent for a short story, Caroline has her secrets and it seems there's something off in Mark's background as well. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
When Caroline's company wins a trip to Hawaii the last thing she thought of would have been doing is a one night stand with a hot guy she ran into on the elevator
