If you live on Kiloran Isle. You pay no king a tax. Your land is yours for free. But if a Kiloran comes for your daughter. A payment it must be.
This is the first book in my series of Refurbished Fairy Tales. In this I let my imagination run wild with the idea of, what if the beast in beauty and the beast was really a werewolf. I used the imaginary world I created for my Annan series to answer this question in a tale of magic and unexpected love that changes how an entire island of people live. Join Bella in her journey in discovering the world she lives in, steeped in fables and superstitions, is even more magical than the tales lead one to believe.
I'm dreamer and an indie author going at this alone with no editor and no beta readers so as of now my books do need work. However, I am often told my plot lines and characters are amazing. This is because I let the action and the dialogue drive the story, not lots sentences explaining what the protagonist is doing.
I don't write for teens, so if you read teen books often mine may be hard to understand. I try to write to CMOS, so if you read many books that are not, mine might be hard to understand.
However, if you love reading adult books with lots of emotion, steaminess, and action, you have come to the right place.
Please enjoy my books, many of which are free, and remember: they are not edited and they are for adults only, not for teens and not to be read as as though they were written for teens... In other words, these are no Twilight Sagas. :)
Werewolf version of Beauty and the Beast. Not sure why another reviewer said it was not different from the original. This one was set in Ireland and had things like portals and a panel of old werewolf elders. I never read any of that in Beauty and the Beast. Pretty good book for an indie author who uses no editors. (I went to her website)
Super sweet even if it needed some help. I enjoyed tha authors take, though not much was changed from original. Had elements from many different fairytales, confusing the direction of the plot several times. Still a very nice read.
