As an underprivileged, scrawny boy, Travis’s days are passed in some combination of being picked on by classmates, being tormented by his teacher, being beaten by his alcoholic father, or being blamed by his mother. Travis handles these problems with the naiveté of a pure-hearted child, until he discovers a secret under a bridge. This unlikely secret evens the odds for young Travis, and allows him to find the acceptance and friendship he’s always sought, but never known.

This novelette is a modern fairy tale full of drool, blood, claws, and fangs.

Christopher Brimmage is a writer, marketer, former teacher, and former boy band frontman. He enjoys posing like statues in front of statues and writing, particularly sci-fi and satire. Ever think about getting revenge on your parents, teachers, class bullies? Well, young Travis does and he may have just found the prefect means to pull it off.
Due to the fact that this book discusses child abuse, it might not be for every reader. Yet as a work of revenge-fantasy fiction it plays out well.
